Inside Russia's nuclear strategy - with Darya Dolzikova

Despite the amount and the variety of sectors targeted by sanctions and restrictions in response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, there is one industry which has been barely touched: the nuclear energy sector. This industry is run by the state-owned company Rosatom in a de facto monopoly.
Since 2007, Rosatom has become a global player by building partnerships and signing memorandums of understanding around the world, not only with the so-called Global South but also with Europe.
In this video, Eleonora Tafuro Ambrosetti, ISPI Senior Research Fellow, interviews Darya Dolzikova, a researcher at the Royal United Service Institute in London and a leading expert on nuclear proliferation and policy, to outline the present and future of Russian nuclear power and understand how Europe will move forward.
