    New technologies are transforming geopolitics, even in the wider Mediterranean region, shaping the region's economy and energy sectors. Despite their potential, these technologies face challenges like supply chain issues, the cost of scaling up, efficiency improvements and the risks of new dependencies and monopolies. This event offers insights from on the Mediterranean’s role in the new geopolitics of technology and focuses on the social implications and industrial challenges of the twin green and digital transitions in the region.
