About Me ::
Hi, I'm Louise! I started this channel in 2009 after readers of my blog (also called Sprinkle of Glitter) suggested I give UA-cam a try. I was instantly hooked and have found my internet playground on here. I make videos about beauty & fashion, positive living, motherhood, lifestyle and occasionally have special guests (friends, kittens or my sweet Daughters Darcy, 7 and Pearl, 12 months). Emily Hunt I suggested to my mom to paint the dining room pink since it used to have old wallpaper on it that was white she said no it’ll be greeen but we already have a green room that my late sister painted
I personally wouldn't paint the wood but I LOVE that you have your own style and don't follow the crowd. I love that your house isn't just grey. I say go for it! Life is too short.
Plant a wildflower meadow for the bees and butterflies! Low maintenance, pretty and importantly, you can help the insects. You can get packs of wildflower seeds from supermarkets and literally just throw the seeds where you want them.
This is such a lovely idea! It can double as a cutting garden too.

I gave birth about six weeks ago, it was such a positive experience and it all goes down to you. I watched pearls home birth vlog, I remembered you just breathing through the contractions and that was exactly what I did. When I was having my contractions I kept thinking of you and to breath in and breath out. I also didn’t take any pain relief! All thanks to You Louise Pentland!

That bannister is that honey shade of wood that I'm not keen on so if you want to paint that, I think it could go well with the pastel vibe of the landing. But your reclaimed wood furniture is so lovely as is :3 like you said though, life's too short! Also for the garden, wild flower seeds are super low maintenance and good for the bees ^^

That dress looks utterly gorgeous! I love watching you decide on different unique bits to put in your house, would you consider doing a little video (not a house tour because I know you have said you are not comfortable with that) that shows all of the bits of DIY and changes of a period of time? I watched today's vlog while sorting out some workey bits and getting prepped for a productive day xx

Paint the wall first and see if the wood furniture feels better, if not, paint it! It can always be sanded back down and restained - it's just wood.

When you upload on a Sunday, I grab myself a coffee and some breakfast and sit and watch it in my bed! It’s glorious
You could cut that extra bit of deck which joins to the path, into a diagonal? So there is more to walk on but without it being a square into the grass. So it is more triangle like, if you get me?

I always watch The Weekly while cooking breakfast and sipping my coffee. It’s a wonderful, relaxing weekly routine. 💕

I work a 9-5 Monday through Friday so my chill weekend mornings are so important to me. I love,love, LOVE waking up with your weekly on a Sunday morning. Thanks to Living in America it's always ready and waiting in my subscription box when I do wake up! I love curling up on the sofa with my hot cup of coffee and settling in to watch these! Whether they are long chatty ones or a true Vlog of your day! This has become a staple in my Sunday morning! So thank you Louise! 💞💞💞💞
My mother used to take the lid off her favorite perfume bottles and place them in her intimates draw. I find I now do the same.
I look forward to your weeklys! I usually play them a couple times while I get ready, clean, cook, etc because every time I watch I get something new out of it!

Louise we always spend our Sunday mornings together! I always have a little ritual I go through now: Get up, shower, make coffee, make my bed, and sit in my soft office sipping coffee, watching the weekly vlog, and prepping for the week ahead. Literally, the best way to start my week.

Hey Louise, garden idea.
That little corner of decking you aren’t sure about, gets lots of different pretty pots and arrange them on a curve to fill in the corner and match the curve you have created with the lawn so it’s symmetrical.
You could plant them with lots of herbs. Great for cooking, they are low maintenance and I could imagine Darcy really enjoying helping you pot them.

I'm thinking a pale pink banister against a grey wall will look like you're at a leisure centre. Although a pink banister to match the wall behind the telly in your lounge against a white wall would look fab! Loved the vlog, Pearl is coming along impressively.

I usually watch your videos while trying to be productive around the house or eating lunch! (or when I'm feeling glum and need a cheer up.) Currently I'm watching this video while prepping for a trip I leave for in a few days. Packing, tidying, updating my music, etc. It almost feels like having company, spending time with an old friend at this point! 😊

Aw yay! I’m a few days late but you answered my question about dating thank you! I feel like it took me a while to really grow and find myself after my breakup last year (I was 25 and it was a 6 year relationship) and sometimes I feel like I should find dating easy already...but I’m still struggling a bit. I enjoy watching the weekly doing a few different things, if I’m not working I will sit in bed with a tea, or watch while I’m doing some housework, or if I am working I watch it when I’m finished to wind down 😊 I also love how you talk to your cats! Xxx

Great; comments are working now! I think you should plant Cistus bushes in your garden. They don’t grow that tall, they’re low maintenance and, with a decent amount of sun, they’ll have hundreds of flowers in late spring/early summer. Also, I don’t think you should paint the stair rail; it looks cute as it is 😊

That piano/phone toy haunts my life! It's from Sainsbury's and I work on home wear and clothing, and every single time I have put those toys out on the shelf, all of them go off and make a huge racket!

Harborugh Is no longer a 'small town'! Britain in Bloom moved Us (yes I live there) into the town section from the small town as over 25k people here and we get the shops due to being bang imbetween Liecester and Northampton and being a bit posh (in parts I'm not in the posh part). It is also why the charity shops are so good!

I loved that you mentioned watching your videos while doing something else because I always do this with your videos! They're so lovely to listen to! All the weeds have been pulled, the leaves and crud raked away, and I got rid of some plants that were sick or dead. I like that the garden is changing for spring and summer :)

I always get a routine going before I leave home and when I’m in my new place to help with anxiety, fill it with things that make you comfortable and find good distractions - I find reading better than watching Netflix/UA-cam as you can’t scroll on your phone at the same time!!
I usually have the vlogs on in the background while I do my makeup and it’s a great way to start the day, today I watched while painting my nails-pale pink how fitting! Love the video as always
The “junk” area of the garden is huge, seems a waste to make it a junk area! I would have some storage for the kid’s toys and gardening things and maybe a wildflower strip or bushes along the brick side.
