About Me:
Hi, I'm Louise! I started this channel in 2010 after readers of my blog (called Sprinkle of Glitter) suggested I give UA-cam a try. I was instantly hooked and have found my happy place on here. I make videos about my day to day life, family travel or day trips, motherhood, plus size fashion and exciting work projects. Occasionally I have special guests too - friends, kittens or my sweet Daughters Darcy, 12 and Pearl, 6.
Outside of my online life I love crafts & small DIYs, all things Disney, programmes about bygone eras, shopping for lovely clothes that make me feel amazing and being at home with my fiance and children.
I've written 6 books so far (stocked in Waterstones, WHSmith, Amazon and all good supermarkets) and can't wait to start book 7!
We are currently planning our wedding, set for 2025 and I can't wait to start sharing bits of that with you!

Hi Louise, Complex PTSD presents very similarly to autism, but isn’t as well known as it’s a more recent addition to the ICD (11). Knowing bits of what you went through as a child, I would suggest looking into CPTSD as well. Love you!

I will say Louise, I suspect I have autism, my partner and sister are diagnosed with autism. I’ve always found you a rare UA-camr that I actually hugely relate to in A LOT of ways that I don’t generally relate to people. I wish you luck on your journey, whether you choose to be assessed or not. You are such an inspiration ❤
I thought the same! It wasn’t until I was diagnosed I started to realise how many people in my life are seemingly ND too. I think we naturally group together 😂❤️

great video! it's always appreciated when creators are upfront about the business side of things🙌 i would however genuinely love to know what your values/beliefs ARE because you have been so quiet about them throughout your career. you're obviously a very caring and kind person and carry yourself with love, but it's difficult to trust how far that acceptance goes

When you're ready I'd love to see the fashion videos back too. For a long time you were the only try on haul in my subscriptions that was the same size as me and I remember the day you first tucked your top into your jeans and felt good about it!!I feel so much more confident in spring and summer in nice flattering dresses and pretty skirts so I'm excited for you to feel the same too

ur talk about plus size fashion is so relatable, it's exhausting to find clothes when you're plus size. im bigger and baggy jeans make me look awful, so i just stick with jumpers and leggins and while i think i look nice in them it would be nice to have some diversity other than just leggings. and finding something you find beautiful but you cannot have it is just tiring, i wanna be cute and have more options that aren't just flowly tops or ones with cold shoulders or slogans covering it.

Signs and symptoms of autism are very similar to trauma / PTSD / CPTSD. I’d recommend having a look into that and comparisons too as part of your research because it’s very eye opening
Fellow autism & adhd girlie here! I was diagnosed at 22 so as an adult! Getting diagnosed was the BEST thing for my mental health and self esteem - finally I understand myself and why I can’t do certain things ❤ Thank you for being so open about it ❤
My sister was also diagnosed late with autism she was 13 and yet she's basically non verbal and it was totally obvious to us

Just wanted to drop a comment! I’ve been watching you for YEARS recently been binging on your content!
When I was planning our wedding it’s so overwhelming and I found everyone had an opinion 🤣 in the end I made it just me and my wife (I also ordered my wedding dressing online - I’m on the other end of the spectrum where I am so skinny I often end up crying because things just don’t fit the way they should!)
ALSO at 34 nearly 35 😢 I am in a clothing funk! Finding clothes that are fun and what I want to wear and age appropriate is just HARD!! Haha xx

I’m a mom of a 7mo old and been trying to resolve my diastasis recti recently. I still look very pregnant from the ab separation. I know you’ve mentioned your “mum tum” in the past, did you ever end up getting evaluated/go to physical therapy for it? I’d be so interested!!! I’m struggling with my body, size and what I wear I have started the pre menopause so it’s all to much. I have started doing my exercise bike…. I prefer summer clothes … you look wonderful in whatever you wear xx

i have autism and i would recommend watching Christine mcginness’ documentary on autism and the book unmasking autism. seeing how you relate to autism as a women and a mother is really important because that is definitely not the stereotype present to people❤️
My sister is also autistic but classes as moderate to severe and she was only diagnoses late at 13 which was wild to us as a family as she was soo obviously developmentally behind... she's almost non verbal and yet they missed it for so long
This goes for everyone but Please don’t change your style just to be trendy everyone has a different style personality and that’s okay x
About H&M - I've been seeing a lot of people talk about how they're noticing clothing stores/sizes & the models they're hiring shifting away from actual Plus Size to smaller.

I think I know what brand you’re talking about it and I’m really glad you’ve addressed it. It’s always felt a bit icky to me when you were involved with them and then it all just stopped with no other info on why and now it makes perfect sense x

re: clothes chat, 1) have you tried getting your clothing custom made? like, going to a tailor and saying "these are the kinds of silhouettes, details, and fabrics, i like, could you please whip up something that is (literally) tailor-made for me, my body, and my preferences?" it's a bit more expensive to be sure, but you seem like you could afford at least a few pieces easily, and i feel like something like that can do wonders for one's self esteem!
and 2) on the h&m website, have you tried filtering by your size? that way everything you see should, indeed, be something you could wear. (i do this a lot with filtering by XL because even though it's kind of one of the "standard" sizes, a lot of clothes only go up to an L, and i Do Not want to have that shopping experience on the regular, thank you
