This is an excellent starting point if you're thinking about getting into hoyas! Very hardy and forgiving. Only word of warning is keep it warm. It doesn't like chills & cold drafts at all. When you can get it to thrive you're more than ready to tackle hoyas.

These are such an interesting plant, and since they are in the same family as Hoya, I might not have too hard of a time growing one, however I have not spotted one in person as of yet, my big box stores seem to come out with some unique plants that you wouldn't normally find just anywhere. thanks for the info on this lovely plant. i bought my small hanging one from a wonderful grower, Crystal Star Nurseries (outside Toronto) a few months ago. i have a lot of new growth... she is in my East facing window, enjoying some diffused morning sun. i agree with you Summer, this one deserves a place in a plant lover’s collection.

I just ordered this variety mounted on a moss board , very cool . Tfs Can it stay just on a moss board ? I have no idea , maybe I should plant some in separate places 👍🏼
I have a large Dischidia Ruscifolia ~ Million Hearts in a 14in. pot and is almost 4 feet long (pic is from 12.2021). It hasn't been repotted in 2-3 years and I have taken a lot of cuttings. Is it possible to divide the plant into two pots because it is getting too big for the current pot? I have a hard time finding a large enough hanging planter. Or can it be potted in a coco coir basket since those are easer to find in the larger sizes?
Does anyone know if these beauties are pet safe? I suspect that since they're in the same family as hoya and ceropegia that they would be, but can't find anything confirming one way or the other!

They are poison actually but it's just the goo that comes out of it, bayse burning nauseas

there is literally no information out there on Amydrium Medium. I also have one and had a hard time finding info.
