Hello! Can I ask where did you dig up such fine eerie picture of your Research Center? Its truly enticing - the architecture, the fog, the lights - I keep staring at it and its horrifically beautifull and uneasy - like starting a horror film :D I'd really like to know where can I find it.
I'm not really in a good place right now mentally and I just stumbled across this. It gives me so much comfort. I feel like I'm in a game where I have to go on my silly little walks, cook my food, drink my tea to keep my character alive and healthy until the rain stops :) thank you!
You are being smart by doing all the activities that are good for you. "Fake it till you make it" is a helpful phrase. Go through the motions of healthy behaviors, and you will slowly recover. They use that saying in AA, but I think it would work for treating depression with behavioral therapy too.
Makes you wonder of the interior of this research center. How are its hallways? Its offices? The basement? Unsettling, yet a comfortable feeling for exploration. Exactly my daily dose of emotions I need.
You'll never find it, though. This is true middle of nowhere, US. Probably lots of cloud seeding happening around the clock, too. They'll tell you it is to keep this facility private and hard to reach, due to the constant rain and unstable terrain, but in reality they know whatever is in there needs humid weather to stay under the radar. The problem is not even they know what's in there.
And yet, as you find yourself entering the facility you quickly come to grasp that this is no ordinary research facility... but one that has housed the stem of the outbreak, the requiem for chaos... You dare venture in, finding discarded husks of people that once were... finding their remnants strewn about like confetti... you wonder... "Should I be here?"
You say that, but I would personally find the building inviting even if not for such landscape. The sheer grandeur of this massive structure which likely holds even larger quantities of human ingenuity fascinates me...

I've always had a strange longing and nostalgia for dystopian and post-apocalyptic scenes and worlds, and this taps into that feeling for me perfectly. I find myself imagining what sort of world this scene is a part of, what it's like inside the building and what sort of landscapes and other habitations lie beyond the frame of the image; what sort of culture and society exists here; how far do those mist-cloaked plains and forests extend. It seems to be a window into a living, breathing, eerie, fascinating, beautiful world. And I want to be in it. All of which is to say, amazing work! I would love to get stoned and just chill in a chair looking out a window on the far side of the complex. It'd be great to just sit there and stare out at the rain dancing around the landscape.
that's actually a really sick design. it leaves office space for documenting and going over designs. then there's an area that can potentially go deep underground, giving privacy while also limiting interference from certain subatomic particles for very sensitive experiments. then there's the top that gives security a 360 view of potential for whatever caused such heavy destruction. or perhaps the environment is toxic so the ramp leading up is for vehicles and the top portion is for parking. maybe the reason the bottom layers are not lit up is that's an area dedicated exclusively to defense incase of an incursion from the lower levels.

Stark, ethereal soundscapes that really do take you on a journey inside your mind
This has a great yearning, nostalgic mood.
can't stop listening to this, so calming
This is really nice ambience!!
Magical and calming, great work 🌖
Fun fact: If we move our cursor around on the time counter, we see that currently (2023nov19) after 19:09 the whole video is marked "most replayed" lol, I've never seen that before, but I guess it might be common with ambient music vids. Tasty composition, btw. Liked & subbed. 👍
I wish people made movies with this aesthetic
not going to lie that's the coolest building i ever seen
This gives me strong Death Stranding vibes
Ooo the droplety whisper drones at 1:45 remind me of Troum and Herbst9
In the rain-soaked twilight, the forgotten monolith whispers of a bygone era's secrets. Inside, the dimly lit corridors hum with the ghostly pulse of a once-powerful stronghold. Outside, the world moves on, oblivious to the stories etched in its concrete veins.
Randomly stumbled in here from a video on my nature ambience playlist. Nailed it, you've captured that haunting feel from so many dystopian universes that I love.
Amazing scene and sounds, put it on full screen and imagine walking around that building. tysm .. subbed :-)
"Contact with our research team has been lost a few weeks ago. We need you to go in there and find out what happened. Don't worry, there was nothing dangerous going on there. I am sure it's only a technical issue they have and we're sending you only to make sure. Good Luck and report back immediately"
Artwork of the finest...did you design the picture also?
