Yooo hope you reply to this after a year , so I'm thinking about going on a 7 day fast , doing 3 day fasts for quite a while, but i never trained muscle during them but I'm thinking of resistance training maybe twice or thrice during the fast , will that be okay , will my muscle grow or will i get injured
@@adolfTitlerr fasting is muscle sparing, and your body’s production of HGH skyrockets so as long as you maintain proper hydration and electrolytes you’ll be fine!
This actually helps explain things although I could just be wrong, nd correlation may not be causation, but what are the odds. When fasting and eating at the right times, so intermediate fasting every day and a little longer twice a week I end up with seemingly no growth in muscle strength but no loss either However, I can see bigger improvements in endurance and capabilities, health such as feeling, emotion control and skin inflammation etc. Improvements in Other small annoying factors such as breathing issues, allergy etc. Whereas when I do eat loads of Carbs nd protein every day (for that period) I end up feeling like muscles have grown slightly more quicker and bigger as well as explosively stronger but not as good doing a long cardio session or long weight resistant session, although I can hit slightly higher weights
I see your points. The days I exercise too much, I eat more carbs, the good ones and after eating go for a long walk, at least 30 minutes. Ido one hour. Muscles grow significantly bigger, can tell by looking in mirror. Muscles building, not water retention. Body builder need carbs to build muscles. But depending what carbs, not every is good. So research and don't have to fear of carbs. When you exercise, walking is best, after eating, glucose from carbs feed the muscles before going into your blood. Exercise helps reduce significantly insulin level.
I take CBD gummies at night which contains sugar for sleep, will this stop me getting fasting benefits?? I eat my dinner around 7 to 8, and skip my breakfast.
That makes it 1.2 lbs/wk. I've done OMAD and weight lifting and lost 10 lbs in 8 wks, 1.25 lbs/wk, which is a healthy way to lose weight. I'm also bulking up so I'm not necessarily only looking at weight. My waist is a better indicator.
I lost 18 lb in 28 days while fasting. But im pretty sure some muscle were lost since my calorie intake was pretty limited. Maybe my protein intake was a little bit low 🤷 i definitely feel like i lost volume in my muscle but not really strength
Fasted 7 days currently and my muscle mass has increased, and I had to increase my weights at the gym for the first time in a while.
Awesome!
@@Matthias-l7b I have a smart scale that reads all of that

Yes. Eating sugar breaks a fast.
