Yo. That margarine divorce thing tracks with the health and related mental health effects of margarine. You mess up your brain and you're sickly and inflamed and in pain with physical restrictions including the sex life. Yes. Margarine consumption can absolutely be an indicator of an overall divorce diet plan.

In my layperson's understanding most cancers primary fuel is glucose and glutamine. But for melanomas and hormonal cancers like breast and prostate cancers fat is the primary fuel.

She left out the biggest problem with the 7 counties study. It was the originally 22 countries study. Keys left out the 15 countries that disproved his theory. Places that ate a lot of fat with low amounts of heart disease, and places that had a low fat diet with high amounts of heart disease.
I may not have any credentials or have done every bit of research but I know this much. It makes no sense whatsoever to blame foods weve been eating for more or less our entire existence as a species for diseases that weve only started getting very recently in history. To put into perspective how far back human history goes, the great pyramid was constructed around the same time the last woolly mammoth died, and the Ice age ended 10s of thousands of years before that.

Ancel Keys was a physiologist, not a pathologist. The former is a study of the normal, while the latter studies the abnormal. 2. Suet is the raw fat from either beef of sheep, while tallow is the rendered fat.

By all logic people should be getting smarter due to the fact the United States banned lead in paint in 1978 and then Banned lead in gasoline in 1996. But despite this IQs in recent decades have been going down especially among Millennials and Gen Z. The reasons for this is #1 the rise of vegetarianism and Veganism. #2 The cutting of eggs & red meat out of our diets in the 1970s due to “health” concerns. #3 The fat free & low fat craze of the 1980s. No doubt we would be dumber than we are today if it wasn’t for the lead removal from gasoline and paint. But why have IQs gone down and up. That’s because all the good done by removing lead from gasoline and paint has been negated by the changes in our diet. By cutting down on eggs, meats especially red meat and fats has caused a significant reduction in protein, fats “esp” saturated fat, B vitamins, Vitamin D, Choline, Magnesium, Zine, Iron. Which are all vital for proper & healthy brain and neurological development. While it’s true you can get these nutrients through other sources such as vegetables and supplements the bioavailability is usually much lower and their quality is inferior. Take plant protein vs protein from animal sources E.g. meat, eggs and dairy plant proteins are incomplete proteins and they usually half the amount of amino acids pre gram of protein. Which means if your daily value of protein is 50 grams from an animal source you’ld need 100 grams of plant protein.

And it's working great for me, which should be no surprise since lots of research demonstrates that it is a super-healthy diet. P.S. Despite lots of misinformation on the matter on low-carb websites, seed oils are not inflammatory. The low-carb gurus seem to be conflating cooking with seed oils or eating them on. a salad on the one hand with eating highly-processed foods on the other hand.

On mostly carnivore 4 weeks in. More ketovore, blood work says A1C 5.8. Glucose in urine and blood normal. Is it normal to have that number? Ancel Keys studied 22 nations and used the data of the Seven that supported his hypothesis. Cholesterol is needed in our bodies. If your triglycerides are low and your fasting INSULIN levels are healthy, there's absolutely no evidence of cholesterol being harmful or have anything to do with eating meat.

Four years later, two other scientists expanded his study to include 22 countries, unfortunately using what they admitted was very sketchy United Nations data. Unlike what Nina Teicholz claimed, that there was no correlation, these two scientists still calculated a very high correlation coefficient. Why did Nina Teicholz lie about the 22 country study? Despite the distportions and myths spread largely on low-carb channels, Keys was an excellent researcher, the Seven Countries Study was excellent research, and NO, he did not cherry-pick the nations he studied, he chose them for sound and clearly stated reasons, and evidence from that study and decades of research since then proves that eating high levels of saturated animal fat is less heart healthy and less healthy over all then replacing it with more whole plants foods or polyunsaturated fats. What Keys missed is that this is not an either-or proposition: Both lots of added sugar and lots of saturated animal fat promote higher rates of heart disease compared to eating healthier alternatives. Keys studied 22 nations, then cherry picked the data that supported his hypothesis. Curiously two nations who eat the highest fat per person, Italy and France were not one of the 7 chosen. BECAUSE his hypothesis was crap.
