One very crucial thing about the Pikachu virus that wasn't mentioned is that the code to wipe the hard drive was coded incorrectly, and Windows gives the user a yes/no prompt asking the user to wipe their hard drive, to which they can select "no" and the virus's destruction is completely negated.

This is weirdly nostalgic for me. When I was little I'd hear horror stories in the playground about these viruses and I played them off as just stories until I saw a segment on the news about computer viruses and had a stomach dropping moment of 'Wait, THEY'RE REAL?!' and little me was constantly terrified to download anything. Stuff like this fascinates me and it saddens me that nowadays it's all boring 'Steal your info' viruses.
The "weird animation of a door 6:26 " is the Resident Evil REmake door animation followed by Lisa from P.T.
And pacman offering crack is from a Bloodhound Gang song I don't remember off the top of my head which is prolly why UA-cam threw a fit, copyright and all that

I'm gonna guess that the reason UA-cam didn't like you using the original audio from that Pac-Man virus was because it originated from the song "Mope" by the Bloodhound Gang, and it went on long enough to trigger UA-cam's copyright protection.

I remember accidentally getting viruses on my grandparents pcs looking for games to play. When I was little. I mostly looked for sonic and Pokemon games and clicking on random game websites not meaning to break the pcs. The only game I remember downloading was a sonic adventure dx game that made it to were none of the interent browsers work. Firefox chrome and Internet explorer wouldn't open and work so my uncle and grandpa had to work on it and they got it to work again but told me to not download any more games. I think I deleted the game after that because PC viruses scare me. I just wanted to play games I didn't mean to break it. Don't ask me what websites I went on because I can't remember now
So the origin of the pac man smoking crack comes from a song from band blood hound gang called mope where the words come from, but the video in the virus is from the funny video with 3d pac

i had nightmares about getting a virus on our old XP machine and they played out literally how Windows XP horror edition played out. If i actually got a virus like that back then trying to download roblox or a fake limewire i never would touch a computer again. the PS2 disc read error is still the scariest thing to me though.
