The touhou ransomware was actually made as a joke, the creator actually accidentally got himself afflicted with it and so he also published decryption keys for it

The easiest Touhou games are 7 and 8 in my opinion. A good way to get better at Touhou is to simply play Reimu to learn positioning, use bombs, learn to graze, deathbomb, and simply memorize attack patterns. Easier said than done, but, I believe in you!!!

@@ultra_9861 8 is easier than 6. 6 you can't see the hitbox + Sakuya's gimmick requires reading and memorization, as well as Patchouli's non-spells may be hard because the lasers guide you to the bullets. 8 does have Mystia's gimmick as well as Reisan's. 8 also has better practice because it gives you more lives, though.

No, trust me. The moment you hit stage 4 with Murasa's final, you'll want to quit the game. It's basically an even tougher version of Yukari / Ran's "Princess Tenko" attack that goes faster and is more brutal. It gets worse from there.

@@ToadBupOnly Touhou games I ever played, was two of the spinoff games. One being Luna Nights. Did I ever beat a Touhou game in any form? Absolutely not. Even with the time powers you have access to in Luna Nights I could not beat it.

a friend actualy put some touhou ransomware on my laptop once as a joke.
he did not know i had alr done like 8 different 1cc runs on lunatic on touhou 12.
his face when he saw i had gotten the ransomware off my computer within abt 3 hours.

iirc you can get to 2 milions by stage 3-4 in UFO (the 2hu game required to play for rensenware) if you manage the ufos well enough (also playing in lunatic mode gives you a lot of points so it's not too bad as long as you git gud)

or most games with StarForce DRM. Imagine getting your first legit PC game (like when you're teenager and every dollar counts) and you get a game that works maybe once and then DRM give you BSoD every time. And it can get only worse...

Fun fact, Touhou 1 and Undertale are 18 years apart in release dates. If we go from Touhou 6, which was the start of the windows era, and a kind of soft reboot, that’s still 13 years apart.

Bro I shit u not, I did the same thing as a kid. Illegally downloaded Minecraft Java 1.8 for free. Within a month the family laptop was fried beyond repair. Whatever malware I put on there absolutely demolished the hardware even, the computer couldn’t cool itself down fast enough and started melting inside… But Ayy, I got free Minecraft and it actually worked. So in the end ig it was worth it 🤣🤣
