This guy here...when the Universe brought him to me I was jobless, suicidal, and if not bad enough that I was living with my Mom, I was being kicked out. My life was completely empty. I’d lost my spiritual base, my circle of friends had dwindled down to what felt like nothingness, and I was full of shame of everything about who I was. I’m one of those people that made him shed tears at the end of this clip. [i haven’t met him yet,] I’m one of the ones that really listened to his wisdom on how to piece together my soul. Now I’ve just opened a beauty business, I treasure the few friends I have and i came to realize that I am cared for by many more than I thought, and there is so much in life to be grateful for. I have a purpose, Me being here matters. We all matter to each other even when we don’t realize it. I’m still listening and I’m more appreciative of all the little things than I’ve ever been. I look forward to what is to come, and to meeting someone I can binge on Jordan Peterson’s videos with!

Jordan is a great man. He is almost too smart for his own good. Many times he has said that he is prone to depression. With depression comes the tendency to cry very easily. I see that in many of his talks. I feel that the benzo addiction that has been reported is only part of his difficulty. Depression is a big part.

He's intense he lectures like that because he really cares and he gets undue criticism which is hard on him too sometimes but since he knows he is supposed to be helping he neglects his own need for support sometimes. Wish we could do more for him.

I think he is fine being criticized it only affirms the opponent is listening and got the message but is struggling with accepting for now. It’s great because he isn’t here to argue but make mindful so how others react is not his problem but glad you get noticed for them. Not him. Also I hope he will play more with kids. That will help him lighten his deepness.

I was in a 17 year relationship with a narcissist. He had an affair with my twin for 17 years of the relationship and I didn't find out until the end. It was hard but I forgave them and I went from being codependent, depressive, and agoraphobic to independent, confident, happy, and self reliant in 2 years. This guy has helped. Meditation and water fasting has also helped. It is possible to recreate yourself but the hardest part is letting go of the old self. Embrace the change don't fear it! The old self was not serving me or helping me. I am finally happy and healthy. Changing my self talk and my paradigm was difficult, changing my friend circle was hard. But I'm so glad I changed. My ex was abusive on every level and even broke my nose twice and fractured my skull leading to severe migraines at a rate of 7 per month, but now that I'm away from him the migraines have gone down to 1 per month and some months zero! Yay. I'm just so happy to be away from him.

The awesome thing about this David is it seems to me to be exactly what he is talking about as far as moving forward beyond ways of thinking to better ourselves. I think it is a lower level of consciousness to simply think there are two political sides and that everyone on your side is correct and everyone not on your side is incorrect vice versa, and unfortunately the media seems to in many ways be trapped in this lower level of consciousness, however if we truly want to reach our full potential as people we really need to move beyond this way of thinking.

Our brain has two sides. They are two separated entities connected by neural fibers. The left side is the dominant, the right one is the passive one. But we are two minds in one. When medical trials to stop epilepsy tried cutting off the connection between the two sides of our brain, very bizarre but telling consequences happened. Both sides of the body started to act separately as if controlled by different people. Meaning, each side of the brain started controling the opposite side of the body and acting in some weird ways.
When you drunk or on drugs, your less dominant side comes to surface, that's why we behave so reckless. While when we are on our day to day grind, our racional side is in charge, but our other self is repressed.
The balance of racional and spiritual is essential for a balanced life where both sides of you can express themselves and coexist in harmony.
    Bless you all

Ahhhhh, I've listened to him now for about 3 years but really got into him just maybe 4-6 months ago I was very sceptical in the beginning, without really listening to him I simply assumed he was overrated. But no. No. Not at all. I am actually now gonna print out a picture of this man's face and pin it on my wall, and I am really not the type of person to do such things usually.

He is helping in a way that doesnt make people dependent on him... something different than average psychologists and friends in general! :) true help is when you offer what you know in a clear way so the other person can take it as they want, and take that self responsibility they have in them to create the life they want :)

Jordan Peterson is speaking the truth that’s why so many people are drawn to him. I think if I found him earlier I wouldn’t became an atheist... I love him so much, it kinda sad that I’m atheist and he’s not lol I would like to be like him in many ways. Really admire him as an intellectual. Get well soon Dr.Peterson

And in turn my father bought his book.

Jordan , I have to say , I’ve recently died and come back to life after living a life of pure sin. Since having you in my life , my understanding of the scriptures is so much better , my understanding of life itself and the outlook I have has changed. You bring a tear to my eye every time I listen to you. You are absolutely the MOST gifted man I have ever come across in this life. God has blessed you my brother ! I love you ❤️🌟⚡️🙌🙏🤩

I have a picture of my late father on the wall next to my computer screen and as Jordan talks I look at my Dad and imagine him hearing this, too. I loved my Dad but he was so clueless about so much. He learned as he aged but he still had a long way to go when he died. He wouldn't have liked Jordan, because his framework was rigid as a means of protecting a very sensitive nature in a religious culture that was savage in a lot of ways. He couldn't see a way out of that culture because it also served him. He would have responded with furious defense to Jordan's assaults on his rigid framework. But I have always imagined that people can somehow be more wise after death. And in this particular picture of my father, here on the wall, he was in a playful, confident, open and loving frame of mind.

"When ppl share good news about their lives, ppl don't necessarily respond positively, they don't get encouragement, and ppl need so LITTLE encouragement, it's just unbelievable..."
    What a sad indictment.
