I’m 80% red meat 20% fruit daily. This all started feb 2024. I was 196lbs 5’9” 52 year old male. I now weigh 159 and feel amazing. Inflammation gone, brain function excellent, anxiety pretty much gone. I did full carnivore for about 2 months but added fruit. Seems to work for me. I workout daily and feel like I’m 35 again

I’m going to give Dr. Gundry credit. He looks great for 74 years old. I look at all the diet/nutrition gurus to see how they’ve aged. I’d like to know how much protein we actually need. How much fiber is optimal? Maximum fat intake? I think wild blueberries are a superfood and many gurus agree.
Yes they have fructose but they are a whole food.
I feel like over the years I’ve eliminated my bad foods from my diet that it’s hard to make more cuts. I’ve read Gundrys books. When you eliminate alcohol, sugar, grains, pork and some processed foods. So there’s chicken, fish, little beef, fermented dairy and fermented vegetables. Please put together a perfected ultimate human nutrition plan. Instead of a die t. Alive it!

@kevdaws6900 what iv noticed is I don't run out of energy... I only eat animal based foods and utilise animal fat as my energy.
Never a day without energy ,some days I will have a steady stream of high energy and some days slightly less which I put down to the quality of the fat iv consumed. My point is , use your fat as energy not carbs.. carbs are up and down but fat, well it's a fuel you could run on for days without needing to fill up

As usual, unless you’re inside of Gundry’s paywall, he shares nothing about what to eat and avoid. He does mention numerous times though what a wonderful, famous heart surgeon he is and lectins bad. No food or supplement recommendations the entire show. Was asked which vegetables are good and bad, but deflected that. Didn’t learn a single thing from him as he didn’t share anything. Completely useless episode, just like Gundry’s podcast.

I can see how you would come to that conclusion, but I've read all of his books, and he gives alternatives to his own products and names of stores where you can buy them. He has said he started the supplement company because patients kept suggesting it for ease of use. Having the five supplements for a health issue in one product is more convenient for his patients. I think he genuinely wants to help people and enjoys formulation, so he probably takes pride in his products. His marketing team does make him out to seem like a salesman; I agree about the perception. However, perception isn't always the whole truth.

Been carnivore (red meat only) for quite some time; wife has been AIP/paleo for years. We were still experiencing some inflammation soreness and fatigue, what we’ve attributed to histamine issues, but were at a loss, having been eating cleanly for so long. We were taking fermented daily multivitamins, and vitamin D & C supplements. However, when we removed all of the extra vitamins, the inflammation seemed to go away. Are we sorely mistaken, blaming our inflammation and/or histamine issues on these vitamins? Has anyone ever heard of such a thing?

Logical fallacy (argument from popularity). Billions of people also eat bread. Millions of Americans eat processed “health” bars. Popularity doesn’t mean good (and we can definitely apply this logic to music 😂).

Gary, so disappointed you would choose to have Dr Gundry on your show. Just as I had really learned to respect you! He speaks in generalities and never really gives any truly specific information to help anyone. He is nothing more than a salesman hawking his wares. This show was a waste of time.

Dr. Gundry was so evasive and mentioned so much unbacked information in Dr. Mike's interview. Claiming correlations in Blue Zone as possible causation. Also constantly contradicting himself and what he has stated in his work. I'd be careful to take information from anyone who speaks with such certainty. The western model of health and medicine is broken. We've lost sight of what's truly food. I recommend looking into GAPS and no-plants GAPS for anyone who really suffer and struggle to heal..

I am disliking this video and might block this channel. I am 20 minutes in and the guy keeps talking about magic supplements that you can buy off in the stores but wont mention a single name. He claims it will save lives. But I have no doubt he wants you to pay him money at his website. The guy is a fraud and crook.
