That was good ADM on their part. Even though it turned out to be an easy/no issues pass if they weren't comfortable with it, then they made the right decision. I say the same about the bike. Ride your ride. Better to be safe than sorry. Live to fly another day.
Looked away for 2 minutes and come back to Caitlin Jenner talking. Scroll back a little bit and see Wee Man. I thought I ended up in a Jackass video or something I was so confused.
Forget the haters Trent! They obviously don’t get pilot jargon. I for one thoroughly enjoy your videos and how much you promote each pilot flying within their own comfort level. The minute you push someone beyond that and it goes bad, you live with being partially responsible even though indirectly. You have a wise outlook. I appreciate your candor too in saying “The Flying Cowboys” story isn’t yours to tell. Again a fair take on things. Keep up the good work and content! Stay safe Bro! 🤠👍
Wow! You guys let a lady into the group! I think Caitlin had her shirt on backwards. Trent, your flying is amazing! How you can wiggle your wings or get bumped around but when it comes time to float your plane, your laser focused, plane straightens out and boom! You’re on the ground. Just crazzzzzy!
In one of your videos can you take a moment to address what happened to the “flying cowboys”? It just kind of stopped, Cory Robin seemed to have gone through some tough times and fell off the face of the earth. It’s just odd that it was such a “thing” and now no one even mentions it anymore…
I was watching Mike Patey's latest vid on his crazy house, and was thinking the same thing. He was kind of the glue that held it together, and it all faded away after the Draco accident. Scrappy took all his attention. Trent and the rest of these boys have got a great thing going on here tho. Just loving this camping/flying thing!
And the friend that crashed( Nick ?) and asked for donations to get a new plane.... and was going to engrave all those names that donated on a part of that new plane... 🤔 Hmmm.
I laugh every time someone brings up the Nick charity scam… called that one while it was happening.. Think Trent should start a GoFund to repay all the fools that donated… let a new group of fools feel the burn 😂
Again Ty is great. Gawd I need to new friends. Keep em coming. Come fly in BC. Love to join up with you guys. Can’t wait for the pod cast. See you next time
Greatest motorsport ever invented and you make it obvious why. Endless thanks for sharing this aspect of your life. Not flying anymore but I'd be there with all of you if I could.
You know it’s good when you get double comments. Great flying. Gorgeous content. Amazing group of Aviators. Love the ADM discussion and then your “lost wingman” were brave enough to make there own decisions and that you and Tai supported it. Blue sky’s!!
wow it was a great flight trip with the gang. the super drone with your plane and your friends was super cool. Thank you for surprising us again with an extra quality video with breathtaking shots. From my part of Quebec, travel carefully for a long time. thank you to your friends
This video speaks to my soul. Spent many years on the central coast of CA - Santa Ynez, Morro Bay, Slo, Paso - it's the most beautiful place. Close to check ride for PPL can't wait to fly back there!
This video had so many surprises. Epic! Cant wait for some river fishing/camping vids. Would love to see some more of the land based action on those trips
At 75 YO, with 58 years of flying experience, 20 in military flying. I have lost many friends who died in aircraft “accidents”, none in combat BTW. My first grass strip landing was at Columbia. It was the day after I got my Private Pilot Certificate and my flying club had a fly-in. I flew there often for pizza or goofing off in town.
Watching you pump the stick on landings reminded me of a few students that came to me from other instructors or just formed that bad habit on their own. Tough habit to break. But a must!
It took time for me to realize that I should not push other people into situations I was comfortable with, and they were not. We were kayaking a class IV river. When we got to Road Block I ran it, but carl wanted to look at it again. I told him it was the same, just run it. He did and ended up in a hole and swimming. That made me realize that I was comfortable with running the rapid, but he had reservations. I changed my attitude and never pushed others to do what they were not comfortable with.
Hey Trent! I just missed you at Columbia airport, I thought I recognized the plane but didn’t think to get a closer look. Hope to catch you the next time you’re out here, been watching for years! Safe flying!
It is still spring... after a wet winter. I don't know just when they filmed this, but now it's May and things are starting to dry out. Los Angeles County coast has been a fairly solid "May gray" for the past couple weeks or more. Aside from the concrete jungle effect, the weather isn't the best for flying. I expect up in the Coast Ranges things are a bit different, though.
an other nice vidéo, Trent. And you know what’s special about your Videos? You give all of your videos such a good, human, normal, healthy feel. You’re a good man and that cones through in your work as a cameraman, moderator and editor.
Trent that was a great explanation on how pilots need to stay within their comfort zone. It's the same with airline guys except the gap is closer. Nice video, again.
I don't know what to say, there's so many good compliments about so much of this trip and I really enjoyed this video, will be looking forward to the next offering. Thanks so very much for sharing I really appreciate it!😂 👍🇺🇲
I said something similar on the previous video. It's obvious because of the enormous amount of time (mostly bug spraying) he spends in the air that he has achieved a level of comfort and mastery beyond most of his fellow bush pilots. But is there a point where a line is crossed? I hope not.
Very interesting watching Tye fly. He definitely has developed impressive skills ag flying and uses them, but he also seems to have a hard stop on certain risks as well.
Well,I think it was good, everyone was responsible for his own decision and ended up safely. That must be the very aviators’ way, especially regarding bush/backcountry flights.
Stunning cinematic Trent, what a wonderful episode ❤️ 🎉. Opening scene my first thought was from a baseball movie "If you build it THEY WILL COME" Seeing all the planes in the hanger was really nice. CHEERS AND SAFE TRAVELS Steve h
Intelligent people using common sense. Wow, such a rare thing in today's world. Living another day to play some more. Great video, good people. Thank you.
WOW! Thanks for taking us along. Great flying adventure with sooo many flavors (contour flying, FPV drone, celebs, politics, weather, great food and camping). Fab! Want more...BTW, is water skiing legal again now?
Figures, you finally drop into Columbia, and Im not working there anymore! Darn it! Thats what i get for taking a job with Siller Helicopters! Great video, Trent! One day, ill meet you!
I get your point about leading the way and being able to confirm conditions…yet if they had the fuel to explore other options to choose the least amount of risk for their personal (and that of their aircraft’s) metrics/priorities/skillsets/confidence/etc. lessons for all to be had and maybe some were pushed passed their comfort zone which is usually where the most growth occurs. AWESOME video… going to go check out the other videographers channel and footage. ✌️ and ❤️

Very cool that they road their ride and didn't get sucked into something they were not comfortable with. Managing risk is a skill worth having.
Hahaha this video felt like a fever dream seeing wee man on a pitbike then Caitlin Jenner shows up hahaha love it
Freaky boo teeky ?🤷🏿♂️🙈🌈🤪
Was kinda surprised when it really was wee man!
I thought the Caitlin Jenner thing was a gag for a second.

Ty is not only a great pilot, but he literally seems like a really good dude.
This was one of your best! Thanks man! Piloting is on my bucket list because of your vids!

Cool to see Wee Man. That dtone chase footage was pretty cool too.
One of your best vids yet! I was enthralled start to finish. Love the air to air shots! THX!

Trent when you left the dinner . The right wheel locked up immediately after you left the ground !
He probably hit the brakes to stop the wheel spin.
@@offroadranger6 I thought that but the other wheel never slowed .
@@WreckerCentral could be, if his brakes are independent, that he only tapped the right brake hard enough to stop it.

Rough air & choppy approaches -- some call it, "white knuckling," others (me) call it, "squeezing the black outta the stick."
