Hey thank you for making this video. You just saved me and my wife. Our 2014 Nissan Rogue broke down due to an oil change place not reinstalling the air filter correctly. We broke down in the middle of nowhere in South Dakota outside the badlands. With this video I was able to get us back on the road. Thank you so much. Seriously.❤
Great info and I thank you. One question, can you spray to the connector that plug into the mass flow as well? You know, just to keep it clean? Thanks!
@@RBTheMechanic shoot... okay that's fine I have some low idle and vibration at stops. I'll clean the mass airflow sensor and the throttle body see if it works. Wish me luck 😅
@@jbryansoto once u clean it up if u get check engine or speed it too high or it act up I do have few tricks to fix that try it first if it’s good nothing to worry about other wise let me know
I'm hoping you can help me here, I have a 2013 nissan rogue 2.5l sv/sl. I had to change my step motor on the valve body it's the code it threw. I can drive but it sometimes take a bit to take off, but in reverse it has like no power. Then I hooked up my neighbors snap on scanner that's gets deeper into transmission codes, and it gave me a crankshaft position sensor code along with the step motor. I reset both to see if they will come back but they don't. But I wanna know what is causing the sluggish affect in reverse especially over a little hill at the end of my driveway. Should I replace the crankshaft sensor? Will that cause the sluggishness in reverse and drive?
@@RBTheMechanic yeah I have fresh fluid, brand new filter and everything in it. But there is another filter I guess on the top side of the transmission. I got a different scan tool and now get a code saying that it has low pressure.
Late comment, but did you ever get this figured out? I’m having the same issue in my 16 rogue only the slip indicator light comes on as well while driving
I don’t have video on that but u need tot ale the duct pipe off and then see if throttle opens with key on accessiries and push gas peddle to open the flap engine off and u can clean it how ever u will get idle rpm code with check engine and u will need to relearn idle
does it need to be reset by the code.machine or will it reset itself ? looking for a reply as I did follow all you instructions this morning, ty vm I appreciate you very much !
I'm having a problem with my 2008 Nissan Rogue , first it gave me code P0301 , we changed the coil, cleared the code and everything was fine for couple of hours , then again it gave another code same but it was P0302, it was the second coil. Any idea of why this would happen ?

I think this might be transmission related. I would check fluid but I could be wrong it seems like weak transmission

@@kingdon9690 not sure bro I’m not super smart at transmission but did u do the sensors u said earlier
P0171 I got this code on the same car on this video what do you think it is?
U have to clean the sensor first if it work out good if not replace it
I'll give it a try thanks
My car moves slow on acceleration after a full stop and then it surges forward. It also revs high. Could it be my maf sensor?
It might be related to transmission going bad

Found out transmission was shot. 5 year old car. Got rid of it last year

Clean out ur maf sensor or replace it I would clean it first the rest the light and hope it don’t come back
I have code 0841 on a 2015 Nissan Rogue Help?
That code is related to transmission pressure it could be fluid or pressure sensor

3 minutes job. 7 minutes speaking. 😢
Ok!!! Need to explain! Yes talking is important and required and job is 1 minute not 3
Just replace the sensor with a new one don't be a Micky Mouse mechanic
