Thank you for this video! My 2012 has been having major idling issues and I couldn’t figure out why. I had no idea about the throttle body build up. Going to clean it up and see if it works.

Thanks for the video. For me the maf acts up in the cold weather. During warm months no issues. Once it gets cold I get the p0101. I'll swap out the maf and clean up the throttle body as well.

Hello my friend Ah Duuu, excellent video and thank you very much. I have a 2013 Nissan Altima s. The same code P0101, I changed the original sensor and Nissan dealership also told me that I had to replace the PCV valve, air filter but it still has the engine light on, what I have not cleaned is the throttle body, the question is? How to calibrate the throttle body again

After you replace the parts, clear the check engine light. If you did not touch the throttle body then you dont need to do the idle relearn. Idle recalibrate using the scanner. You can try to do it manually, as i show the steps procedure in the end of the video.

Hello, I have a 2020 Nissan Altima SR. I have P0101 error code. If replace the MAF sensor, do I need to reprogram the the system? Thanks for sharing your videos. Very helpful!

No one reply to your comment. LOL. My guess is if after replacing the MAF and your car ran and drive without issue then, I wouldn't worry about it.

You might have to relearn the idle air control after youve clean the throttle body and replace mass air flow sensor. If you dont have a scanner to relearn it. Let the car idle for 15mins and take it on a 15mins test drive.

Excellent video. I have a question for you. I have a 2012 Rogue with a MAF problem p01 01 code. The Nissan dealer replaced the MAF. I replaced the air cleaner. I did not replace the PCV valve yet. The dealer I go to tells me they cannot fix the problem any more than they have because they do not have a Master Technician??? I am going to have to travel a ways to get a dealer with a Master Technician. The engine light has gone on twice now. It is supposedly fixed now. If not and the light goes on again and the car seems to run fine I want to turn off the engine light. I purchased a Walmart Hyper Tough HT 100 code reader. It is not much on instructions. It connects with your phone via Blue Tooth to give an explanation of the code. I do not need an explanation and I just want to turn off the engine light. My question is, do I have to use the Blue Tooth feature with the HT 100 or can I just plug it to the plug in the car, turn the ignition to on, read the code, and push the red button to clear the code??
    Thank you, Tom Spero

I have never use a bluetooth code reader to clear code. You could have ask autozone or oreilly to clear the check engine light for free. As far as the code p0101, after replaced the maf sensor, the computer (ecm) needs to be refresh or reprogram.

Hi guys sorry for this long message but i really need some help! I have a 2011 Nissan Maxima. Lately it has been jumping sometimes when stepping on the gas and having acceleration issues. The RPM is under 1 and it keeps making a jumping engine noise that sounds like vrmmm, vrmmm, vrmm, vrmm. Autozone used the diagnostics tool and said it was the mass air flow sensor. I bought a new one, mechanic installed it today and it's still having the same problem. When i turn the ceiling lights on they blink in unison with the vrmmm, vrmmm sound. My mechanic used his diagnostics tool and said the mass air flow sensor still came up even though he replaced it. He said another code came up "Bank 1 P-0101" this one. He watched a youtube video and said the gas is too rich? Whatever that means. He told me it needs to be taken to a shop to be put on a lift. He said he thinks the issue is behind the engine air intake hose. Anyone familiar with this problem and can give a resolution? I would truly appreciate it. I just spent $640 on a new alternator and a wire kit, then a week later $240 to fix some antifreeze leaking under the hood, then 2 days later this happens smh. This car is really getting on my nerves. Also if amyone can tell me by driving it with this current issue, can i make it any worse? Like will i cause further damage to my car? Should i just get this fixed right away and try not driving it?

Hi! I changed my MAF sensor on my 2020 Nissan Versa the other day with a new sensor I order online, but when I try to start the car, it just cranks and will not start. Does this mean, my new MAF sensor is bad? I tried a few times and still won't start so I put my old MAF sensor back and my car start again. It is an aftermarket MAF sensor...I email the seller, and they want to return and get a refund, but they just gave me my 21$ refunds. What is your suggestion?? Thanks!

DO NOT BUY AFTERMARKET PART. Buy OEM only. Some aftermarket part is fake, doesn’t work. Real original part cost around $200 or more. Dont waste money and time buying aftermarket. Buy original and put it in. If you have more problems let me know.

If you don't have a scanner to relearn it. You can try turn the engine on, let it idle for 10 minutes, then rev up to 1,500rpm hold it for 15sec. Repeat the step 2 3x and if it doesn't work then you need scanner to relearn it.
