I understand your remarks about the design, but I, personally, disagree that it needs to be flashier and that much different than the rest of their lineup. I like the understated look of the ET9. I don't just like it actually, I think it's gorgeous. It is harmonious, full of technology and comfort features, while at the same time not screaming 'Look at me, I'm rich!' In my eyes, it shows humility, but confidence; premium-ness, but not arrogance; leading technological features, but not flashy gimmicks blinking in your face. IMHO, everything about it looks beautiful, tasteful and classy. I admire NIO for the way they are positioning themselves and how they seem to be paving their own tracks, ignoring superfluous noise. I really hope the market appreciates the ET9 it as much as I do. I would be a bit sad if it doesn't.
Oooh I’m in love with it from the first sight 😍😍😍 I looks monumental💪💪💪 It’s been a long time since the exterior of modern cars didn’t fascinate me as much used to, until ET9 appeared!!!🤟😎🤟
The ET9 is a solid product; I really like the design, but it definitely doesn't stand out compared to ET5. I do like the suspension tech, the steer-by-wire advances, and (of course) the autonomy tech. Very solid!
i like ET9. Unlike other flagships this one can be driven by the Owner or chauffeur, whatever suits ... the tech is the key here and will trickle down to other models ...
I like your channel. Good production values, set design and a modern take on car reviews and commentary. It’s always good to get English speaking commentary on the Chinese EV scene. Thank you for your hard work
The thing that really made me pay attention to Nio was that all the reviewers measured the ET7 to have the best noise isolation on the market. That is very impressive to beat Mercedes, BMW etc. I would definitely consider an ET9 if I was rich.
I believe NIO have considered the car design relative to its current lineup models deliberately, and anticipated such critic reviews on the similar look of their current line up. While this is good feedback and observations of what can be improved upon, I have no doubt that NIO will deliver on body style design appeal that is fitting for their future et9 models. Also, I believe the first et9 model is a teaser of what is to come in the future, and to set the technology benchmark on a whole new level of technological innovations, and to showcase what NIO's R&D is capable of. Blue Sky Coming!
I live in a city so I prefer smaller cars that are easier to find parking spaces for. My dream vehicle would be something with the size of a Honda Jazz, but with the comfort, design and sound insulation of a high end Nio.
NIO needs more marketing comparing their models with BMW, Mercedes, Audi, everything else is in a lower category or in a very different prestige level.
This is a Chinese market car. There is a small U.S. market for its current rendition. If it was made into a Suburban/Escalade ev competitor it would be #1, just for having the best riding suspension in the world.
@@solkels_z4794 Need to see it in real life. ES8 looks very similar to ES6 on the screen, but in real life, it looks more elegent due to its size and sleek bodyline.
I wonder how many positive comments had to be posted on this video from the Chinese people so the government doesn’t lower their social credit score. 😂😂😂
It's hilarious that you don't know the fact how far ahead Chinese EV companies are in terms of technology. Many European and foreign automakers are buying or using EV platforms, batteries and ev technology from Chinese companies 😂 When it comes to the EV era china absolutely dominates.

Naaaa, I'll keep my large full size luxurious Jaguar XJl. I fuel up once a month, (once a month) and takes me 3 to 5 minutes depending on wether or not i run in and grab a coffee and not 20 minutes or 20 hours. Range is 570 miles, not 250 to 350 miles and at 41 thousand dollars, its paid off. Add these fine qualities and improvements to the EV, now we're talkin!!! I'll buy one immediately!!!!
I don't think you get the picture. Nio has swappable battery tech; It takes about 5 minutes to swap a battery and costs around 13 euro with a range of over 500 miles. no offence Jags are just unreliable money pits.
@@ahmadahmal2942 my costs are minimum. You must live in Europe. Your gas prices in the dollar is over 5 dollars a gallon. Here in Pennsylvania, Lancaster county, USA gas prices are just ove 3 dollars. 40 to 50 bucks a month for gas. The Nio has a range of 500 miles? Well hey, that's great!! Goes to show you that maybe EVs are finally improving. But at 570 miles of range, I'll keep my jaguar. If you call any car that faithfully gets you everywhere you need to go, far or near, unreliable? Then you have alot to learn about many. One day I'll get an EV when they are improved....

Obviously it is the most beautiful, advanced, appealing EV car in the market...once available next year

Very stylish and clean, pure class, well done Nio
atleast they should add the two tone exterior, that should differentiate it from the lower ends Nio

My kind of car, i'll buy just because of the groundbreaking suspension tech it comes with. Bravo
waiting for launch in india
Agreed it could use some flares on the rear to differentiate it as the flagship but I got a rubber front sport lip that would fit beautifully on it.

great video, and great car!!! Truly impressed!
Is the Nio ET9 coming to Australia? I want one! Will it have V2X charging......If so it has everything I want

Yeah, and this kind of body design might be a bold exploration of what a optimal layout of an EV shoud be.
I agree should have changed exterior styling somewhat on otherwise a stunning flagship
How much

haha, it's too good to be true😆
Wow best interior I’ve ever seen
I love nio
The levels Nio is now setting are in a different dimention to Western manfacturers and brands.
Not bad but they need to get rid of the big camera and sensor bumps.

My deram car!
I disagree.. it's a lovely looking car
Available in pakistan??
Cool
It looks sleek, although yeah, too similar to the ET5.
I know it is a flagship, but the look, man, not as premium or eye catching or menacing
Name a better competitor
@@arminius6506 noone, tbh, at this price point,

Very interesting suspension tech. Looks are fine but look generated by AI after sampling the UK, Germany and, of course, US.

Looks nice but the front of it does not say Luxury to me.
Car full class battery thinking mark

@Mbaek, why not?
Your comment makes no sense.
Price 😆
I disagree. now all nio byers can feel that they are a part of the eco system. hopefully the suspension trickles down the stack.
