That's if we are lucky enough to get it given our market is so small.... I do like it and the value proposition if it can come in around the 60-70k mark it will take a lot of market share away from the KN, JP & Euro
not only cars, also military technology and many other technology. in China we are joking they must have found something from the far side of the moon😁
China's auto sales have remained the world's largest single market since 2009, which is 15 years ago. Do you know it? In 2023, its sales volume was almost the sum of the US, Japan, and Europe. The Chinese market is open to American, Japanese, and European auto giants with almost no restrictions. The market competition intensity is the highest in the world. The product competitiveness of Chinese brands that can survive and grow rapidly is self-evident. You don't know it just because the mainstream media in Europe and the US only report negative news about China.
Because almost all automobile enterprises in China and the world have joint venture production lines, many engineering and technical personnel have been trained. Many local enterprises in China have many R&D centers in Europe, while many enterprises in China have integrated these resources and made use of China's huge market to achieve success.
15:15 I actually like this "feature" in cars, I hate over-precised steering wheels. Its so relaxing, on long trips, on the motorway to hold the wheel and not constantly having to adjust tiny bit to left or right
My Bronco Sport badlands is very good for that. It is very stable. On the highway the lane centering assist is also very useful. I was able to do 2 trip of 1700 km to Nova scotia from Quebec without too much fatigue. The seat are excellent as well and the audio surround system is very good.
The Chinese stole it from Americans. Now, the Chinese have it, and Americans don't. Or, the Chinese stole it from the WEST. Now, the Chinese have it, and the WEST doesn't. Ok, truthfully, for fact, historically speaking, the current is the second time China has exported luxury goods. For the first time, China exported porcelain or china, silk, and tea that only Western kings and queens could afford, and the Western commoners could only afford to buy what they could afford and thought that was all that Made in China.
Just yesterday, Reuters reported that some of these hard to get Chinese cars had become status symbols in many countries, especially in Middle East and Central Asia. Surprise?
I disagree. My Bronco Sport Badlands Orange cyber with the black roof is nicer i think. There are a lot of person in town or at the camping that like the style and color. The orange and the black roof make the difference. I only need to install my front deflector and a Jurassic Park sticker.. My bronco is probably more solid and reliable. It is 100% reliable after nearly 3 years of ownership (in july)
I love my baby Bronco Sport Badlands Orange with black roof. If the other try to copy it. It proves the bronco is nice. But there is good thing on this chinese car that Ford can copy back. I like the front and rear protection styling. It is longer with more rear leg room. The seat have massage and cooling system, the screen is bigger. The wheel off road should also be standard in the BS. Ford should make a hybrid with Sodium battery (NO lithium) snd put it under the seat (NOT under the floor for off road please) and the)battery should be only for start and more torque. The BS Badlands i have has already plenty of power but a very small battery (fire resistant) could increase the mpg. Make a hydraulic suspension as well and increase the towing to 4500 lbs 500 lbs hitch weight to allow tow very small off road trailer.
The exterior is going to sell in any region of the world. China knows how to make hybrid powertrains, large batteries, small turbo engines. Toyota, pioneered hybrids, but nothing exciting ever
@Speedz1980 Toyota is the company that makes the least amount of sense to me, they were so early with hybrids then just didn't really do anything special with it, they could have transitioned to having some electric cars but they just didn't despite the electric part of the Prius drivetrain for example actually being really good and now they're focusing on ammonia which is probably dead in the water already seeing as it's so toxic.
@JetsetDruid Lmao no. EV accessibility is locked behind national infrastructure development. Developing countries are in absolutely zero rush to adopt EVs, simply because they can't just yet.
Awesome review! I love this car, and the price is insane. I wish I could buy it in Canada. I gotta say, I disagree regarding the styling. I actually think this looks amazing, and nothing like the Bronco Sport. IMO, it has more similarity to a Land Rover Defender
Calling it "not a EREV" is not accurate. It has a series-parallel powertrain: series mode (EREV) at low speeds and parallel mode (traditional European PHEVs) at high speed. That's the reason why it has very high fuel efficiency when running on fuel.
you wouldn't believe the price of this monster in domestic Chinese market... it's under 240k rmb, equivalent to about 34k us dollars. insanely affordable
@Scooterzt 😂😂 You seriously believe China quality is really low. Almost everything in your home is made in China and if you find it of less quality it your business people that want it that way.

Quite interesting. Glad to hear they are still opting to put a low range gear select. To give a better crawl control. Hoping that the dual cab coming from byd will include some of those features for that price as I could see it being a very compelling case. Hoping the testing of the prototype in aus will be sufficient to ensure its bush proof.
