The pricing is definitely problematic. 4 is pricey and surprisingly slow too but turbo version is wayyy overpriced.
This is a weird time to live in, I can outrun a top model Porsche in Volvo’s cheapest car. Not because the Porsche is slow, but because cars get ridiculous amounts of power for no reason 🤣.
Also, why is it called “Turbo” there is not a single turbine in this car 😂
I kinda think the same way. I think it would be a travesty to buy the version 4 and get overtaken by the likes of volvo ex30 but on the other hand the turbo is way overpriced.
There was a time when lots of products were called turbo for no apparent reason. Turbo aftershave anyone? (the unique fragrance of combusted gasoline). Possibly still nicer than Brut 33 though.
Why why why are the EV Porsche 'Turbo' models not 'Supercharged' It would make so much sense!
I specced one up with modern tech and it’s now £90k with 11% APR and a horrific GFV of 36k which means it costs more per month than my mortgage 😂 you don’t even get a Porsche made engine. You get Chinese batteries and a motor from Bosch which makes e-bike motors 😂 which incidentally are unreliable as fuck from Bosch
As a bike mechanic i have never had to fix a bosch e bike sold from the shop I work at. And what's bad about making ebike motors? along with 1000's of other cars parts bosch has made for years.
Likely a great used buy in 3-4 years.
The gps screen looks small by todays standards, but most owners will know the way from home to the kids school so it probably doesn’t matter
WANT!
Such a small boot space for a large suv? my Q4 is bigger and ok the Q4 has no Frunk!! OMG where did you get the 1970's flares from 🙂 You obviously have a smaller der·rière than you thought 🙂
What about real range Nicky?
I’ve just dumped electric for good due to poor range ‘on the motorway’ ie less than 175 miles, price doubled on Rapid Chargers to 79p kWh (yes I know Porsche has a deal with Infinity) but…. When will you give it a real motorway range check ie at least 200 miles on the motorway @ 75mph to see if this 360+ is fairytale or not?
"The EV even EV haters will love" @ £95k a pop i very much doubt it love. Way more better options out there.
Is it not basically a audi etron with a more expensive badge.
Right, if they were in the parking lot together YOU probably couldn’t tell them apart
God no… the etron is a tank 👎
I know they were probably filmed at different times, but it feels like Nikki was pulling rank a bit here!
Poor Nicola was in a Vauxhall yesterday. Meanwhile, Nikki gets a Porsche in France.
I always assumed it was a Macan, not a macaaan.
The real problem is the EV Macan will take a HUGE hit in value just like Taycan. If it sold for $40-45k then ok...
No regen braking ? That’s surprising, leaving a benefit off. Those Porsche brakes cost a bit I bet
It does have regen braking. I suppose you just don't know the difference between regeneration and one pedal drive?
