Here's how it works the owner pulls into a recharge station where his battery gets CHANGED for a fully charged on. There are many cheaper chinese EVs with the same or more functionality. There's no point in buying a NIO in/for a country that does not have a network of battering changing stations. Overall it's a perfect quality machine, that's for sure. That's my opinion.
Its a great car. The only reason they wont beat Tesla is because Tesla started really early and Tesla is more than just a EV company. But NIO definitely will challeenge. They will be successful. They have a sub brand coming and the Battery as a Service is great (especially for those who live in apartments). It will save the grid and actually lower power cost. They also have a cell phone service coming too. They will be a giant.
They need to market other countries, that’s the main disadvantage over Tesla, once i’ll start seeing this cars around the world consistently that’s when i’ll know they made it.

I'm the ET7 owner, and 0-100 in real is around 3.6s, not 3.9s NIO claimed.
