People don't realize that those cars have the strongest carbon monocoque chassis of any road car, even some off-road, formula 1 and nascar!!! They made it safe, all highest quality materials are in it, that's why it weight is over 2 tones, batteries are heaviest, but despite how heavy it is, the car still did the lap records for EV production road car and other records for all cars...
Those cars can be driven by normal, good, great driver's!!! Even Formula 1 driver's could drive this car with a smile on their face, the car has mode's for everybody's taste...
That's why this car has that price
You've summed up all the good points of an electric car. There's like two other drive modes in the car other than the track mode. And driving it normally in the streets is almost exactly like a Tesla. Or even better. It's very smooth and fun. Imagine the exact same scenario with a petrol supercar.

fast and quick is different.
Well, 1.8s 0-60 is quick.
259mph top speed is fast.
With tuning mine does 1.3s 0-60 and 2.2s 0-100. That's VERY quick.
It also has a new top speed of 283mph. That is very fast.
Of this os thw road legal car, i would love to see what they can do with a track only one.
