Nice one, subbed!! you might want to remove your fan as he whole tutorial sounds like it was recorded outside in moderate wind :) Tip : If you make another tutorial about something else (please do) , it helps to say things like "we are now going to ... (state next small goal) and for that we will need ..( state tools/settings/parameters and values) Love Sent keep it up.

Thank you so much. This is some great feedback. I realized the fan noise was an issue when I edited…live and learn. I’m planning my next tutorial now and I’m going to heed your gracious advice! Thank you again!

Here is how to fix RAW 16 issue as well as skipping GIMP scaling step: When importing to UE, reduce 'Number of Component' by 1 and you are good to go. For example, say you export heightmap from WC with 1 meter resolution, which will give you 1024x1024 16 bit png, or raw16 file with 1024x1024 res internally. Import either of these two heightmap, and change 'Heightmap Resolution' to 1024x1024, change 'Number of Component' from 3 to 2. Voila

Just some context here in that the Z scale or height will better match World Creator if you do the math to properly set it. It might be okay to leave it at 100 for some terrains but most do not fit the default height so Unreal stretches the landscape height. For example, on one of my terrains, the math came out to setting my Z scale to only 37.9 or so and it was perfectly matched to WC terrain! Good stuff sir!!

Fantastic tutorial! thank you so much, what a great quick streamlined process. Creating visuals with beautiful landscapes is just too dang fun. Especially with UDS!

Awesome video - I very like it - but very sorry - video quality sucks - it looks like potato! Cannot see in details any menu you clicking! If you could re-upload this video and other ones if you have - in better quality - it could be even more awesome!

Do you mean an UE plugin for World Creator? I’ll definitely look into it.
