I return now with the simple memory of sitting at my brother's basketball game, crying my eyes out cause I couldn't beat this damn minigame. Since Mario is attacking with the trampoline special attack, it makes sense. Luigi has only the star ball special attack and the lunch box special attack which are completly useless in the X boss arena, so putting points in defence is a great idea but it weaken the attack

My guess is that he invested more in Luigi's speed so he could use Special Attacks more often, especially with the Jump Helmet which uses Mario's attack stat.
@@owennelson5814 Luigi usually seems to have slightly more health than Mario. And I think that's why most Mario & Luigi "All Bosses" videos are done so quickly, as the UA-camr most likely invests both Mario AND Luigi's attack stats.

I think it can be done even faster though, I reached rank 71 on all 3 characters so my speed in battle would be much higher, taking away Bowser X's ability to have a turn first and my power would be much higher too with D-Star Wear, DX Power Gloves, Daredevil Boots on Mario and either Master Wear or also D-Star Wear, DX Power Gloves, DX Power Gloves on Luigi!
