It's interesting that Bowser can't fight himself, because I can't imagine they'd specifically write code to prevent it from happening as it should never happen in gameplay anyway. I'd theorise that the player Bowser uses the same resources that the enemy Bowser uses and only one of that resource can exist at any one time, hence why it crashes.
My guess is that there's a race condition happening, where both player bowser and enemy bowser are trying to access the same block of memory/code at once
The naplock vs bros almost looks like the attack was designed with fighting them in mind. The projectiles being blocks seems like it was meant to be a hint you could jump to break them. They could rwally look like generic rocks and it would still look fine against bowser.

Others just attack where mario and luigi WOULD be, which works fine with mario and luigi, but makes it so attacks like the speedy pep-up straight up misses bowser.
The enemies that the choomba generates are not invisible if you fight in the tunnel (under cavi cape) where this enemy spawns (you would need to use a code to walk through walls to access with Mario and Luigi). I think that problem of invisible enemies is due to a problem when forcing a choomba to spawn in other place

Sometimes, when a Flifit fires a Sneed at you, there's a chance that the Sneed will stick around instead of immediately planting itself or running away.
What I really wish is that bowser could find the guy you get the last star cure from (forgot his name) and he would reveal himself as the one guiding him through the chakroads, and he would allow you to enter the depths of your mind to refight the bosses in stronger forms, THAT would be the way to fight bowser’s EX bosses, and god would it be great if you could

Regular Mechawfuls can be fought as Mario and Luigi. You can fight Dark Mawful Moles as Bowser. It rarely shows up when you fight a Mechawful and they behave like the small enemies in this video.
The fact that some things work perfectly and others don't makes me think that they were probably coding every overworld enemy to be fought by either bowser or the bros. I assume due to time constraints or feasibility they decided to block off some area's so the bros can't fight some bowser enemies and that bowser instantly beats bros overworld enemies
having just played the origional version of the game... some of these little guys can be encountered along with bigger ones, i know for a fact that bouser can fight the dark monty moles in the final area of the game as ads with mechafuls, they often run away though
Hey it's me, Italian translation guy. Seeing the Trashure reminded me of a weird thing that happens with Piranha Plant's Palutena's Guidance in Italian Ultimate. As you know it consists of listing various PP types appeared in the series... well turns out Trashure and Piranha Plorp's name are stored near each other in BIS's data so the translators fucked up and name Trashure among the Piranha Plants
Awiibo managed to get all of the Bowser bosses working as Mario & Luigi, as well as Bowser vs. himself. The game either softlocks or crashes when Mario & Luigi try to attack most of the bosses. The game crashes once Starlow tells the player to grab onto her during the Bowser vs. Bowser fight.
@jeepercreepers9 bowser has Punching and Shell, It'd likelu be full of Bowser needing to time when to Duck/Counter with Mario and Luigi's Jumps, Hammers, a few of their Special Moves, like Spin Pipe, Green Shell, Or even needing to use Goomba to punch into Mario or Luigi to distract them on Falling Star.
Trashures can be fought by the Bros, as Dimble Wood can be accessed when outside of bowser’s body. It’s only the dark trashures that can’t be fought by them.

The chaboomba's though, that's the definitely the strangest of the pack. You think they would have finished his animations instead of outright removing him considering they went and finished the bowser enemies for him as if they had plans to eject them out through the pipe yard for a star cure or something
From all the enemies that get crushed by bowser you can fight only once the metal mawful moles. There is on battle outside of peaches castle. Approaching one of those green fawful robots and a metal mawful mole spawns as well.

i know this video is like 1 year old, but you can fight the tiny enemies if you're underleveled as bowser and most of them have some impossible attacks to avoid as bowser.

There doesn´t seem to be anything that would prevent them from doing so if you get up there.

That's just one of Naplock's attacks in the original DS game, too. It's meant to be avoided because it causes the Sick effect.

Sneers can be fought by Bowser (or at least in the remake) by failing the Fliffit's seed attack and it sometimes won't grow into a Fliffit.
