RnG heaven. This is just pure luck . Sorry but thats the reality. 30 sec has been done starting with the blue button the last runs. Here you need under 32 sec definetely!
Book Bash 1:25:31
Most important here is firing the paintballs aka the fire trick. Dont spam the button. Instead hit once then hold till it pops out 3 paintballs and repeat.
First wave: try hit one at the side then fire as much as possible on top of his head.
Second wave: Start firing IMMIDIETALY after the golden book has passed. Here you do only the fire trick and go bit down on the last 3-4 balls.
Third wave: Fire trick then finish at his side. its 50/50 if its right or left side.
Good time here is under 1:28 .
Bowser`s Block party 30:56
First wave: hit the end of the wall behind him. Wait and finish when the block has tilted.
Second wave: hit as fast as possible after he has spitted out fire.
Third wave: get perfect angle to hit 3 times . Then wait for him to return and hit 2 times. Tactic discovered on the same day the TAS was uploaded.
Mostly is up the the RnG master Hexoskeleton.
And yes you will eventually get frustrated by his selfishness sooooo

I HAAAAAAATED the Piranha as a kid. That was the one boss I always had issues with. Maybe I was just bad at the game.

I despised that boss minigame, too. The third time when I had to kill that piranha plant was so damn hard. My thumb would cramp up from mashing the hell out of A.
I could never beat bowser so I gave up
I never made it past the piranha... I still haven't reached any of the other maps

The Kamek boss fight was my FAVORITE back when I had this.
I recently bought this game again and realized something. Despite probably spending hundreds of hours on it when i was younger i never made it past the first boss i could never click a fast enough to escape his wind i managed to beat it on my very first try while replaying it though lol. Also doesn't help that I had no idea how to damage him because I couldn't read so i didn't know you were supposed to grab the bombs and throw them back
I remember drybones being more complicated than that LOL

Como hispanohablantes, mi familia nunca se pasó el primer boss en modo historia porque el juego estaba en inglés y nunca supieron como se pasaba, así que siempre reiniciaban el juego luego de pasarse el primer tablero. Entonces, un día me dió por jugar (nunca había jugado) porque me dió curiosidad, entonces luego de pasarme el tablero ví el minijuego del jefe (que nunca lo había visto) y le pregunté a mi hermana cómo se pasaba, y me dijo que no se podía y que se tenía que salir y ponerlo otra vez, lo peor es que creo que sí me hizo reiniciarlo, hasta que me pasé el tablero otra vez y decidí intentar el minijuego, ví que al principio salía un texto que no entendía porque no sabía inglés, pero ví que salía el botón "b". Y bueno.. acabé descubriendo demasiado rápido lo que había que hacer y acabé presumiendo xd
De hecho, lo mismo pasó con los demás bosses que tuve que enseñarle a mi hermana cómo se pasaban porque para mí era demasiado obvio, también recuerdo que contra Kamek mi hermana nunca se lo pudo pasar pero yo sí, de hecho ni le gustaba su tablero por eso de que la estrella era aleatoria, creo que tampoco se pudo pasar a bowser. Luego recuerdo de acabar la historia me la empecé a pasar muchas veces hasta acabar desbloqueando todos los minijuegos. Por cierto, yo tenía como 7 años y mi hermana como 9, pero ni mi mamá ni mi papá sabían pasarselo. Lo único que nunca pude pasarme fue el Mario 64 de la DS xd

its funny how uneven the bosses are in difficulty. When I first played the parana plant It took me many attempts to beat, and It made me think all the others would be pretty difficult. But then the hammer bro I got it like 2 tries

You can record your playthrough and use Save States and Slowdown to get a perfect run to see how well the savestates were used.
Thanks to these strats, my PB is a 3:57.88! I would love to see a new TAS with more updated strats. Thanks for making this though, it helped me a lot getting WR. ❤️
