Your channel saves me time, money and confusion! Thank you. Do you think you can talk about sweater vests? either sleeveless vest or a layered, twofer - sweater with shirt underneath? like the Karen Kane or Ralph Lauren or Karen Scott styles I have seen. Thanks! Also, do you have the link to the faux button up blouse - the one with the collar but not the bottom.
I know this is kind of different, but could you do a video on hair? The overall effect of long hair vs short hair, updos vs wearing them down, different bang types, etc? So often I see hair videos talking about the effect on the face, but as a 5'9" woman with a short torso, broad shoulders, and short neck, I can't figure out if my long curly hair that's the same width as my shoulders helps me look longer or if I just look even boxier on top! Thanks so much for your videos, they're super helpful!
At the tender age of 50 - and a veteran of the style wars and all things fashion advice, I can hand on heart say you have single-handedly explained and taught me more about my short-torsoed body than all of them put together. Useful info I use every day - great job, thank you! 🙏🏻🌸
Last year you helped me figure out I had a short torso and changed the way I shopped for clothing. And after watching this video I now realize I have a long neck. I’m 57 and still learning how to dress my body. Thank you 😊
Thank you for this series - so looking forward to viewing the others! You are absolutely right. I've been 'analysed'; know my best colours; style; body architecture, BUT applying all that info into curating a wardrobe that works and then creating outfits that I enjoy wearing has been a challenge. I'm definitely getting better (with much guidance from your videos), but it has taken time.
This was really interesting, I hadn’t really factored my neck in. I struggle with short sleeve tops, because the sleeves end at the same level as my bust and I don’t want eyes going there!
Thanks for this! I knew some things about my body type- I’m in my sixties, I’m 5’9”, long neck, long torso, broad shoulders. I thought I was a straight type, but I’m actually an inverted triangle. In addition, I have a thicker waist and I have to cover my upper arms (long) due to aging. It gets so complicated taking it all into consideration! Tunics, while disguising muffin top, make my torso look endless. More cropped tops, while helping the proportion of my long torso, highlight the muffin top! Any advice for older women who have even more body changes, than body types? A video on this would be amazing.
Can you explain what you meant at 6:36? I really love your channel, and I want to learn as much from it as possible. This is definitely one of the best fashion channels I've seen. I'm honestly surprised it's not more popular.
Just found your channel and subscribed. I knew I was short waisted, but only found out tonight I have a short neck 😁…….Thank you for all the information. 🌻🌻🌻
Aw thanks! It can be hard to show what doesn’t work on me sometimes because I don’t keep clothes I don’t like or like how they look on me. I’m trying to hold onto things I’d normally have donated by now to illustrate points 🙃
Hi, I've watched a couple of videos you made now and I've noticed you never talk about people with average bodies. For me, I have a normal length neck, my torso and legs are pretty balanced (just slightly longer legs) and I have an hourglass shape. What about average bodies? Does anything just look good bcs I feel like it doesn't :/
Thank you thank you thank you for your time and dedication. My brain is all over the place though, I’m struggling a bit. So in short…. *pun intended For my short neck, short waist, triangle shape, with a larger chest, in need of slimming, I need V necks, with thicker shoulders, in contrasting colors!? Why don’t I like those on me, I prefer thinner straps as I feel thicker ones make my arms look thicker. Or do I have it backwards!? Help! 😅
I still don't know what my body shape is and what features ( long arms, short legs, thin shoulders, etc.) Do you have videos on those things and if not do you have any links you can suggest?
Which one do you want to see next in this Basics Series? Let me know! 😁
How about jeans if ypu haven't already done that? Or skirts?

Loved this video! Very helpful! Hopefully I can remember everything the next time I go “shopping” in my closed and else!

Totally agree, I'm 64 & learner more in the few vlogs I've watched👏👏

Style is a journey with no final destination. Enjoy the great outfits as you find them! 😊

Good to know! Sleeve length makes a difference too! Just didn’t feel like the right video for that detail. I love 3/4 sleeves too!

What if you have an average/ proportional torso and neck v

You deserve a lot more subs JB. Keep it up and you’ll surely get there. :)

Do what you like! Thicker straps will highlight your height but it’s all about what you feel most comfortable in

Hey Jules any advice where to these basic tops online? Btw I have a short neck, short torso, broad shoulders, large chest and my body frame is small.
Try the custom shirts from Amazon! I love them 😍
Question how do we find tops that are not cropped and cute ?
They’re out there! Mango is one of my favs
Jukes, I love your videos. Very informative. But Girl, slow down! I have to keep rolling back to catch all of your advice!!! Thank you
Thanks! I know 😅
Short totso= petite tops. Back is14" from neck to waist
Not if you have wide shoulders and long arms… that’s the rub!
You have to slow
