I wish YT creators would stop apologizing all the time for every little thing. It is getting tiresome and if people are that overly sensitive they should not be watching UA-cam or be on the internet at all! Love your channel. Keep up the good work!
Seriously!! Me too...it makes perfect sense now. I have so much "fat" in my midsection, even if i have a 2-pack or 4 of abs. It makes no sense, but a short torso makes it make sense 😂
The smallest part of me is literally directly below my bustlineand then my hips start immediately. I've tried so many times to accentuate my "waistline" but I don't have one! So I always end up inadvertently accentuating my complete lack of a torso 😭 this channel is a godsend
I have watched so many youtube clips on body types to appear more stylish. With each video & buy i got more confused as it didn't seem to work & eventually decided that i was a rectangular-apple-pear. Now i realise that i have a short torso 😂😂😂 It is so liberating to realise that my body is my own shape & i should definitely love & appreciate it ❤ Thank you
Thank you for your disclaimers! I know logically that having a short torso means less space for organs, etc, but I've never really thought about it that way. Hearing it from someone else helps drive it home.
Power to my short torso girls ! Love this video , so glad I found your channel !! Finally someone on UA-cam who actually HAS and UNDERSTANDS short torso girl problems 😍 I love the fact your totally on team tuck in shirts ! I do it all the time and I’m sick of reading and seeing posts that we shouldn’t 🙄 because again IT DOES LOOK CUTE ! lol looking forward to more videos Jules :)
Jules!! So many great tips that are spot on for my short torso, I can't even begin to tell you how much I appreciate and enjoy your content and how you present yourself. 100% on the money!!!
Omg thank you. I needed this. I’m 5’7. Large breasted (36 DD) larger butt, long legs, and super short torso. Muscular build. I just got back from vacation and I was so depressed about how I looked in all of the pics. Especially swimsuit. I look like a quarterback next to everyone. I realize now I need to work on my posture and my stance. I also noticed I look soo much better in halter top crop tops and this explains why!
Posture is so important! I need to keep working on mine too. I (sadly) recently learned that even tho we might not like how we look in some pictures, one day we will look back on those memories and be grateful to have those pictures. Don’t be too hard on yourself ❤️
I really researched if I had TOO MANY RIBS before realizing that I just have a short torso and litterally every picture online is of people with a LONG torso and wide hips and I just *all my body hatred makes sense now*
The bra tip was great. I’m also short torso hourglass and I was surprised that I need a padded bra at a 34D!! Makes sooooo much sense not to have my waist disappear under saggy girls!
Yes! The exercise tips re: obliques is something I’ve experienced but have never heard anyone say it! When I was in great shape I felt like I looked like a thick box. So many other great tips. Thanks for sharing your videos.
Just found your channel today! I'm enjoying these short torso tips. I'm actually proportionate, but I am 5'2; so my proportions are short. All these tips are really helpful! And I agree with you about focusing on toning your arms and back... not only does it build your lean muscle mass, it helps with my posture. Great videos!! Keep it up!
Yay! That’s so interesting to hear. Not the first time I’ve heard these tips can also work for petite women. I’m technically just out of petite range so it’s nice to hear this works for you too! Thanks for joining our community! Hope to see you around more 🤗✨
Omg if I found this video in my twenties what a world of a difference this would have made. I loved all your tips! The workout strategy part blew my mind - I will be working on everything you suggested! I don’t like having a short torso, but we have to make it work right? Great video!
These are amazing tips! Some I've figured out over the years, but there's so much here that just reinforces what I wasn't quite "sure" about. Thank youuuuu
This is going to be a long comment but I’m just so excited I found your channel! So I’m very petite: 5 ft even and 107 lb. I have short legs so always thought I had a long torso, but it’s actually short, I recently discovered. I have been lifting (seriously and consistently) for almost two years so I have muscle definition. I agree with all your tips but here’s what I’ve found that has helped. I’m short torso and short legs, so the space between my hip bone and top of thigh is longer in proportion (hip dips for sure), but also, I feel like my shoulders and rib cage are large in comparison to all the rest of my body. So I have been building glutes and legs, but have seen great results from doing stomach vacuums and twisting exercises that are only body weight and where you have to pull your core in. I definitely wear the padded and push up bras so that bust is bigger in comparison to my rib cage, but also has projection away from my waist. Also, for short torso petites, I found that the loose, boxy shirts and dresses work best when you belt at the waist, that way you don’t look like a kid in too big clothing. If anyone has any tips for a short torso petite with short legs too, I’d greatly appreciate it! Thank you so much for these videos they have helped me accept my body because now I know what it actually is!
Yay! I’m so happy to hear I could help. Bodies can be different in so many ways and there’s so much to celebrate about them! Thanks for sharing these tips. Can’t wait to try some out too! 💕
I think she means short torso in relation to your legs. I am also petite. Only 5’2” amd 112 lbs. My legs are short compared to someone who is 5’8” but in comparison to my torso my legs are long.
So many good tips here! There is one where I do the opposite, though, which is the bra tip. I absolutely go for a snug, well-fitting bra with underwire, but personally, I avoid padding like the plague. I am a shallow 30E, but I look more like what people think a B cup looks like (so kind of on the small side). I have found that the smaller I can make my chest look, the more it just looks like part of my torso, and therefor makes my torso look way longer. So I opt for no padding, and a shaped cup with side panels for forward projection. I can see why you don't go that route yourself; you couldn't ever really make your chest appear small, even if you wanted to, plus, you're curvier, so being more voluptuous on top suits you. But as a very non-curvy person, I love what keeping my chest small and compact does for my figure.
This is the absolute BEST video I’ve ever seen on tops for short torsos ❣️Your approach - and delivery - are WONDERFUL! And your tips are spot on! You just earned another faithful subscriber. Bravo 😊♥️
Dear Jules! Your channel is a huge find for me, as if I had found a piece of pure gold. All your videos are filled with awesome advice. I personally observed many of the effects of properly selected clothes, however, noticing them, I still could not figure out exactly which detail made the image harmonize. Your explanations made everything crystal clear to me! Of course, our shapes do not completely coincide, for example, I have wide shoulders, but my hips are narrow, so some details do not suit me, but I quite understand that and adjust. I must say that the value of your work is not only in the careful study of all your tips, but also in how charming and friendly you are. Thank you for your positive mood and my new outfits!
Thank you for these videos. IDK why I haven't run into them before (fellow short torso gal, here)! I do a lot of these already, but hearing you validate them is SO nice!!
I'm short 5'0 with proportionate torso (not long or short) but also curvy so it makes my torso look kind of short and find your tips to work well for me like wearing "mid rise" and wearing a more fitted or figure forming top. I followed another UA-camr's styling tip that says of you're petite to wear high rise to make you look taller but I find that it made me look like I have a belly when I don't really have any and I'm glad you pointed that out in your video that matched my observation
Thank you so much, Jules! I've seen a few of your videos over the last couple of days. Your advice is wonderful! I will use your tips in my everyday day life and the looks for my music videos. God bless!
This is the first channel I have ever subscribed to! I have a short torso and you are the first person I have ever heard talk about it and your tips are perfect! I found you looking for tips on bathing suits for short torsos and now I'm hooked. Love how real you are ❤️ I often times get hung up on the thoughts, "if I would just lose some weight," but I know I'm not big. Also, after having children my hips have widened and just loving and accepting my body type, and dressing it appropriately is key! Now I know where to look!
Hi Jules, Great video and great tips thank you !!! I am 5.10 with short torso and it is not that fun to get dressed. I also find that short torso is even more difficult when you have a large breast as you can easily look quite bulky. Looking forward to watching your next video :)
Totally get that Pauline! It can easily overwhelm your frame (which is why I like them locked as high up as possible 🤣) Looking forward to seeing you around here more! 💗
I’m just now finding this and thank goodness. Im 5’3, 130lbs, and about 3’ of me is my legs😂 I’ve had horrible body dysmorphia for a while and hate the way I look in my belly area. I also have a duck back (because of a problem I was born with) so my stomach looks pushed out more. Thank you!
YES, GIRL...you got it right! Not only do I have a short torso, but also a pancake butt, so high-rise jeans come up to my eyebrows. Mid-rise is where it's at. ;)
I just love your common sense advice, I am a rly 60 and it’s taken me this long to figure out why I never look good in anything I choose, especially anything high fashion. From now on I’m going to focus on your tips for dressing MY body shape and not what in fashion. Thank you so much, looking forward to your next video 😊
These videos are so helpful! I am 5’7 with legs for days and a SUPER short torso. I feel like I look disgusting in swimsuits and overall just blah in the mid-section. I also agree about the mid rise jeans, but how do you find them that don’t create a muffin top? I am pretty fit but still have spillage, which is why I opt for higher rise. So frustrating!
New subscriber, thank you for starting this channel! I am middle-aged, tall (somewhere between 5'8" and 5'9"), 34" inseam and a short torso. Gained "the COVID 15" and then some, and see-sawing through the process of shedding it (all too slowly). Since I work from home, I'm also out of touch on what I should be wearing when out and about in the world. This is my second video of yours I've watched to be sure this channel was indeed for me; so far, glad I did! In your other video, you reinforced the "why" behind most of the tops that I like... but typically avoid. Glad that you reintroduced the idea of the "longer" crop-top option. It did not occur to me that it's "a thing". Also, the alternative way to shirt-tuck to one side is a gem. Gonna try it! Item #7 though, I'm on the fence as far as showing my ankles. Provided that I am wearing shoes that do not emphasize my flat feet and fallen arches... I usually want my jeans to go down past my ankles, or to DECIDE to roll up the cuff. I can do that. However, if I find out my new pair of full-length jeans do NOT go to (or past) my ankles, I'm triggered in a negative way that takes me back to my elementary school days... a "beanpole", growing like a "weed" and my jeans never fit (in those days, they called "high-waters" and it was not a flattering thing!).
I can 💯 vouch for this. I was naturally extremely thin all the way into my 40s. Up until my 20s I weighed less than 100 pounds. But there are photos of me in paperbag topped pants where I look like a fat, bulky block. I wish I’d known about the short torso issues way back when. lol
I'm just shaking my head yes throughout the video. You are so right about a good fitting bra with underwire to show definition. I was trying on new clothes from shein and having a short torso, and apple body shape and under 5' 4" inches tall. I'm not liking high waisted paperbag shorts. My shirts are too long and when I tuck it in. Because I'm wearing a sports bra I'm not getting the look I want.
Loving all your tips. CrossFit girl here with a short torso. Abs are definitely made in the kitchen, I totally agree. But, I will say ab work has helped me produce better results. It's just important to accompany it with lots of cardio AND clean eating. Otherwise, you're absolutely right, ab work alone doesn't help. Also, it totally does feel like we have to work way harder to look slim! What you talked about at the start made so much sense - how we're wider cos we still have to fit all the same organs within our torso as everyone else!
Thanks babe! Yes a balanced combo is important. I can’t begin to count the number of times I thought an ab routine alone would solve any issues and look like models in magazines. Glad you liked the tips!! 💖
Correct, cardio works better with me than doing weights except for the arms, i do the weight with my upper body to make it more defined. The first places i lose weight is my legs and face then my arms and last belly-the hardest! Lose all the weights first by cardio and mild ab workouts or I have rf on the tummy. I also agee that even if I am size 4 I look a bit heavier than size 4 because my boobs is too big for my frame.
I'm watching from Germany and like your videos very much, great advices for short torso and long legs, although it's a little bit hard for me to understand everything ... you can really speak very fast ;-) I would like to see some headlines or statements in your videos. I'm 51 years old and know with menopause I'm going to look more and more like a plump box, horrible. So it's important for me, to be in shape and to dress very carefully. And posture is a big theme. Workouts advices are really new for me. I always tuck in my shirts and blouses and wear V-neck or open the buttons of my blouses, otherwise my look is unproportional, not very elegant and I look slouchy. I like hanging but delicate earrings and nice necklaces. I think for me it's important, to wear a better quality of fabrics than in my younger years and because I'm a classic elegant type. Had a professional styleadvice a couple of years ago, and there I understanded my bodytype and how to dress better for thr first time in my life. 35 years ago it was not possible to get such greatful advices and I didn't understand my bodytype. So, I always wondered why I looked horrible in modern stuff and my friends loooked great. In the 80's you had Mom-Jeans with highwaist, oversized shirts and sweats, colour blocking ...
Thanks so much Alex! Your comment means a lot. Short torsos can be tricky but all that matters in the end is that you’re happy in your clothes! I’m glad to have you around and look forward to chatting more 😄💗
Great tips. Now I'm about to watch some more of your videos because we have similar shapes except I'm 5'3. One thing that has helped me get more lift out of my bras is Strap Savers. They shorten the bra straps. When you have larger breasts sometimes the straps can be too long and not give enough support. The strap saver helps shorten the straps to give you an extra lift. They're sold on Amazon now and are like $15. Not my company...just sharing in case others have similar issues with long bra straps.
Agree only tip I struggle with is belts...front on I agree looks slimmer but side on, despite being slim ...I feel I look thick due to short torso...I'll keep trying 🤞
Hey Jules! I remember you had a video about jean length, which one is this? I got some new skinny jeans and they're too long, so I'll just cut the ends to the right ankle- length. Thanks!
* Ditto on the bra (32H). A good one also smooths the upper back area for a nice line under shirts. I have to take up those bra straps by a cm or two. They make the straps too long. * I have to mend all my clothing: shirts at the shoulder and pants at the hem unless I decide to cuff them. My sewing machine is always set up for stretch fabric (ballpoint needle and zig-zag stitch) to handle all the t-shirt material when I take a few inches off the shoulder seam. * TIP for posture! Strengthen your back and breath from your belly, not your chest. I focus a lot on stabilizer muscles. especially transversus abdominis, deep under the obliques, that literally hugs you. It helps posture a lot.
I encourage you to use your sewing machine to your full advantage. It really isn’t that difficult to sew your own clothing. You will learn your body (both circumference and vertical)measurements and make those adjustments to a pattern and end up with a garment that fits your beautiful body beautifully.
@@denisedorsey2889 Yep. I'm on a camisole bing right now. Straps are perfect everytime. I also learned how to knit a sweater. I was making socks only before.
I am so glad that I have found your channel. I am the same proportion as you vertically. Same height, also big busted. I am one dress size bigger than you though.
Hi- masters in nutrition and exercise here. The ab advice given here was far off so I wanted to do my due diligence as a professional and speak up. if you want to see your abs, it actually depends on two things - building the ab muscle AND having low enough body fat to where your muscles show (which, no, is not achieved 'in the kitchen.') Food and exercise, combined, only compiled around ~15% of lifestyle factors impacting the look of your body and your overall health. So even if you're eating clean and doing hiit workouts 5 days a week, you won't be guaranteed visible abs, nor are you guaranteed a specific 'look' of abs- like two lines down the sides vs. block-abs vs. two-pack abs vs. flat stomach with no lines, etc Both the muscle density on the abs AND the amount of fat storage on the abs differ for everyone genetically (the anatomic muscle density and fat deposits you're born with) and behaviorally (your exercise, activity, and nutrition)- if you have little ab muscle, you'll need to use weighted exercises to build up the muscle, while those that have larger ab muscle can focus on core strengthening exercises alone. But all in all, abs are highly overrated and there's no way to anatomically make your abs/core look like someone else's. Even if you achieve the ab muscle mass to fat deposit ratio, your ab lines and the overall look is going to look completely different than the ab appearance of the person whose ab challenge you're following. #TheMoreYouKnow
can you talk about how to slim your back. like under your arm near the armpit . for me i have a hour glass 5’3 body. my back sticks out from the front if that makes sense
Thank you for your bra suggestions I am also a 32 double D and I am 5 foot tall I am 120 pounds, but I always feel I look heavier because of my chest and exactly as you say often I wear shirts and it comes away from my chest and making me look sicker through the torso. I just haven’t figured out how to be comfortable in a tighter top. If you have any suggestions for bras, I would greatly appreciate it.
I personally love the body by Victoria’s Secret for the support and convertibility! So don’t like the extra padding but it feels like extra support to me and I appreciate that
I recently heard that measuring your “waist to hip ratio” is the new “most accurate” way to measure health, so I as someone with the body type of mike wazowski fell into the “morbidly obese” category when I wear a size small clothes and know I’m a healthy weight. Sigh #shorttorsostruggles
Ugh this is frustrating to hear. I’m not a health professional but this doesn’t sound like a very inclusive way to measure anything. I’ll have to look into it more. Thanks for sharing! Doesn’t sound like was accurate for you! 😂
Hello, I began physical therapy 20 months ago because I have weak leg muscles from age and chemo. After leaving phys therapy I began weight trainjng. I am 70 so my progress is slow. But I've lost 20 lbs and have gained a little muscke and lost fat. So my muscle body fat ratio has improved and I look better. Hence I'm checking out styling tips. But I can say that what I learned from my physical therapy sessions is that bmi is just part of the health picture. Adequate muscle mass and not too much body fat is very important. I have my muscle mass & body fat professionally calculated every 3 months. Women under 65 should have no more than 28% body fat. The waist to hip ratio of 80% and a waist no larger than 35 inches gives a rough idea of lean body mass. So a woman with 38 inch hips should have a waist no larger than 30.5 inches (80% of her waist,) and a woman with 42 inch hips should have waist no larger than 35 inches. I hope this helps.
Omg I don’t why people who have short torso don’t like their short torso and people who have long short don’t like theirs as well, although I think they all look cute, by the way My upper and lower body are the same ☺️
Hiya, I'm new here. Do the necklace and shirt beck help shoulders look more narrow, and does Jules have other tips for that? I suppose that's not normally a problem but, I'm getting my estrogen a bit late XD Hope y'all're doin well!
I feel your torso is normal I have a really rare short torso and my butt is high above my back and round whenever I wear skirts or trouser it just makes me look weird behind and this makes me uncomfortable please I need help😣
I do a lot of tricks 😉 but sounds like you have a shorter torso 💗 High bums are common with us - back pockets rarely fit right but they can really help or hurt how they look. It’s not an easy answer, but find pants with pockets and seams that fit well. Not easy to find by any means but worth it! 😊
I’m not a good example at all when it comes to bras... I pretty much wear one until it breaks 😂 The one I wear is the Body by Victoria’s Secret but it’s honestly not perfect. The cups don’t mold 100% perfectly but they’re not bad and I think they’re comfortable 🤷🏼♀️
DONT WORRY, GIRLS WITH LONG LEGS ARE THE BEST FIGHTER, TRUST ME IN THIS ONE, I AM THE BEST OF MY GROUP, AND I CAN'T BELIEVE IT, I FIND YOU ! And MY LONG LEGS GIRLS TEAM👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I APPRECIATE YOUR CONTENT THAT U MEAN FOR US! . FINALLY I CAN FIX MY CLOSET AND ACCESSORIES FOR THE BEST. THIS VIDEO MEANS A LOT. 💜🙏🏾 Thanks! XOXOXO
mid-rise is awesome! Most models are men....wide shoulders, long torso, slim hips, skinny legs, fake boobs........low body fat. Media is telling us the perfect women...is a man.
There's a lot of great advice here. I have a short torso and these tips make sense. But you know what really bugs me? Is there a video for guys with short torsos? No. Guys don't care if they have a long torso or a short torso or any kind of torso. They just don't care. They wear what they like and no one judges them for it. Women's fashion and the pressures we place on ourselves and on each other to look a certain way are harmful on so many levels.
It’s confusing because of the name “long legs” but long doesn’t mean tall ❤️ it’s meant to be long for the rest of your body no matter your height. But welcome to the short torso club! 💕🤗
Here's my entire short torso styling series! (Much MUCH more to come) ua-cam.com/play/PLJcuD_x6yBS-NHg6VqsCSiLuGxcI-jHaU.html
I wish YT creators would stop apologizing all the time for every little thing. It is getting tiresome and if people are that overly sensitive they should not be watching UA-cam or be on the internet at all! Love your channel. Keep up the good work!
I have been working out FOR EVER and eating healthy trying to get that “model” long torso look. This is all makes more sense now
I’m so glad it helped! It’s an important detail that changes everything
Seriously!! Me too...it makes perfect sense now. I have so much "fat" in my midsection, even if i have a 2-pack or 4 of abs. It makes no sense, but a short torso makes it make sense 😂
Oh, I have instinctively discovered the half-tuck
I hate it soooooooooo much
The most fuckin unfair... I SO do not wanna hear about thin privilege.
The smallest part of me is literally directly below my bustlineand then my hips start immediately. I've tried so many times to accentuate my "waistline" but I don't have one! So I always end up inadvertently accentuating my complete lack of a torso 😭 this channel is a godsend
Yeah, I realized long ago that my ribs and my hip bones are almost touching, so having a defined “waist” was gonna be hard.
Short torso here 🙋🏼♀️ 💯 agree with all your tips!
Yay! I’m glad you agree 🤗
I have watched so many youtube clips on body types to appear more stylish. With each video & buy i got more confused as it didn't seem to work & eventually decided that i was a rectangular-apple-pear.

Hi your right about the halter neck styles x
I really researched if I had TOO MANY RIBS before realizing that I just have a short torso and litterally every picture online is of people with a LONG torso and wide hips and I just *all my body hatred makes sense now*
Lol I FEEL this!! They all get in the way!! We’ll learn to love it together 💖

Yes!! Support the girls!! 😄💜
@@JulesBeth LOVE all of these tips! Speaking of supporting the girls, do you have a favorite bra right now? I feel like that's always a search!

this is very realistic, most other videos are trying to make us be perfect which is doing the opposite, thank you!
You’re beautiful! You’re so welcome 💕
*Cries in short neck*
I am not short torso, but I am short (5'2"). I actually follow all these tips too
Also, the workout tip #5 is really true
Good to know a lot of these can also apply to petite bodies! Thanks for sharing! 💕
Same here!

Aw thank you so much Taissiya! Your comment means a lot. I’m so happy I can help!! ❤️❤️
That makes sense! Good to know my tips are helpful for you too! ❤️
@@JulesBeth yes!!! 🌹
Thank you so much, Jules! I've seen a few of your videos over the last couple of days. Your advice is wonderful! I will use your tips in my everyday day life and the looks for my music videos. God bless!
I’m so glad it’s helpful!
I’m so glad I found your channel!! 5’3” here….all legs and frump on top! Loved all of your tips!! Thank you!!
Aw thanks Jolene! I’m so glad you’re here 😊 Can’t wait to share even more with you! 💗
Hi Jules,
Great video and great tips thank you !!!
Thank you!
I’m so glad it was helpful! 🥰💗
YES, GIRL...you got it right! Not only do I have a short torso, but also a pancake butt, so high-rise jeans come up to my eyebrows. Mid-rise is where it's at. ;)
Omg I laughed out loud at eyebrows 💀😆 You’re not alone sis 💗
Hahahahaha love you with this comment
@@estersanchez6986 😊💙
I just love your common sense advice, I am a rly 60 and it’s taken me this long to figure out why I never look good in anything I choose, especially anything high fashion. From now on I’m going to focus on your tips for dressing MY body shape and not what in fashion. Thank you so much, looking forward to your next video 😊
Thank you! Yes, dress YOU and you’ll always be happy
I wish I’d known about the short torso issues way back when. lol
That’s right! Thanks so much for sharing 💕
Paper bag shorts: gods help us.
The one of the things I've learned from shopping for a short torso - there are tops in the Petite section that fit me better.
I feel you on the paper bag shorts!
Lots More visual samples of what you are teaching please .. that you show us what you are trying to teach. Thanks
I’m glad to have you around and look forward to chatting more 😄💗
I likes vid on what jackets look best on short torsos , what style we should go for.
I'm so happy I found you! Thanks for all the tips for short torso. Now I fix my problem❤
I’m thrilled you’re here Mary! 🎉
Would love a video on legs!
Agree only tip I struggle with is belts...front on I agree looks slimmer but side on, despite being slim ...I feel I look thick due to short torso...I'll keep trying 🤞
I always get so excited when I see one of your new short torso videos! Loved all the tips here! 😊
I’m so glad to hear this! Means so much ❤️

New subbie 🥲 thanks to you I now know I have a short torso and long legs. I honestly never noticed 😭
Hey friend! So glad you’re here. I hope you find it all helpful! 💖
So glad I found your channel
These are superb tips. Thanks so much!
You're so welcome!
Glad to find your channel for inspiration, another short torso here~
So glad you’re here Eleanor!! It’s nice to meet another short torso 💕
Thanks. I’ll try tucking in my tee-shirts. Some good advice here.
Play around with it! ❤️
Great tips, esp the angled shirt tuck. 😀
I needed this video. I have a long neck too. And I agree that lifting the girls help 🥲💛
Happy it helped! Long necks like ours can be visually tricky because you don’t think about it very much yet it makes a difference 💕
I love these short torso videos!!
Thanks girl! ❤️🌟
Hey Jules! I remember you had a video about jean length, which one is this? I got some new skinny jeans and they're too long, so I'll just cut the ends to the right ankle- length. Thanks!
Hi Olga! I can’t remember the exact video where I mention it but ankle length would be perfect!
Love all this! Posture is so important It’s so cool you can make your own alterations! 💗
@@denisedorsey2889 I haven't tackled bras yet. Those are more complicated.
@@beepbopboop3221 That’s fantastic! Good for you.
I am so glad that I have found your channel. I am the same proportion as you vertically. Same height, also big busted. I am one dress size bigger than you though.
Aw thanks Amber! I’m so happy you’re here 😊
Omg I go crazy with my abs. But I do have luv handles. So I have been doing the BBG program.
What’s the BBG program?
You are good sis. Core and ab exercise does not make you wide or bulky despite the video saying it does. It's so good for your back.
Great tips!!❤
Thank you!!
So even if you're eating clean and doing hiit workouts 5 days a week, you won't be guaranteed visible abs, nor are you guaranteed a specific 'look' of abs- like two lines down the sides vs. block-abs vs. two-pack abs vs. flat stomach with no lines, etc
Both the muscle density on the abs AND the amount of fat storage on the abs differ for everyone genetically (the anatomic muscle density and fat deposits you're born with) and behaviorally (your exercise, activity, and nutrition)- if you have little ab muscle, you'll need to use weighted exercises to build up the muscle, while those that have larger ab muscle can focus on core strengthening exercises alone.
Thanks for the extra info! 🙂
can you talk about how to slim your back. like under your arm near the armpit . for me i have a hour glass 5’3 body. my back sticks out from the front if that makes sense
Good suggestion! Backless clothes are HARD ❤️
So don’t like the extra padding but it feels like extra support to me and I appreciate that
I’ve been doing #8 forever but I never realized why lol so now I know
Mid rise is the way to go for us
Super helpful tips here!! 💛
Thanks girly! Glad you enjoyed them 💗
What white tshirt is that with the ruffle sleeves? super cute!
Oh thanks! That one is a bit older but it’s from Ann Taylor Factory ✨
I have heard women need waist measurement under 35 inches to be healthy.
Perfect tips
Thanks, this was helpful!
You’re welcome! Glad you liked it 🧡
I am so happy I found your channel. Would you be able to discuss buying bras when you have a short torso?
I’ve added it to my list!
Need clothes suggestions for a short torso petites during hiking and cross country skiing etc.
Omg I don’t why people who have short torso don’t like their short torso and people who have long short don’t like theirs as well, although I think they all look cute, by the way My upper and lower body are the same ☺️
We all want what we can’t have 😊 Each have unique challenges that can get tiring
Love this!
Aw thank you!! 🌟
Hiya, I'm new here. Do the necklace and shirt beck help shoulders look more narrow, and does Jules have other tips for that? I suppose that's not normally a problem but, I'm getting my estrogen a bit late XD
Hope y'all're doin well!

I feel your torso is normal
I have a really rare short torso and my butt is high above my back and round whenever I wear skirts or trouser it just makes me look weird behind and this makes me uncomfortable please I need help😣
@Maya Rodriguez same thingggggg, in my case, I look like deceased SpongeBob lol 😭😭😭😖
what are the size of the levi’s jeans you are wearing?!
27!
Do u have any bra suggestions?
I’m not a good example at all when it comes to bras... I pretty much wear one until it breaks 😂 The one I wear is the Body by Victoria’s Secret but it’s honestly not perfect. The cups don’t mold 100% perfectly but they’re not bad and I think they’re comfortable 🤷🏼♀️

What’s about for guys?
You should also use keywords like petite just FYI
Good idea! Thanks for the tip 🤗
Petite is 5’4” and under
Thank you!
You’re so welcome!! ❤️
mid-rise is awesome! Most models are men....wide shoulders, long torso, slim hips, skinny legs, fake boobs........low body fat. Media is telling us the perfect women...is a man.
No wonder i look so bad while wearing high waist pants 🤧🤧🤧🤧
They’re so tough!!
We have the same body type but your a bit more hourglass shaped
This is my body. I have big boobs so it makes my torso look shorter
Yep! Blessing and a curse! 😂🙌
So are we considered an apple or rectangle shape?
You can be either or neither! Your short torso is considered your vertical body shape and apple/rectangle/pear is your horizontal body shape
Thank you.
You’re so welcome! 🤗
Time to bra shop!!!
Short torso and only 5'1" so no long legs either 🙃
It’s confusing because of the name “long legs” but long doesn’t mean tall ❤️ it’s meant to be long for the rest of your body no matter your height. But welcome to the short torso club! 💕🤗
Very high rise doesnt work for me. Ends up being bra then pant it's ridiculous. I mostly shop juniors. They are cut shorter than womens.
Ooh I’ll have to try that!
❤
My butt is so high I need an exercise to lower it
Flaunt it boo! 💕
Truth.. Im average but i look like fat.
You’re beautiful, Jenny! 💖😊
Sucks having a short torso. So jelly of longer torsos with such slim waist.
