Thank you for doing real subtitles!!
It takes time and effort which is why so many channels use auto caption and never even bother to do a quick proofread, but when subtitles are done right it is REALLY, REALLY appreciated.

I love falafel, who doesn’t ? Great recipe ! I love Lebanese food and gastronomy, it’s the best in the world. I’m from Norway, I got the chance to study Arabic at the American University of Beirut eight years ago, it was wonderful.... beautiful country, people, rich culture and history. This is Lebanon in a nutshell. Shokran!

If you use that kind of bread, I can really recommend, to tear it apart, so that you have two round sheets. Then wrap everything in one of the layers and then the other layer around. It holds better like this and the bread gets a nicer consistency. All the good falafel stores here make it like this.

What a great recipe, I swapped the flour for chickpea flour as I have some to hand, this keeps it gluten free and seems to be a very logical swap if it's simply to mop up excess moisture. Love the tahini sauce too. I have been making these weekly now, they're that good!

I am an older man now, retired and living in Kona Hawaii. I am a half Hawaiian half Irish kid who was born in San Francisco during the 1940’s!
I have a love affair with Falafel which was born in 1961 in Haifa.
During my formative years my godmother and my parents developed within me a strong bent towards independent thinking and a tremendous desire to experience new places and things. During my senior year of high school I was able to talk my parents into letting me, upon graduation, travel to Israel to live and work on a kibbutz on the northern border of the country along the Israeli Lebanese border. One of my fondest memories of that year was traveling down to Haifa on my rare days off with the few pennies I earned--I would walk around as a student/tourist and twice a day spend my little monies on street vender Falafel in Pita Bread along with an Orange soda.
I was unable to explain this joyful experience to my friends once back in the states until twenty years later when Falafel became somewhat known !
I am going to make your wonderful looking recipe and eat it and dream of things in the past in a world that is now forgotten !
As they say in Hawaii-Aloha and Mahalo Nui Loa
