We’ve all been there 😂
I've tried Blender multiple times. Everything's behind in complicated solutions which require more complicated solutions. Couldn't even make a simple landscape with trees and grass in it. I just refuse to learn something that gets more difficult every time i try my hands on it. I don't know call me git-gud, I still think blender sucks(unless you shovel a lot of money in it ofc)
I'm super excited to share that I'm already creating short movies on Blender and uploading them to UA-cam! 🎉 While I'm still on my learning journey with Blender, every project brings new challenges and fun! Can't wait to see how much I improve! 🚀✨
That's awesome!
video was fantastic! I really enjoyed it and found it incredibly informative. Great job!❤
This is what I want to do, I am scared though.

I started learning Blender 3 years ago for animation, now I'm making short films like no one's business.
Continue sharpening your fangs. Will check your content.
This video is a treasure for someone looking to jump to intermediate skills in blender, and of course make a one person movie
Feeling blessed that this popped up on my feed. Very fun to listen to.
Glad you enjoy it!

For the addon-hesitant: An easily overlooked benefit of Blender addons is that unlike other "plugin" ecosystems, you can open them up, learn how they work, and reuse pieces of them. The big ones are both a tool and a masterclass in how to do whatever it is quickly, reliably, and at scale from scratch. You can "learn to do everything yourself" in part by analyzing addons.
Also they are less susceptable to breakage because of updates in random parts of your tool chain. Thus I'm less hesitant to buy, use and perhaps even rely on them.
Thanks for making me realize that software development isn’t the hardest thing one can do with a computer.

First video you should see before getting into Blender
only that all of these cost money
I am as green as they come and so much to learn. So many, many thank yous for this video. I really appreciate you making this available to beginners. It's been so helpful to be able to follow along and see how you do things. I'm still getting started, but I'm already seeing some really cool results. I'm really excited to see where this goes!
This was so informative! Thank you for this! I just got into blender a month ago and started making my own characters! Hoping to make a short film by the end of h the year!
I did not learn how to make a movie but oh boy did I learn. Awesome video!
thanks, one step at a time
I’m planning on creating my own series which mixes some of my favorite characters and my own home made characters into one universe and it’s something I had planned since 2019 and I’m excited in using Blender and testing it out for some character rigs and motion
One of the best videos on Blender out there. Can you please create at least 30 seconds scene using more than one Addons, essentially human, environment, dust and lightning
I’m working on an animated movie right now in Blender. This video is very inspiring!
I never realized I could use Blender for screenwriting, that’s actually quite helpful.
There's a free add-on called 'Blender Screenwriter' which is really useful.
All of this really good add on. Thank you.
Glad you think so!
Exciting! Yes, it's my dream to make movies from Blender and Unreal Engine. Video fully viewed.
thanks, when do you start
I think all in Unreal could be done, and maybe some After Effects. People are making scenes in Unreal in a week...or more. If have a newer PC, I haven't upgraded yet. Ai/performance 2025 chips coming out, might make it even faster now...new tools on way..obviously..

thanks a lot for this.
This was a very informative video. Thanks!
very inspiring and informative video
Glad you think so!
Ngl, I love this video, but this also shows the reasons why I choose UE over Blender.
UE is a bit more new to film & TV, and the asset problem is still an asset problem to some degree, but the built in sequencer, Luma, updated rendering tech, etc...
My PC would cook like a roast chicken attempting to render a scene in blender. (I tried, it did not go well)
I don't have that issue with UE.
UE is better at what it does yes but blender is not an alternative to UE, it offers a billion other features. Besides, blender also comes with a new renderer now that can even render in real time with really, really good results.
@@phee3D I have seen that. But I still can't use it if it turns my PC into fried chicken lol. In good time maybe I can replace mine and give it a try. Unless blender has dose something with their platform that won't tax my PC so hard.
Thank you for making this video 👍
awesome video lots to check out as blender noob :) hehe thx :)

Can you make a video about best free and paid courses to learn blender!

Amazing! thanks
Thank you for this video
I've got a lot of addons. They haven't made me a world classmodeler or animator. They can make life easier.if you've already used other modeling tools or software or have background, perhaps extensive experience, sure these tips will help or they may be telling you what you already know/knew.
Either way, nothing replaces putting the time and effort in. I don't. That easily explains why I'm not a world class animator or modeler.
Regardless of skill level or tool(s) used, nothing will replace a mastery of the fundamentals, the basics. Or change the fact that those making industrial strength animation aren't doing it on most home computers or laptops or without access to render farms.
With or without any of that it will still take time, effort and investment. The scrolling screens of all the people involved in various aspects of major productions should provide some insight into the effort involved.
A DIY project even with all the tools and insights here won't change that. You are still a studio of one.
P.S. Everybody starts somewhere. The simple difference between those who succeed and those who don't is in the starting and not stopping until they do.
There's that
Nice!
thanks bro
Welcome
but if we have no budget how are we supposed to buy all the addons?? TmT
Everything can be made without addons, but what would take a few month would instead take a few years no addons
There are also alot of free add-ons. Maybe not exactly what you are looking for but can still help. There are videos like every month that cover the top free add-ons. Worth checking out.
Don't really depend on addons outside blender, learn to do everything by your self first
then use addons or some 3D models you didn't make if you are making a project and become faster
@乂Hi乂 models and textures I can understand but there are some really amazing add-ons that help turn a b-movie in to a top notch
@@C.D.CProductionsNY is there a specific website for add-ons?
Great video
Just look at the movie "Flow". It's a solo made movie

I appreciate the advice but you do know there's a such thing as 2D shading right like anime shading that can make most 3D scenes in 3D models look 100% 2D
As someone just getting into both Blender and Unreal, i am confused as to which one i should learn. I know Blender is better for modeling, but unreal has great potential for making movies. Lots of great assets, great for larger scenes and terrains, lighting, animations, etc. I'm looking to create a lot of character and tech assets in Blender (with maybe help from AI), then migrate them to Unreal to make my movie. Do you suggest another method? Thanks. :)
7:30 also no point in rendering a perfect model if the most you plan someone on watching is on your phone or on a pc at 1080p. Especially for social media posts
very true
Blender has always interested me but heard its a steep learning curve. Can you recommend where to start in terms of resources for a beginner? Interests are Forensic Architecture, sci fi horror, dystopian landscape blended with sculptural elements. Thanks

So, I have a question. You were very eloquent and engaging, and I'm trying to animate a scene from a book that hasn't been animated yet but deserves more attention. I've started sculpting one of the characters, but I hate searching for tutorials because there are so many creators who follow UA-cam studio tips and make their tutorials unnecessarily long and over-explanatory. Do you have any recommendations for a UA-cam series that doesn't constantly ask to 'smash that like and subscribe button' or have a 15-second dubstep intro? Specifically, I'm looking for content on sculpting, rigging, and animating. That is like your video: eloquent and engaging?

Why the hell would a person voluntarily lock himself into a single program, when there are countless of other programs with decades of experience and development that can perform the various work processes at a much higher quality?
probably for easier workflow
