Hi, I think there is an issue with the sound. The sound of the explosion should be delayed. First, you see the explosion, then you hear the sound (if the explosion is not near you). At a distance of 5 km from the missile explosion, the sound will reach you in 2-3 seconds, so keep that in mind. Also, the sound should start at maximum volume and then fade out. It shouldn't gradually increase to maximum before fading.
This comment is very accurate. Dont forget that the ground recieve the impact, so its not to wrong to think about 3 or 4 seconds of delay since the presion come from the explosion, its not just a sou d of voice, like the Beirut Explosion of 2020. This is incredible work. Amazing. What a time to be alive! Just one tiny thing...if you were paying yourself then it would be more than $20 for a week's work.
One big difference is that tony's clothes react to the shockwave by billowing, your clothes don't. Also the missiles after popping out don't spread out far enough to fall over such a wide area, they look like more of a cluster bombardment of a smaller area
I think one thing you get it wrong is light travels faster than sound. İf you slow it down the video and watch frame by frame your explosion audio actually plays even before missiles hit the ground. Ofc other than this it looks awesome! Well done!
Idk what all the rest are jabbering but if I had to guess which one was worth $20 and the other million...yours is the million dollar jackpot!! Freaking amazing!! I can only imagine what you're capable of if you were given that million... hope someone is listening out there...give this kid the freaking keys he's got what it takes to make a film
The title as it is right now feels misleading. Great work for the project, but a better title would be "remaking VFX of iron man DIY" or something. You are using professional equipment which has nothing to do with budget production of 20 $. In 2024 just the loan of 1 hour of working might already exceeds 20 $.
I love seeing random youtubers showing up huge studios! reminds me of the super man lip problem that some dude fixed with his home computer better than the studios did
Bro you made that looks so freaking awesome!. I will yes your does look more like a napalm type strike. While Tony's looks more like a concussion force. But over all 10/10 👍
You spent more than $20 just in electricity driving around looking for the perfect place to take your shot. How much did that computer cost? How much did the suit you wore cost? How long did it take you? What is your time worth? I'm sure you also ate food during this process how much did all that cost? $20....pshhh 😂
Why does someone say, that it is better than the Iron Man scene? For 20$ is good, but... there are ZERO physical interactions. You have just a good visual, because of software, but it looks fake and chip.
you nailed the youtube stuff! I love watching these! one small thing I noticed is that you leave your end work a bit unfinished, like you are in a rush, because I definitely for example know you noticed the smoke on the small missiles is fading away in the original movie clip vs your clip. maybe this is intended on your side or your time does not permit it. either way, kudos, I'll keep watching them all!
It looks awesome! I wish i could do all that VFX stuff. Not 20$ though. 1) You need a very good PC. 2) Software costs some money. 3) You need knowledge that takes a lot of time to master. But the result is fantastic 👍
the good thing about the desert is that it blends good with the natural color of the jet exhaust the misisles and the explotions. The smaller missiles they look like space missiles than just normal ones.
Wow man. It is awesome how you managed to make such an incredible video with only $20. I love that the title of the video perfectly reflects what is going on and is not in the slightest bit clickbait, good work! Let's say a Computer capable of decent rendering abilities is something everyone has (even though they don't. Having experience with VFX software is learnable for less than $20 yes, but it takes longer than earning your first $20. You really have to show us how you managed to get a Tesla model 3, some kind of camera drone, a camera that has decent recording quality, a tripod, a houdini license for commercial use but let's say you don't need that. So let us say that you used the $19 for some assets. That would leave you with about $5 minus $4 and leave you with $1 to work with. Now let us say you found a tesla model y on ebay (which was broken) for $0.35 bought it, repaired it and did the same with a remote controlled drone for video cinematics which maybe cost about $0.05, now another $0.50 for the tripod, $0.05 for a camera which you also repaired. That leaves about $500*10^-4 for the rest of your budget.... Can you find on what he spent the rest? I couldn't! This video seems fully legit. The end result definitely looks more than 10 times better of what I'll ever make in my life when I try to recreate a VFX scene from Ironman BUT I think that your budget is pretty... Well, fu*ked. Kind regards, Me
The only thing I wish was done a bit better, were the small rockets right after release because they all are pointing the same direction, meanwhile in the movie, they point different directions and after they are ignited, they seem to be navigated. Anyway I loved this AND the water animation as well :)
For me: Lighting of the truck next to you slightly off. Smoke coming out of the big rocket looked weird to me at the beginning The particles that fired the rockets looked awesome Explosions on the ground were much cooler than the original. A shockwave usually travels supersonic, so it's not possible to hear the impact before the shockwave hits you. But I guess for dramatic effect movies do this also (like in space). Great job.
Dude, the number of people picking at the title, the fact you drove a Tesla, or the colours were not perfect. Ffs, people really love to hate. This was absolutely incredible. Great job 😎🫰👍
Wow this was insanly good, well done. I'd shoot the money shot on a more tele lens like the movie and put a big leaf blower behind you. but other than that the VFX part for 1 man job was reaaaaly good.
It was an excellent effort for the amount of resources and time spent on the project. Gotta say though that the original scene looks more realistic in multiple areas.
Great work! As an "audience member" the one thing I really prefer in the original is when the 24 mini rockets pop out, they all do so with more random orientations. So when they activate you see cool curved smoke trails as they reorient themselves to get back on target. I find this more visually interesting/dynamic and less artificial/"procedural" looking (even if in reality your version where they all pop out more or less facing the same direction might be technically more accurate).
the recreation for me is physically more accurate than the original. Aerodynamically speaking the fins on the rockets would help the rockets stay pointed in the direction of flight, that is why they are there. drop a bomb from a bomb rack on a b17 bomber and the bomb will still go in the direction the plane is flying. force is a vector. Adding a side ways force to an object in flight will only cause small deviation in the direction of travel, but small deviations can turn into a big mess if you are trying to be precise. that missile wasn't meant to be precise. it was meant to destroy a large area with as little effort as possible
after watching you explained and edited your video, I watched your compare of Ironman shot and your video and both shots gave me goosebump! it was almost great! Just little more details and more realistic. I would rate your shot 9/10 😁👍

This is incredible work. Amazing. What a time to be alive! Just one tiny thing...if you were paying yourself then it would be more than $20 for a week's work.
IMPRESIONANTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well done!
I really wish I could do at least 5% of what you're doing in this video. This is so cool.
BRO, WHEN YOU SHOWED THE VID BEFORE IT WASNT EVEN GOOD BUT AT LAST HOW DID IT TURNED TO BE SO REALISTIC?!?!? HACKER
The title as it is right now feels misleading. Great work for the project, but a better title would be "remaking VFX of iron man DIY" or something. You are using professional equipment which has nothing to do with budget production of 20 $. In 2024 just the loan of 1 hour of working might already exceeds 20 $.
I refuse to accept that ironman came out 16 years ago.
I refuse to believe you uploaded first video 17 years ago
I love seeing random youtubers showing up huge studios! reminds me of the super man lip problem that some dude fixed with his home computer better than the studios did
Bro you made that looks so freaking awesome!. I will yes your does look more like a napalm type strike. While Tony's looks more like a concussion force. But over all 10/10 👍
Impressive. But if you saying budget of 20$ for one week does it mean that your salary per week is less than 20$ 🤔🤔
its looks like bullst
You spent more than $20 just in electricity driving around looking for the perfect place to take your shot. How much did that computer cost? How much did the suit you wore cost? How long did it take you? What is your time worth? I'm sure you also ate food during this process how much did all that cost? $20....pshhh 😂
u do it then and get back to us all
Why does someone say, that it is better than the Iron Man scene?
For 20$ is good, but...
there are ZERO physical interactions.
You have just a good visual, because of software, but it looks fake and chip.
yep, it is good but not close to original. Still good showcase what you can do with Houdini and some asset bashing even at home these days.
@@r6201skthis guy probably a proffesional so any average guy wouldn’t be able to do it
Your explosions look better than the original. Great job!
you nailed the youtube stuff!
7:24 why do you stand like that? Looks like a NPC to me bruh
My dumb head somehow can’t process that, of course the $140 million is for the whole movie, not just that one shot.
On top of that there is a difference between the money they spend while filming and the money they spend on vfx
The title doesn't make sense
It looks awesome! I wish i could do all that VFX stuff. Not 20$ though.
1) You need a very good PC.
2) Software costs some money.
3) You need knowledge that takes a lot of time to master.
But the result is fantastic 👍
the good thing about the desert is that it blends good with the natural color of the jet exhaust the misisles and the explotions. The smaller missiles they look like space missiles than just normal ones.
I like your result more than what they did in the movie !!!
its amazin how far simulation and 3D rendering tools have come that you can do stuff like this yourself.
Kind regards, Me
and we got exactly what he paid for. the effort of one person and $20 quality. great effort btw.
The only thing I wish was done a bit better, were the small rockets right after release because they all are pointing the same direction, meanwhile in the movie, they point different directions and after they are ignited, they seem to be navigated.
Anyway I loved this AND the water animation as well :)
For me:
Lighting of the truck next to you slightly off.
Smoke coming out of the big rocket looked weird to me at the beginning
The particles that fired the rockets looked awesome
Explosions on the ground were much cooler than the original.
A shockwave usually travels supersonic, so it's not possible to hear the impact before the shockwave hits you. But I guess for dramatic effect movies do this also (like in space).
Great job.
The way shockwave moves Tony's suit was the money shot imo. I really wanted to see how you could recreate it however that didn't happen :D
The fact that it looks better than WB's effects... Ironic!
It was an excellent effort for the amount of resources and time spent on the project. Gotta say though that the original scene looks more realistic in multiple areas.
You are doing better then whole Bollywood vfx industry
Great point!
the recreation for me is physically more accurate than the original. Aerodynamically speaking the fins on the rockets would help the rockets stay pointed in the direction of flight, that is why they are there. drop a bomb from a bomb rack on a b17 bomber and the bomb will still go in the direction the plane is flying. force is a vector. Adding a side ways force to an object in flight will only cause small deviation in the direction of travel, but small deviations can turn into a big mess if you are trying to be precise. that missile wasn't meant to be precise. it was meant to destroy a large area with as little effort as possible
the recreation minis are better
Bro literally amazing
Many parts look better than the movie. And I love the movie! The smoke from the small rockets and the main explosion are astonishing. You're a genius
Fabulous. I think your's is better than the actual movie!
Wow. I'm in awe of your skills.
OMG, too sick, man! for real, that was insane :DD
after watching you explained and edited your video, I watched your compare of Ironman shot and your video and both shots gave me goosebump! it was almost great! Just little more details and more realistic. I would rate your shot 9/10 😁👍
Man you are going to go far. Bra jobba!
great result!
that's awesome. great job!
All this advice from people! I am impressed my man💪
That was so entertaining to watch. Good job, bro!
‘According to my girlfriend, my other girlfriend’ - You sir are a funny one 😂
WoW! beautiful work
Pretty darn good for $20. I shudder to think what you could have done with $500. Also I find the constructive criticism here to be a breath of fresh air. Very respectful channel you've got here.
Bruh, this isn't $20. He's a liar. A license for houdini alone costs several thousands.
so many people are talking about all the equipment etc costing more than 20$. man this was an incredible video, he deserves way more views so i dont care if it's a bit clickbaity
bro this is a masterpiece
Doing good job. Keep it up.
The scene is hard to imagine but easier to copy.
500 vfx artists.
