I was at this concert. I'm an Englishman who was 45 at the time and I had tears running down my face for most of the gig. I completely lost my British stiff upper lip. I was an emotional mess by the end. The greatest gig I've ever been to. ✌️❤️🇬🇧
So you’re like 75 now? I hate crying all the time at a concert….constant need to blow your nose….getting a headache. Kinda annoying. More than kind of. So I try not to do that…..in a concert that is.
I was 22 when I saw that tour in Montreal, Canada 🇨🇦 They played 3 nights in a 55 thousand people stadium. Everyone of us leaving the place at the end completely silent and forever changed ❤
I saw the tour, but in a different city. I saw them also for Momentary Lapse of Reason. Nothing can touch this tour. They had to use three sets for the US wing, because it took so long to set them up and break them down, they were in three cities at once, at any given time, setting up, playing, or breaking them down.
Ok! You guys should be made the official Pink Floyd reactors because you both really get it. Always a joy watching your reaction and listening to your words.
I was 67 yesterday and have listened to Pink Floyd since I was 14. this song has more meaning the older you get. It makes you realise how fragile life is and makes you realise what you have lost over the years. I too cry every time I hear this song. Your reactions were spot on.
A song like this brings you to the point of complete and vulnerable connection to your heart. This is the reason for the tears. Nothing to be embarrassed about! Music brings me to tears quite often!
YES, David Gilmour is a very "Cool Guy".....Back in O.C. Calif when I was 30 my wife heard a commercial on the radio about a P.F. show coming up. Knowing I am a Floyd fan she called the radio station (KMET - LA, “The Mighty Met”) to get information on the concert, The DJ on live radio Cynthia Fox…. said...."Congratulations, YOU are caller number 10, YOU just won tickets to the show and the Sound Check Party before the show"... I met David Gilmour back stage. He gave us both a signed album that I have in my music room. We talked for 22 minutes. I called him…“The Master Of The Stratocaster” He smiled. I told him his music will stand the test of time with anything from Beethoven or Mozart. He smiled even bigger. I asked if I could shake both his hands that make such great guitar solos, he smiled bigger and said “Sure” and shook both hands at the same time, making a cross between us, I smiled HUGE. Hard to explain how awesome that moment was in my life. I asked him to describe his technique of playing guitar, he replied… “I strike a note, bend it, shake it and then release it”…. Yes, he does that quite well, better than any other guitarist I know. . I told him in my eyes he’s a “Legend“. He thanked me and said “Enjoy the show”…. during the concert after the song “Money” he looked right at me and said…. “On saxophone, another Legend, Mr. Raphael Ravenscroft” … acknowledging my comment to him. It is my favorite moment in over 300 shows I’ve seen. I asked David…. How do you create those awesome solos?… he said….. I sit on a stool and listen to what Roger, Nick and Rick put down and play along. I listen to what I played and pick out what I like, then I put the pieces together into one piece then learn to play it as one. Our fans are fanatics for our shows to sound like the albums so I must play it correctly each time in a show. I have the concert Brochure and album on the wall with David’s picture centerfold. All of us fortunate enough to have seen this show live were in a TRANCE.... MESMERIZED the entire show... as you can imagine. We walked out saying.... What did we just witness? That was out of this world incredible. The Red Fender Stratocaster he used for this concert in the Guitar Collector World is ....PRICELESS
Greatest band ever in my opinion, been a Pink Floyd fan since 1969 and Dark Side Of The Moon is my favourite all time album. Love High hopes and The Division Bell is a fabulous album.
i love your pink floyd reactions. beautiful reactions to amazing timeless songs. also, dont be embarrassed to cry, i got emotional watching you, and ive heard this song so many times
As a 59 yr old male, I can tell you that I have experienced 'onion eyes' many times over the years listening to PF's music, so I always appreciate both of your abilities to truly experience the music that you react to! There is a reason that Tuomas (Nightwish) chose to do a tribute to this awesome song, and though I rarely appreciate anyone's attempts at re-creating PF's music, I do quite enjoy Nightwish's version of the song! Also, although there are MANY guitarists in the world that I admire a lot, no one conveys emotion through their guitar (for me) quite like David Gilmour! Cheers from Kodiak Island!
The Pulse Concerts were not only timeless, they feel timeless today, because they were so ahead of their time! To my knowledge, this was the first concert, where the Lightshow es choreographed with computers to be fully synchronized with the beat/rhythm of the songs/tracks. The surround sound used in the concerts was unheard of. And to my knowledge nobody has since again pulled off something to that scale!
Well, you seem well informed, because that's how you say it, I had the opportunity to see them live on their second night in Mexico City, apart from the stage and lights, there was sound equipment behind the stage and in the back of the people . I don't know if you had the opportunity to listen to this album Pulso on Tape or CD, there was a track where you hear bird sounds, and as a river passed, this track was played before the concert began and the most surprising thing is when you walked, it gave you the feeling that you heard the river come or go... and that was just before the concert began.
THE ANIMALS CONCERT WAS IN FULL QUADROPHONIC …. THE SOUNDS N MUSIC WAS CIRCLING N CRISSCROSSING CONSTANTLY… ALWAYS SIT CLOSE TO THE SOUND STAGE FOR BEST EXPERIENCE
"Crying with Andre" I love it - Dont be embarrassed, pink floyd has brought me to tears many times. Pink Floyd is EMOTIONAL MUSIC YOU FEEL IN YOUR SOUL, IN YOUR PAST MEMORIES.
I really enjoy your reactions to Pink Floyd so much. This song especially touches my soul also. It is a song about remembering back to our youth and the simplicity of our hopes and dreams. When we were young “everything and anything “ was possible. But, as we grow older and “life” has kicked us down a few times, and friends and loves disappoint us….. we loose our ability to see the joy and wonder of life. This song is a masterpiece. It helps us remember who we were….when hope was real. Life was intended for “living”….not just existing. Sadly our present world has forgotten that truth. Now….we just exist. A powerful song to remind us, who we were. I listen to this song quite often……to remind myself of who we used to be.❤️🙏🇨🇦
As a professional musician, I like that you’ve noticed how serenely businesslike Gilmour and the other members of Pink Floyd are, as they channel the music of the spheres in this magnificent work. To me, the most effective musicians have always understood that, so to speak, it’s not the artist’s job to do the crying, but to cause it. This is an act of understanding and concentration. This band of amazing cool-tempered souls, and their visual collaborators, have taken this wisdom and manifested it so sublimely that we are left stunned and shattered. I love how David Gilmour casually introduces the tune: “Well, I suppose we should get on with it.” ☺️
That's why there is no other band in the universe like Pink Floyd! David Gilmour is in a tee shirt and jeans singing,... playing Classical guitar,... playing a Lap Steel guitar, he's a legend, and so is Pink Floyd! Every PF song is an Experience!
This song, amongst others from Pink Floyd, touch my soul. There beautiful behond comprehension. And you guys' reaction to these types of performances proves my point. ' One's eye's are a view into the soul' , and both of you have good ones! x
Hi I love your genuine reactions to my favourite band. You both get exactly what happens when exposed to total genius. Pink Floyd hits your soul . Keep up the good work, peace
Very true about Pink Floyd, especially David Gilmour, being humble. I feel they just are the best ever of music. I fell in love with Pink Floyd at 15 years old. Now I'm 45. I enjoy reactions to Pink Floyd just to know the word is spread about these amazing musicians. If you ever seem to be losing hope in something, just listen to Pink Floyd and all seems to feel better.
You two seem so honest and sincere with your reactions ,really like your channel, fat old sun ,from the remember that night concert is another great song , i think you would like it ,
This song always takes me back to my childhood, playing with friends and at a time that we have no idea that one day will be the last time we will all be together. I miss my childhood friends!!
This band is something else. I remember I had a To-Do list given to me by the wife right after we moved into our first home. I was doing work with the music playing and my 11 yer old daughter was on the couch doing something. Pink Floyd came on and it was the song Us and Them. By the time the song was over my 11 Y.O was in tears. I asked her want was wrong and she said this song is very pretty. That song has made me cry every time I listen to it. I would highly recommend "Us and Them" for you. The lyrics are unworldly.
Pink Floyd makes emotions audible - they always take you on a journey...where you ultimately go is entirely your choice. This song is a recap to their journey through life - as a band, and as individuals. The tribute to their fallen founder - Syd Barrett - is there as well. It is truly fitting that this is the closing track on their final complete studio album (and as a unified group). They have NO peers - even 30 years down the road. Thankfully, their work will still be available to current and future generation to wonder at.
Hi guys, one of their best this song isn't it? On this slide guitar just masters of our time, we are, were so lucky to have these guys PINK FLOYD to listen to thanks for making our life's so much better being there for us Peter
Hi Andrei, I feel your emotion , Pink Floyd always make me emotional when I listen to them. I have every album they ever made. They are not just musicians they are pure artists. No one will ever compare to them. I loved your reaction.
👍👍👍 Absolutely love your channel. I don't know if it's in the blood but I agree with so many of your feelings and interpretations. My Dad came from Oliwa, Gdansk which is why I mentioned, "blood". I think so much as he did. Anyway, once again love your reactions and it's lovely to hear the Polish accent again since my Dad passed away. Thank you.
Andre, that was beautiful.......Pink Floyd goes into your soul and we all go along for the journey! They are always an 'experience'; fantastic reaction from both of you!!
On the way to the 1994 “PULSE TOUR” concert playing this song in my car a friend said he wasn’t sure he liked the song as much as others on the album….. THEN we saw it performed live and he said…. “WHOA”, That was fucking AWESOME”… I agreed. Incredible to witness live.
This song is beyond what words can describe…. The process of unbound adventure (youth) to staleness and decay (life aging you)…. I don’t know how else to describe it but such insane beauty applies to the observation and process of this song. Also, their songs follow the process of life. A subtle introduction, a ramping up, a smooth pocket in the chorus, increasing severity leading to the crescendo of David’s solos, and then the wind down.. the deep exhale. My god, the love in it all is simply describing and relating the process to us. My god.
I love this song. The version by Pink Floyd is wonderful and the version by Nightwish is a great homage to the legendary band. No discussion needed, both versions are great.
Pink Floyd - Pulse 1994 live, simply imposing, majestic, mystical, I never tire of seeing and listening to it, I have it on cassette, CD, VHS and DVD 👌👌👌👏👏👏
Ahh.......another person brought to tears by a Pink Floyd composition! I have been there brother. I am 67 years old and have the entire Floyd collection. I have had their music in my entire life. Pink Floyd is a rare group of true musicians and hence a lot of their compositions are of an orchestral nature. I am just now discovering you two and will say you both are genuine souls.
Hello Andre and Dominica, I have seen your reactions and what you have said in each reaction of this incredible concert, and that is why I wanted to share that I had the opportunity to see Pink Floyd in Mexico City in 1994, on April 10, I was about 30 meters in front of the stage, where the sphere came out in comfortably numb, the experience from start to finish was incredible, and I can tell you that I was hallucinated for a week because I didn't believe what I had seen, as you have said, the music, the lights, the sound, the experience was 360, and I share that between 1992 and 2005 I saw more than 40 artists including Rolling Stones, Metallica, Scorpions, Sarah Brigtman, Phil Collins, Guns and Roses, Michael Jackson, etc. .... but no concert made me vibrate so much musically, emotionally and that you didn't know where to see, where to pay attention because live it was amazing, without further ado, it has been the best concert of my life
It's Ok to cry or want to cry with a pink floyd song like this, it reminds me of my university days, and it brings me to tears at times, if not every time. It just pulls you inside yourself and explodes outward again like a wave of emotion. just the mastery of these musicians who found the key to the portal of the universe and opened it for us all!
Fantastic reaction my dear polish friends I myself find Pink Floyd goes right into your soul with every song and rips at your emotions in a good way I have been a Pink Floyd fan since their inception in 1965.🇬🇧👍👏👏👏
Love your reaction. It was nice to see how you got down to the emotional reaction. It means you felt it as well as heard it. It's easy to let the tears flow while listening to a beautiful song that says the words you know but you could never express. We all carry those childhood memories when life was one great adventure full of discoveries and wonder. If it doesn't bring you to tears to remember what has long past you missed the whole point of the song.
I was fortunate enough to see Pink Floyd in concert 'The delicate sound of thunder" tour. Live the very air around you is filled with sound, unforgettable.
I discovered Pink Floyd very young. Then I bought this concert on VHS and fell in love with their music. Watching it on repeat all my life. Absolutely incredible what humanity can come up with. I love what you said about giving things you didn’t pay much attention to a go. When you really listen you can be blown away with other types of music you thought you might not be into. I’m totally discovering John Farnham, watching him live. Even though I had heard him all my life, but now I truly respect him and appreciate his work. Incredible power in music.
I’m 64 now. I went down the Pink Floyd rabbit hole when I was 15 and I have been unable to get out nor do I want to. Floyd is the next level above music & song. Its cool to cry by the way!
I have seen Pink Floyd Live 4 times… I saw this same show Syracuse Carrier Dome in N.Y. 1994. The concert brochure said the stage is 120 feet wide. It takes a crew of 60 technicians three days to set up the entire lights and all. The concert schedule required that there had to be three entire crews to keep up. They leap froged each other for 92 shows with 20 Trucks per crew and a total staff of 195. The tour cost the promoters $98.MILLION to put on, but the total profit was $260 MILLION. Nick Mason’s drumming is incredible and matches Gilmour’s guitar emotions while Richard Wright takes us on a Magic Carpet Ride of tones that form the foundation of it all.
You two are beautiful to watch! Absolutely love your channel and especially your Pink Floyd reactions. I loved the self-effacing humor of changing the name of the channel to "Cry With Andre", but do not feel embarrassed. Anyone with a soul will feel what you felt when hearing this song, especially for the first time. I know I have on occasion. Keep up the wonderful videos, my friends! Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
Love you guys - your reactions are always very thoughtful and heartfelt, and it's delightful watching as you discover the riches of the Pink Floyd catalog. Yes, their music has changed people. 50 years now I've been listening to them, still do every week. Nothing else resonates with me so completely. When you're ready, try Echoes. There are no bad versions of Echoes, but my personal favorite is the last one played Gilmour and Wright, from David Gilmour Live in Gdansk. It's from a Gilmour solo tour, so it's not PF, but it's David and Rick and Guy Pratt and a wonderful backing band, and it's amazing. David described Echoes as a musical conversation between he and Rick, and after Rick died in 2008, said that he would never play Echoes again without Rick. So Live in Gdansk is the last performance of that song, and the sweetest. Shine On!
I've watching many performances from this concert, almost every song gets me emotional...it's just so much more then music, it reaches parts of me I didn't know or forgot existed
When you listen to Pink Floyd songs, even though there are lyrics, the music burns lyrics without words into your soul and conscience that connects you to your own life.
David Gilmore can hypnotize you with his Music, Voice, and his Guitar playing pulling your Hearts. Pink Floyd was by far the Best Concert In My Life for 2 hours and 30 minutes of Great Songs with the Best Light Show Ever Watched. Anything live with Pink Floyd is Amazing and you can't miss anything. Great Reaction
Greetings from California! I just found your channel and had to tell you how much I enjoyed this reaction. You're both so genuine and natural - watching you try to put your emotional responses into words was very familiar to me - most every PF fan will tell you that their reactions to Floyd's music was and is the same as yours. Their music always takes you on a journey. I hope that you continue to discover this amazing band - you should definitely listen to the "Dark Side of the Moon" (1973) album - best to listen to the songs in the order presented, since it's a concept album, as are most all their albums. As far as live music goes - at the very least, also check out "Sorrow" from this same concert - it will blow you away! And please, don't ever feel self-conscious about shedding a few tears when you listen to them - Floyd will do that to you. I'm excited to see some of your other reactions!
I liked the video because of your facial expressions at the end. I saw that you definetly got the feel of the song unlike other people who shouted "greaaat", "awesomeee" in an artificial and superfluous way.
High Hopes is a song of indescribable beauty. David Gilmour knows how to make his guitar talk and even make you cry and the lyrics are not exactly irrelevant, but they have some really deep messages that make you think at least, and move you to tears in some of his songs. You should react to "on the turning away", a song with a very powerful message and a legendary solo. "Mother", "Time" and many, many tracks that will never be forgotten because they are wonderfully timeless.
Love it..,reaction..- still hope for our planet, all the best..., Boyan- Ljubljana, In a world where most wear a mask, it is a privilege to see the soul.
I was at this concert. I'm an Englishman who was 45 at the time and I had tears running down my face for most of the gig. I completely lost my British stiff upper lip. I was an emotional mess by the end. The greatest gig I've ever been to. ✌️❤️🇬🇧

Ok! You guys should be made the official Pink Floyd reactors because you both really get it. Always a joy watching your reaction and listening to your words.

Andre, that was beautiful.......Pink Floyd goes into your soul and we all go along for the journey! They are always an 'experience'; fantastic reaction from both of you!!
14:05 - the sliding notes which brought tears in Andrei's eyes ❣️❣️
No band stirs the emotions like Pink Floyd.
You don't just listen to them. Your mind consumes them.
Simply love this number, so enchanting ❤️
I agree .. beautiful and worthy to move one to tears..
I love the way you guys communicate. Relaxed and genuine. Cheers. Nice song yeah.
If melancholy was a song, this is it. Sublime. Another PF masterpiece. Such beauty. 🙂
Such a great reaction! Would love to see a reaction for Pink Floyd - _Marooned_ (Music Video) from you.
I completely agree with you because the Nightwish version is a tribute, not a copy.
Have to love this number, Pink Floyd in general ❤️
In 2006 he plays this in an acoustic concert. His voice so deeply rich...with choir & strings
I'm 65 and 66 in a few months and I shed tears to a lot of music! And the women I have known always liked that I am that way!
BRAVO MAJSTORE! DAVID GILMOUR VAZDA NAJBOLJI I VAZDA NAJVECI! PINK FLOYD ZAUVIJEK! A PJESMA HIGH HOPES ZA NAVIJEK!
Pink Floyd - Pulse 1994 live, simply imposing, majestic, mystical, I never tire of seeing and listening to it, I have it on cassette, CD, VHS and DVD 👌👌👌👏👏👏
I tear up every time I hear this song. So beautiful and heart ❤️ touching!
I saw the Division Bell Concert in Aims, Iowa, U.S. I was 28 at the time. Those were the days; forever and ever!
Hello Andre and Dominica, I have seen your reactions and what you have said in each reaction of this incredible concert, and that is why I wanted to share that I had the opportunity to see Pink Floyd in Mexico City in 1994, on April 10, I was about 30 meters in front of the stage, where the sphere came out in comfortably numb, the experience from start to finish was incredible, and I can tell you that I was hallucinated for a week because I didn't believe what I had seen, as you have said, the music, the lights, the sound, the experience was 360, and I share that between 1992 and 2005 I saw more than 40 artists including Rolling Stones, Metallica, Scorpions, Sarah Brigtman, Phil Collins, Guns and Roses, Michael Jackson, etc. .... but no concert made me vibrate so much musically, emotionally and that you didn't know where to see, where to pay attention because live it was amazing, without further ado, it has been the best concert of my life
This is why they are the best
It's Ok to cry or want to cry with a pink floyd song like this, it reminds me of my university days, and it brings me to tears at times, if not every time. It just pulls you inside yourself and explodes outward again like a wave of emotion. just the mastery of these musicians who found the key to the portal of the universe and opened it for us all!
God i love you two - perfect reaction and description of what Pink Floyd can do to you and where they can transport you
All you 2 say ..........TRUE. Great song and beautiful 2 people.
Dont´be embarrest for showing your emotions, i love when people actually feel and enjoy this wonderful bands songs. Peace out mates. 😍😇
I love how you thought your strawberry metaphor would be crazy, when really it could not have captured the essence of this song more.
Beautiful reaction👍❤
Yes,... like strawberries picked fresh from the garden in summer ... a taste much sweeter and so reminiscent of yesteryear.
I believe Dominika, at 8:43, actually understood what this song is truly about. I LOVE the tune and your reaction. Thank you.
When you listen to Pink Floyd songs, even though there are lyrics, the music burns lyrics without words into your soul and conscience that connects you to your own life.
Melancholy is very hard to explain.
Dziękuję za szczere emocje! To miłe, gdy ludzie rozumieją taką muzykę sercem i duszą.
Your not alone, I have tears in my eyes listening to this song with you, one of my favorites !
Pink Floyd brings all people an Nations together ❤️ , great reaction.
An amazing track, well done both you obviously appreciate the best in music great reaction ❤ more Floyd and Dave G
I want this one at my funeral!!! Now, try from the same concert: Shine on you Crazy Diamond!!! Magical!!!
Here we are! Someone crying at a Pink Floyd song! LOL! I listen to PF every day and it is my great joy every day! I cry every day!
Love it..,reaction..- still hope for our planet, all the best..., Boyan- Ljubljana, In a world where most wear a mask, it is a privilege to see the soul.
