There will never be another band like Pink Floyd. They are from another planet. It’s not just music, it’s life itself. They actually sent a gold record with their music into space, and someday some alien civilization will come across it. Not sure if they’ll know how to play it, but if they do, they might just think us humans on Earth have some redeeming qualities.
This is a very emotional song for Floyd fans as its the last track on their last LP . Its about the beginnings of the band in Cambridge a University town in 1965 and the loss of their founder and beyond .
What a beautiful reaction to this beautiful song. Thank you for sharing it with us. It is so good to see that the music I loved when I was much younger is still able to move young people like you today. It is a true validation of the timeless appeal of great music. Thank you once again.
When I was 17, I slept in a parking lot overnight to try and get tickets to that tour and it was something like two shows in Vegas two shows in LA and one in San Diego showed out in 43 minutes God I wish I could’ve hit one of those those concerts
Hi my dear, one of my favourite Pink Floyd songs, especially from this 1994 concert ! Beautiful, expressive and with a great guitar solo at the end. Loved your reaction so much, my dear... I wonder when you will record and upload my recent suggestion... Hugs and kisses from your dear friend Gerry PS : Next Pink Floyd song from this 1994 Pulse concert should definitely be "Sorrow", also one of my absolute favourite Pink Floyd songs... the guitar solo in this song, as well as the guiitsr intro and outro is EPIC !
Cari saluti dall'Italia 🇮🇹
lovely reaction, there are lots of great pink floyd songs for you to try, id really recomend you react to " COMFORTABLY NUMB " from the same pulse concert, it will blow your mind
Ah now there you have it, the levels of feelings you experience with Pink Floyd. Beware it’s a very very deep rabbit hole and you’ll want so much to explore it. Enjoy!
And now, i try and attempt it without any help of google translate: in my believe the band pink floyd is still existing, in our dreams. because they wrote: "harmkessly passing your time in the grasland away..." and another lot of real big thoughts. i am a poet of germany, surely, and a painter, you´ll see my scetches on ceramic, for sure.
Hi - I love this song, so thank you for the heartfelt response - I subscribe! Your soul seems to crave epic emotive songs, so I have one recommendation with a female voice: my beloved Anneke van Giersbergen & the band *The Gathering* with the song *Travel* (preferably the video from the TG25 Live at Doornroosje concert). Enjoy, thanks for your emotions!
And, I would like to add: please play "i wish you were there" at my funeral and not one of the songs from the "Division Bell". and thank you very much for that.
to mrs. cynthia ambrose on youtube, 24.04.2024 High hopes? "The Hope dies late", says a german word, and i complete: "shortly after the illusion. My opinion in 1993, the year Pink Floyd's album "Division Bell" was released, was: "A bad mix between coffee rides and old people's home sprinkling" so i thought in 1993 - and so i think today. "Suitable for dumbing down young people who don't really (want to) listen and misleading them about Pink Floyd, and that was once 5 - 4 people. 5 including Mr. Syd Barrett, to whom the song "wish you were here" was dedicated. later than included the band 4 persons. the names were Nick Mason (drums), David Gilmour (gutar), Roger Waters (bass) and Richard Wright (synthesizer)." Because I own so many, about 20, much better albums by the band, starting with "London, 1966" one record back then. Please listen to "the dark side of the moon", just for example. or just listen to “meddle” intensively. I especially lve “echoes” at the album "meddle". This both albums are to be heard loud and intense! After this you should ask yourself: what is missing? and you´ll see, one peron is missing, i donot name him (because he is considered anti-Semitic,in the meantime, but will be rehabilitated soon, after my opinion), but, for me, pink floyd ended in the year, he left the band. 1983. No more god ideas, no more power that helps the band called pink floyd? There remain groundbreaking songs forever. i love them, - and without the album "division bell" (please look for that at sentence 3).
That Roger Waters will probably be rehabilitated soon, (since he is part of BDS against Israel's policies) - I stand by that. And then, dear Mr. Waters, I would very much like you to reunite the band Pink Floyd. which so many people truly idolize, reunite (and bring back to their former strength). As a German, I have a certain attitude towards “reunifications”. And please, then you also have to “keep all five straight.”
Do you know what future South African President Nelson Mandela said on the subject? "If I hadn't forgiven them, I would have remained their prisoner forever." and you shouldn't. Moretheless the same sentence said your musical colleague Peter Gabriel, formerly from the band "Genesis". I. m. O.:To forgive shows real great strength. So please get along and give the world new, your incredible music.

Please never say: never say never, because it can happen at any time to be surprised. Or? True or not?
Melhor que Beatles
Don't feel alone , Pink Floyd has this effect on anyone with a good soul.
So true lmao. If someone is not moved by Pink Floyd then I can't trust that person because they're probably dead inside 😅
Great reaction! Highly recommend “Sorrow” form the same concert. Mind blowing.

at the moment when the garter of the former p. f. released the album "division bell" in 1993, I was really disappointed. i am that, till today.

La version pulse est magnifique. Mais je préfère la version remember that night.
