Excellent, thank you! I have been doing your short workouts after meal at least once a day. Managed to lose half an inch off my thighs, butts and tummy after a plateau of 2 months.
It's great that I found you. I am 77 years old and I understand that in order to live long and comfortably, you need to move. I walk at home after eating, and now I will walk with you. Thank you!
I love that you recognize that you must keep moving. Welcome to my channel and thank you for letting me know that you're new here. Just to help you navigate the channel, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate) and categorize them all into the playlists. If you enjoyed this one, you can find plenty more at this same level under the 'gentle level' playlists. I hope you enjoy more of the workouts when you try them out. I also have a second channel dedicated to chair workouts where I also upload seated stretching routines. I'll add the link for you here as well: youtube.com/@ImprovedHealthChairWorkouts
Dear Jules, thanks a lot! It's great that there are 3 levels. I have already decided and chosen level 3 for myself. For evening workouts, level 2 and even level 1 are suitable. Chair workouts can wait for now.
Absolutely loved the 15 second changes & the gentle moves! Just perfect for those of us who get bored easily! A 10 minute routine is a good way to add on to other workouts. Great vid, Jules!
Hey just subscribed love this starting tonight. Just came from a walk just now. I’m type 2 diabetic I need to loose 70 lbs. Walking 5 days a week on day 3 today wish me luck. I saw that some one committed they do 3 10 min work out of yours thats a great idea, since i need to get 30 mins a day. Thank you
Hi and welcome to my channel! A massive congrats to you for making a plan to walk 5 days a week. Doing 3, 10 min walks is an awesome way to get started. You can split them up as you wish throughout the day, or do them all at once. It's really whatever works for you but splitting them up and doing them after meals will help more with lowering your blood sugar after eating. If you enjoyed this workout, you can find plenty more like this one under the 'gentle level' playlists. I'll add the playlist for you: ua-cam.com/play/PLsPoR5SimhuVbI88eJxFnogCDWNRj-om4.html I would love to read about your progress in the future if you wish to share it!
Thank you so much for this exercise. I’m 75 years old and i just sit and watch TV after i eat dinner. This is really great and it’s not hard . I’m going to try this after dinner. God bless you ❤
I love that you're going to focus on moving after dinner. 10-15 minutes of exercise after dinner will make a big difference long-term. Welcome to my channel, Celine! If you enjoyed this one, you can find plenty more at this same level under the 'gentle level' playlists. I hope you enjoy more of the workouts when you try them out. That's how I look at it too...the shorter burst really helps get you moving and get it in. Like you said, doing it that way really adds it up!! Great job!!
Thank you Jules! When I first started I couldn't walk very far or move very much and your videos made me feel a sense of accomplishment. It has been a transformative journey. @@ImprovedHealth

Recently diagnosed with PCOS, I’ve been doing everything I can to try and control my blood sugar. Really enjoyed this, thank you for making this video :)
I'm so glad to read that you're enjoying these ones. Just so you're aware, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate) and categorize them all into the playlists.
I just had surgery a week ago, but so tired of being idle and wanted to move so I did this gentle walk with you. The 15 sec. Changes made it easy for me and i feel so much better getting the blood flowing. Thanks.
Gosh, I didn't notice you had an after-meal walk video! You're my savior. No long pep-talk and straight to the exercise with great, but GREAT music. I love your videos so much!
LOVE everything about this workout! The music -- kind and gentle; the short intervals with a countdown; walking in place between each interval; the pace -- not too fast! I had already read that 10 mins of walking after meals would help control glucose, but walking outside is not always an option, especially now that, in parts of the U.S. it's colder and, with the time change, dark earlier. So this is the perfect solution. Thank you for offering this gentle walk! Would love more like this for variety!! 😊💙

I am 14 years and I have type 1 diabetes because of covid since 3 years and today I ate cake and I was feeling thirsty like my sugar is 190-200 something when I did this for 10min after sometime I didn't feeled thirsty and when I checked sugar it was 160 means after eating pure choclate cake which is very sweet still you have this sugar
This one was excellent. I had my blood drawn for high cholesterol and some other things, and my numbers came back high. I will be adding in an evening walk daily. Thank you Jules!
I love your videos! I especially like the previews of the next exercise. I used to be in tip top shape until I was without Levaxin and Metformin for a year. My health fell apart to the point that I was fainting in public. I got my medicine back and am working on getting my sugar down but have to start exercising from scratch. 10 minutes to start. Excellent. I appreciate you. Today was my first day exercising.

We've just found your channel while looking for something to do after dinner before slouching in front of the tv for a bit. Absolutely love this 10 minute workout. We've done it every day for 2 weeks now and intend to keep doing it. I'm also doing the 20 minute HIIT workout and finding that really fun too. Thank you so much for doing these videos, they are fabulous.
Oh, thank you so much for your wonderful comment. I'm so glad to read that you're enjoying the variety of workouts and levels. I have Type 2 diabetes and will give this a try after my meals. It seems like a lot of fun. I have noticed after walking after a meal how much my blood sugar drops. Thank you!
What a wonderful workout. I love 15 sec challenges, no talking, motivational notes, music and only 10 minutes videos. Thank you so much !!! ❤ I really committed to do it regularly because I love it ( finally)
Oh, what an awesome comment to read this morning (I especially loved the 'finally' comment). If you enjoyed this one, you can find plenty more like it under the 'gentle level' and 'beginner level' playlists. Congrats for making a commitment to exercising daily!
Love Love Love this! Winter arrived with a vengeance last night in southern Ontario so I just couldn’t face going outside for my lunchtime walk today. I did this after lunch instead. Excellent idea. Thanks Jules!
Love this video! Here’s what I love about it: 1. The counter in the upper right corner of the current exercise 2. What’s next inset 3. The overall timer at the bottom left Sure I can easily do this 3x per day for my blood sugar levels Thank you Improved Health!!
Again, thank you for this 10 minute walking workout!!!! It never gets old with me, I'm glad it's available because sometimes I need the shorter workout. I love also the recommendation in this video to plan for 2-3 workouts in the day --- that sounds doable!! Thank you again!!!!!

Hi, only just come across this one. I have done several different ones you have made but think this is the best one for me. Love the format and the preview so you can carry on without stopping. I like the 15 count down it's so enjoyable therefore I know I will do it more often. Like the suggestion someone made about adding weights. --- keep them coming. Thank you.
Thanks April! This one was just uploaded today. I have been including the window for the last few months now (took me a long time to figure out how to create it!).
Began your 10 minute beginner chair work out a week ago and just done my first post meal walk-out. Didn’t think I’d make it behind half way but kept saying just another set, just one more set. Overweight, unfit elderly and type 2 with rising blood glucose after falling off the keto wagon. I will get there. I’m puffed out but will try and mange one chair and one walking workout a day. Thankyou for all the free videos you have uploaded! Much appreciated!
I LOVE your determination and your plan to do one seated and one standing workout a day. That's a great way to get stronger and to be able to do more. I'm going to add the link to my chair channel since I upload all of my new chair workouts there. I also do some combined standing/seated workouts there. youtube.com/@ImprovedHealthChairWorkouts

Thank you! I am so grateful you just showed up at my UA-cam door. I have increased my outdoor walks from 15 minutes to 30 minutes but feel I need more to regain my health. I do many of your routines and I just finished this one. My after dinner walk. Just want to thank you for all you do to. You bring hope and encouragement to people who might not be exercising. You have made me realize exercise doesn’t have to be hard to be effective. Thanks from a 75 years young grandmother who has always exercised but has had to learn how to adapt due health challenges. Bless you.
Jules you are a gem! I've regularly done a number of your videos now, but they are a bit much for my husband. Found this gentle selection and when I drop speed to .75 he manages to get through them with me quite ok. It's quite fun to do them together. I usually then rewind and do back to a back workout while he does the dishes! Win, win!
I am thrilled to read that you're able to enjoy the workouts together, Christine. Thank you for sharing that with me. I'm going to add a link to my other channel in case some of the workouts will work out well for your husband. I haven't had a lot of time to put up videos consistently on that channel (I work full-time and create videos on the weekend). But, I upload videos there when I can. I create some combo seated/standing workouts that will help him to get stronger. youtube.com/@ImprovedHealthChairWorkouts
Feel good after that walk. Thanks Jules. I started to listen a second time and did most of the exercises in my chair. I got close to 4000 steps. Feels great!!!
After surgery, I was not allowed to do the intensity I had become accustomed to doing here. But I was given permission to do these beginner short ones. Now that I can go back to doing 30-40 minutes, I found these are great for in between. They've also helped me keep up my progress while healing. I missed 5 days while in the hospital and I was so anxious to see your face and move!
Aww, thank you for your sweet comment, Ruth. I'm so glad to know that these gentle workouts are coming in handy for you. I hope you continue to feel better each day.

Appreciate you putting the remaining time. Noticed a lot of these exercise channels don’t do that. I think it’s great for motivation to keep you going when you know there is not much time remaining. Thanks for the exercise 😊
Hi jules, i just finished this workout. I think it was beginning level but wanted to do one before bed so thought I would try this. I never had problems with my blood sugar levels but my recent bloodwork showed my blood sugar was 100 and I have always been under 100. Darn. I love reading your remarks in the top corner, it really helps. Thanks again. celine
I always forget to say thank you. My apologies. Thank you ! I love your 10 minute walks. I do 3-10 minute walks daily and intersperse them with strength training exercises. I particularly like the mixing of walking and specific exercises. Like 30 second sections. So thank you, thank you. So happy to exercise with you. 🥰
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment today. I love your routine of 3-10 minute workouts a day and am very glad to read that you include strength training as well. Thank you for letting me know what you enjoy about the videos:)
Jules! I loved this workout! It’s my first one since before Christmas- I had Covid …thank you for all of these great workouts- and I love all the info and encouragement you give on the side of the video also!!!❤
Thanks Jules! Lots of variety in 10 minutes. Appreciate that. I always say, 10 minutes of exercise with working the whole body is better than nothing. Next I will do your 13 minute stretch routine and then off to bed!
So much happy Thanksgiving to you. I came home tonight after singing a new movie musical in theaters and I was so filled with energy and inspiration is perfect. So appreciate this.
Thank you for your lovely comment, Alison. Are you referring to the movie, 'Wicked'? I saw it last weekend with my girls. I thought it was exceptional with the special effects, music, outfits and I loved the humour included throughout the movie.
Absolutely love your videos, so glad I found them. Have been doing them for months . Love the music and particularly the fact of no talking. Besides your 20 minutes workout which I just finished doing I always do the after meal ones to lower my glucose. Thank you for those wonderful videos!
thank you for your vids, im very obese and i've tried calorie counting so many times and just not lost weight despite everyone saying its the best way. this time im not counting, just eating better, and doing one of these a day, your 25 day strength training and your 20 min walking exercise on the weekends and i already lost 6lb in 3 weeks plus i feel like i can move so much better now. i've got a holiday in june so i'm using that as motivation to keep going and hopefully by then this becomes a habit and if not i'll find the next motivation until it is a habit
I love your new plan! Eating healthy and getting in healthy movement is a fantastic plan (without the struggle of counting calories). I also LOVE how you're adding in strength training since that will help to get your bones and muscles stronger, and help to improve your metabolism. Losing 6 pounds in 3 weeks is also great progress, and making exercise a daily habit is also something I always recommend as well. It sounds like you're doing all the right things! Just keep with the plan you've set, and over time, the weight will keep coming off (and you'll be getting healthier as well). I'd love to read about your progress down the road if you wish to share it:)
thank you SO MUCH for these easy workouts, nothing is more discouraging than feeling you're dying on a more difficult level... and the motivational phrases, it really helps.

I have tried a number of post meal workout vids and they just don't do it for me. They are either too aggressive, too fast and as a result, I don't feel good when I am done. This vid is the first I have found that hits perfectly for me - the music, the tempo, the moves are gentle and switch every 15 seconds. Thank you.

Day 7. Sun 2nd June. I meant to watch your latest video but clicked this by accident after doing a 20 min dance workout and I just jumped straight in and did this one too. I must say that I'm loving your leggings! They're fab! 🤩 I'm already looking forward to doing tomorrow's new video. Thanks a million Jules. Annette x 🎈
Thanks Annette! I've had several people ask me where these leggings are from and I can't remember the company. I bought them off an ad on Instagram. They look nice, but they're too warm for my liking while working out.
Love this!! Been away, haven’t seen you in awhile (hmm, reminds me of an old song…), anyway I have been doing a few things - horse squat being one - but knew I needed to jump back on the walking routine. Not diabetic but understand the logic. And I’ve finally dropped below 150; my doc will be pleased as is my bp. Thank you thank you for your awesome content!! ❤❤
After meals is a great time to do these workouts. My dietician has said that even just walking for 2 minutes after a meal helps balance your blood sugar & these workouts are a great way to expand on that💖
I’m loving your videos. These have been perfect for me as I begin my health journey again. I especially love that you’re not talking throughout. That helps my ADHD brain. ❤
Oh yay, I'm glad to read that you're enjoying the no-talking workouts. Welcome to my channel, and I hope you continue to enjoy the variety of workouts that I create.

Thank you for making these upbeat movement videos! I appreciate you 🙏🏼 Thank you for sharing words of inspiration as well, they really help to keep my motivation where I need it to be! I really am grateful that I can exercise! Many of my friends have pain and limitations from injuries! I am 64 and I am doing my best to manage my type hereditary diabetes! I am showing up for myself and my precious life! This is new to me, I didn’t prioritize myself previously! I thought I was doing as well as everyone else! I wish I had started when I was pre diabetic. I was working and caring for my mother and didn’t have the energy or the mindset at that time. Theses videos that I can do at home are so helpful!
I LOVE what you wrote ('I am showing up for myself and my precious life'). You're working out now, and that is all that matters. Nice! For people with chronic diseases, such as CFS, fibromyalgia, or these days long-Covid, or with other severe and debilitating conditions 10 minutes is often the maximum we could possibly exercise in one go (often less). More of this short snippet approach to choose from would be really appreciated, On the grounds that something is very much better than nothing.
Thank you for your great comment. I create the gentle workouts for the reasons you mentioned since I know it can be hard for people to do more challenging or longer workouts. Thank you so much for doing these videos, they are fabulous.
Oh, thank you so much for your wonderful comment. I'm so glad to read that you're enjoying the variety of workouts and levels. It sounds like you already figured out that I create 3 levels of workouts. Just so you know, they are all categorized into the playlists. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, and I hope you continue to enjoy what I create into 2025. Welcome to my channel!
Right now, they’re the best exercise routines for me!
Thanks for letting me know.
I loved this. I will recommend your channel to my patients. I like the motivation you provide. God Bless you more!!
I really appreciate that. Thank you so much. Just to let you know, I also have a seated channel where I now upload all new seated workouts. I'll add the link for you to give to your clients. They're great workouts for seniors or for beginners starting out. youtube.com/@ImprovedHealthChairWorkouts
I have Type 2 diabetes and will give this a try after my meals. It seems like a lot of fun. I have noticed after walking after a meal how much my blood sugar drops. Thank you!
I hope you enjoy it! I have plenty more like this one in my playlists under gentle and beginner level workouts.
@@ImprovedHealth after doing this quick and fun 'walk' my blood glucose dropped quite a bit! Thank you.
Excellent! Thanks so much for letting me know. @@SammifromMiami
Love you and your routines. Seventy and thriving ❤️🙂❤️
Aww, love your comment. Thank you so much.🫂
It’s great i do every day thanks.
I'm glad to know that you're enjoying this one!
Love Love Love this! Winter arrived with a vengeance last night in southern Ontario so I just couldn’t face going outside for my lunchtime walk today. I did this after lunch instead. Excellent idea. Thanks Jules!
I hear you...it's mighty cold here in Ottawa today, too:( Thanks for letting me know that you enjoyed this one.
Love this video! Here’s what I love about it:
1. The counter in the upper right corner of the current exercise
2. What’s next inset
3. The overall timer at the bottom left
Sure I can easily do this 3x per day for my blood sugar levels
Thank you Improved Health!!
Thanks for your great feedback, Heather. I'll have a new one similar to this uploaded tomorrow.
I love this format!
So easy to follow!
Thanks for the feedback!
Another excellent workout 😊
Thanks, Jules!
Again, thank you for this 10 minute walking workout!!!! It never gets old with me, I'm glad it's available because sometimes I need the shorter workout. I love also the recommendation in this video to plan for 2-3 workouts in the day --- that sounds doable!! Thank you again!!!!!
Thanks for letting me know that you enjoy this one, Heather. I have a similar one. I have a similar one coming out on Monday.
Thank you I am 62 I started yesterday I am so happy

Thanks so much for your feedback, Beverley. I appreciate it!
tested this claim out as to reducing blood sugar - sugar was 146 right after lunch, did this workout, retested and I was 119!! thank you!
Excellent:) Thanks for sharing how it helped.
I love this routine, it is great to start the day with. Also works great as a warmup or even a cooldown from doing cardio.
I just used it for a cool down these past few days. Love it for that purpose 🙂🤗
My goodness this was superb. Loved the picture in picture, no talking, great speed for seniors. Fabulous thank you🐞
Thank you!!! I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate). If you'd like more like this one, you can find more in the 'gentle level' playlists. Welcome to my channel! I hope you enjoy more of the workouts when you try them out.
Thank you! I am so grateful you just showed up at my UA-cam door. I have increased my outdoor walks from 15 minutes to 30 minutes but feel I need more to regain my health. I am senior and glucose just became a major issue. We are calling it a long medical winter that we don't want to repeat ever. I am subscribed and ready to go!

Bless you.
Thank you for your incredibly kind comment, Kathryn. I read it 3 times to really take it in.🫂
Thank you, Jules!!
Congrats on 4000 steps!!!
Excellent workout! Loved 🥰 the music!
Found your video today Its too encouraging, no talk only walk and great music, your smile and energy are also infectious !!

Thank you for letting me know:) I'm so glad that you enjoy it.
@@ImprovedHealthAlways doing this. It's a habit already.😁
@@ceemitchie890 Excellent to read that it's now a habit.💖
Appreciate you putting the remaining time. Noticed a lot of these exercise channels don’t do that. I think it’s great for motivation to keep you going when you know there is not much time remaining. Thanks for the exercise 😊
That's great feedback...thank you!
Hullo Jules..I hope you are feeling much better today! "sending you best wishes to shake off the remnants of the flu and bounce back soon. Take care💖
Thanks Anuradha. I went to work, but struggled. Hopefully I'll have more energy tomorrow:)
@@ImprovedHealth tomorrow will be better, take care!
Thanks again. celine
Even though it says it's to lower blood sugar, it's still totally suitable for anyone wanting gentle exercise.
LOVE this routine!! Thanks so much. Changing moves every 15 seconds is fun.
Thanks Sandra!
Thank you god bless you love it works for me ❤😂
I'm thankful for this channel too.
Thanks for sharing that, Patrice.@@patricedixon2634
Jules! I loved this workout! It’s my first one since before Christmas- I had Covid …thank you for all of these great workouts- and I love all the info and encouragement you give on the side of the video also!!!❤
So glad to read that you're feeling better and able to exercise again!
Thanks Jules! Lots of variety in 10 minutes. Appreciate that. I always say, 10 minutes of exercise with working the whole body is better than nothing. Next I will do your 13 minute stretch routine and then off to bed!
Yes, so true!
Love your variety of after meal short walks. Thank you!
Thank you so much Jules. I love exercising with you.
Thank you Joy!
Thank you! I'm really enjoying your level 1 no talking videos. I appreciate how you're highlighting the benefits of exercising after eating.
Thanks for sharing that with me, Robyn.
Thank you , I have foot issues so these shorter routines are great .
Thank you! I’m glad these are helping.
Absolutely love your videos, so glad I found them. Have been doing them for months . Love the music and particularly the fact of no talking. Besides your 20 minutes workout which I just finished doing I always do the after meal ones to lower my glucose.
Thank you for those wonderful videos!
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment today. It's definitely appreciated.❤️
Thanks a lot! It's easy to follow for me as a senior😊
Thanks for your feedback.

Thank you Jules. It is a great warm up before starting Week 2 of the 25 days of strength. Have a great week Jules.
Thanks Laura. Wishing you a great week as well.
@@ImprovedHealth thank you.
Day 2 walking with you. I did 5 short workouts today. I esp loved this walk. Thank you!
Kudos to you for making it back for day 2!
thank you for your vids, im very obese and i've tried calorie counting so many times and just not lost weight despite everyone saying its the best way. this time im not counting, just eating better, and doing one of these a day, your 25 day strength training and your 20 min walking exercise on the weekends and i already lost 6lb in 3 weeks plus i feel like i can move so much better now. i've got a holiday in june so i'm using that as motivation to keep going and hopefully by then this becomes a habit and if not i'll find the next motivation until it is a habit
Another A+, happy face, star! Instead of a manic Monday, you made it a magical Monday.
Aww, thanks Chris!!!🥰
thank you SO MUCH for these easy workouts, nothing is more discouraging than feeling you're dying on a more difficult level... and the motivational phrases, it really helps.

I'm already looking forward to doing tomorrow's new video.

Thank you Jules You are right When i feel down exercice Make me feel better God bless you 🙏🥰
Great after meal workout. Thank you!

Kudos to you for finding a workout that would work for you today. I hope you feel better soon:)
I love that you have these ten minute videos... it's easy to fit it in, and easier for me to do three different ones than 30 min all at once. It's also good for my knees!! Thank you. I love this back drop, by the way... lol :)

I think you'll be surprised by how quickly you'll progress and how much stronger and fitter you will become.
