Saw my Dr today with the results of my last bloodtest - I am no longer pre-diabetic!! I've lost 7 kg and my cholesterol is way down too - thanks April and Aiko for encouraging me to do better xx
How can that happen ? I have walked a lot doing 35-45 cardio 5-6 days a week N I’m still pre- diabetic , and triglycerides high , eating veggies , chicken , fish , healthy all the time . And I’m only 53 yrs old.
@@roxannacastro3169 I'm no dietician, but maybe look at portion sizes and carb intake? I do the same cardio but also weight/strength workouts 30mins 5 x times a week. I've cut out wine (except for special occasions) and used to eat a lot of cheese and dairy, and never snack between meals. I'm 67 years old. But what works for one person won't always work for everyone, so best of luck finding what works for you :)

Thank you for this workout. Diabetics are advised to go for a 15-minute walk after a meal, but sometimes that is not possible, especially in the winter months when it gets dark early and the weather is poor. This workout can be done when you can't get outside. Thank you again.

I am feeling pretty proud! Not only did i complete your 15 min workout for the first time, but this week i also did 2 ‘real’ outdoor walks of 20 mins each! LOVED this! ❤❤❤ More workouts like this, please. Im a big fan of compact, 5-15 minute no repeat workouts, mainly because I can't use the "no time" or "too tired" excuse. Even though I've only committed to10-minute workouts for now, I decided to go ahead and try this new 15-minute workout this morning after watching it several times yesterday. I found it both challenging and enjoyable, and a good choice to follow up my previous days' workouts. 🙂

I have tried exercising in the past but always felt embarrassed or didn’t want people to look at me but now I don’t care thanks to your videos. I’m able to do some amazing new interesting fun exercises at home in my living room with some weights which I’ve added. Going to see if I can up from a 2 pound weight to like a 3 or 4 over time. I’m really enjoying the videos with you and your mom and it makes exercising so much funner and know that you can do these exercises just about anywhere in your home or even outside depending on the weather. There were some novel moves in this one which peaked my interest. This routine really got my heart rate up because I moved as fast as I could, and my punches were REAL: hard and woe to anyone who stood in front of me! I like the no repeat design of this one! I've never had so much fun working out before. I certainly do feel like both my body and my brain is getting a good workout as I learn new moves. Thank you both for inspiring me and keeping me going. I really like the countdown timer so I know we are getting close to cooldown and that prompts me to keep going just a little longer when I know it's almost finished.

Hello ladies, I used to be very active but life got in the way. My doctor said I'm pre-diabetic, borderline high cholesterol and Kidney issues. The best thing is work on diet and exercise. I did start watching your video yesterday and after the workout, I felt good. I had so much energy during day that I was able to clean my house and I haven't been able to that for awhile. Today, I did the exercises and I feel great! I will continue on my healthy journey by watching your videos. Thank you so much, ladies!

I've had Parkinson's for over 20 years. I am 55. Exercise is key to my being able to move and function. I live in canada and today it is-50°C so my car wouldn't start. I couldn't get to the gym so I decided to try an online workout. I came across yours and watched it first. I love your energy! I tried the workout and although I looked ridiculous (hencenovideo) and had difficulty with repetitive movements, I really enjoyed it. Marching was very difficult for me but I did my best. I got my heart rate up to 135. That's amazing for me. Using the gym cardio equipment I can only get it to the mid 90s. Im off to try your yoga. Thank you so much for doing this.

LOVE IT!!! When I don't have enough time to do a 5K walk or one of your many other exercises, this at least alleviates any guilt of not doing anything at all. I coupled it with another 18-minute routine and feel great. Thanks to the two of you for offering many class choices!

I do the 5000 steps in the morning and the 15 min walk to lower bp and bs.My bp and bs are good but it does not hurt to exercise to prevent high bp and high blood sugars.thanks a million .

I have just out from the hospital but I want to join because my BP is always high I was not able to join in exercising daily because of unavoidable things but I felt that my body is becoming weak that's why I have to join exercising again. Hi April..i loved this walk video..got me dewy as well..iv been walking wit a group of ladies..all much younger than me...lots of uphills n a few downhills..i have problem knees..left knee has been painig for about 2 years..i use kneeguards...but now pain is starting on my left knee..uphills are fine on knees ..downhills a bit challenging..

Great video for my month off exercising. I had no heat for 3 weeks. Gas company took forever to get the part for it.I did walk when I could. I did this video and walked while watching a video on UA-cam. I will get keeping up with videos. I did miss it.

Saw my Dr today with the results of my last bloodtest - I am no longer pre-diabetic!! I've lost 7 kg and my cholesterol is way down too - thanks April and Aiko for encouraging me to do better xx
How can that happen ? I have walked a lot doing 35-45 cardio 5-6 days a week
N I’m still pre- diabetic , and triglycerides high , eating veggies , chicken , fish , healthy all the time .
And I’m only 53 yrs old.
@@roxannacastro3169 I'm no dietician, but maybe look at portion sizes and carb intake? I do the same cardio but also weight/strength workouts 30mins 5 x times a week. I've cut out wine (except for special occasions) and used to eat a lot of cheese and dairy, and never snack between meals. I'm 67 years old. But what works for one person won't always work for everyone, so best of luck finding what works for you :)

Thank you for this workout. Diabetics are advised to go for a 15-minute walk after a meal, but sometimes that is not possible, especially in the winter months when it gets dark early and the weather is poor. This workout can be done when you can't get outside. Thank you again.

I have tried exercising in the past but always felt embarrassed or didn’t want people to look at me but now I don’t care thanks to your videos. I’m able to do some amazing new interesting fun exercises at home in my living room with some weights which I’ve added. Going to see if I can up from a 2 pound weight to like a 3 or 4 over time. I’m really enjoying the videos with you and your mom and it makes exercising so much funner and know that you can do these exercises just about anywhere in your home or even outside depending on the weather. There were some novel moves in this one which peaked my interest. This routine really got my heart rate up because I moved as fast as I could, and my punches were REAL: hard and woe to anyone who stood in front of me! I like the no repeat design of this one! I've never had so much fun working out before. I certainly do feel like both my body and my brain is getting a good workout as I learn new moves. Thank you both for inspiring me and keeping me going. I really like the countdown timer so I know we are getting close to cooldown and that prompts me to keep going just a little longer when I know it's almost finished.

Hello ladies, I used to be very active but life got in the way. My doctor said I'm pre-diabetic, borderline high cholesterol and Kidney issues. The best thing is work on diet and exercise. I did start watching your video yesterday and after the workout, I felt good. I had so much energy during day that I was able to clean my house and I haven't been able to that for awhile. Today, I did the exercises and I feel great! I will continue on my healthy journey by watching your videos. Thank you so much, ladies!

I've had Parkinson's for over 20 years. I am 55. Exercise is key to my being able to move and function. I live in canada and today it is-50°C so my car wouldn't start. I couldn't get to the gym so I decided to try an online workout. I came across yours and watched it first. I love your energy! I tried the workout and although I looked ridiculous (hencenovideo) and had difficulty with repetitive movements, I really enjoyed it. Marching was very difficult for me but I did my best. I got my heart rate up to 135. That's amazing for me. Using the gym cardio equipment I can only get it to the mid 90s. Im off to try your yoga. Thank you so much for doing this.

So glad I found your channel. thank you for posting it. You both are inspirations to me. I take you with me even on my cruise for 16 days. I do the 5000 steps in the morning and the 15 min walk to lower bp and bs.My bp and bs are good but it does not hurt to exercise to prevent high bp and high blood sugars.thanks a million .

I have just out from the hospital but I want to join because my BP is always high I was not able to join in exercising daily because of unavoidable things but I felt that my body is becoming weak that's why I have to join exercising again. Hi April..i loved this walk video..got me dewy as well..iv been walking wit a group of ladies..all much younger than me...lots of uphills n a few downhills..i have problem knees..left knee has been painig for about 2 years..i use kneeguards...but now pain is starting on my left knee..uphills are fine on knees ..downhills a bit challenging..

Great video for my month off exercising. I had no heat for 3 weeks. Gas company took forever to get the part for it.I did walk when I could. I did this video and walked while watching a video on UA-cam. I will get keeping up with videos. I did miss it.
