Do a video on comfort for pets. I have Great Pyrenees and my Forester is ok, but a little noisy, with outdated navigation, and the dogs are not that comfortable in the back. I want a safe, comfortable SUV, with enough room in the back that my dogs can stand and turn around without stepping on each other.
@@mblessed22 . You can sell a young person's car to an old person. But the other way doesn't work so well. What young person wants an old person's car (Avalon, for example). So always promote your product as appealing to young people.
@susansackrison3139 no, I'm not obese at all. When I need an SUV I'd better step out of life because then I must feel 160 years old and look 200+. I meant: many people accept they're old and give up as an excuse. Become obese and have to buy an SUV.
And if the senior wants to pull it behind their RV…none of the 5 qualify as it would tear up their engine/transmission and “recreational towing” is explicitly prohibited in the owners manual.
Sorry all if a vehicle can't do 0-60 in the 7 second range and the 1/4 in 15 second range this is surely not SAFE. JUST IMAGINE ONE PERSON IN THE CAR AND 🚗 A/C OR WINDOWS OPEN/ 2 OR MORE PEOPLE / ITEMS IN THE TRUNK. JUST LOOK AT WHAT THE MANUFACTURER SAYS. THOSE NUMBERS SURELY DROP. ****
Be careful shopping out there. My advice below: If it has a turbo, move on. If it has a sleazy mechanical CVT, move on. If it has direct fuel injection without port injection, move on. The vehicles that I am sure fit this description are Toyota hybrids with the HSD system (Hybrid Synergy Drive). Which includes Mazda CX50 hybrid. Some Ford hybrids may also have these features. Plus the hsd hybrids have no belts (accessory timing or Wet). No annoying start/stop system. No 11 speed torque converter automatic. No automated manual transmission. No torque converter. No 12 Volt starter or alternator. No mechanically driven AC compressor (it's electric like your home refrigerator). Electric car goodness without the electric car drawbacks.
Danny. Intriguing comments. Thanks. I got a bit confused though when you said “…the vehicles that fit this description”. Are you saying to “move on” re HSD? Or is HSD good? Thanks.
@vennie951 . I could have worded it better. HSD is the name of Toyota's hybrid system without turbos. My hsd 2013 Prius avoids the bad things I mentioned. It's replacement (someday) will most likely be have the Camry hybrid drive train. Which also avoids the bad things. My 2013 Mustang has many of these good features also. No direct injection at all. No sleazy mechanical CVT. No start/stop system. But it does have an accessory belt. Toyota direct injected engines also get port injection. Port injection keeps the intake valves clean. Avoiding the additional cost of walnut blasting.
These are all popular choices however you are missing two variables that throw a wrench into your assumption, one is these are all popular choices this priced for new models thave been jacked up by a third more than usual pre 2019 prices and two that every person has that kind of money to drop on a new car.
What is your image of "seniors" ? It sounds like all have same needs, same taste, same resources, same abilities. Next video : "5 cars young people should buy" ?
I recently purchased a used Honda CRV. What I do not like is all this electronics on lane changing and associated junk. I have been driving for 60+ years and know what I am doing. I do not need this driver Ed stuff!
The Subaru Forester is the easiest to get into of all these and it's a great car.
What year? What about the variable transmission
I loved the Cat in the Lexus.. absolutely warm.
Thank you for sharing. ☺️

Any recommendations on the Lexus RX 350 vs Volvo XC 60 2025 or 2024?
Please add the prices for each SUV
They didn’t mean senior citizens rather it is for senior drivers.
I thing keeping Lane assist is a must have for Seniors !
Better for youngsters; they can stay busy on their phones.
Not going to listen to videos with AI voices.

You will have to get a much larger vehicle like Ascent ! But it is a turbo and not great on fuel !
I'll take the MercGLC coupe
No seniors shown only younger people 🤷♀️

The last one driving the Lexus is actor Hiroyuki Sanada, he's 64 😉
all those are good cars...but waht about MB GLC, Volvo xc40 or xc 60 , DS 7....from which country are you ?
You should at least make senior drive in video 😅
Yes, of course. I've given up on life. Now I'm 55+, obese, can't move and buy this SUV without hesitation.
What a world...
Which SUV
@Krankinproductions which SUV? A 2 door cabrio SUV...
You don’t need to be obese. Try carnivore diet Dr Ken Berry. It’s amazing.

Forester is the best to get in and out !

Genesis G70 rocks!
Not the best motor !
Seniors? What's that all about throughout the whole video?
No hybrids. Batteries and voltage effects on biological cells are relatively unknown.
Ageism at its worst.
Kia Sportage
Honda CRV
Toyota RAV4
Lexus NX
Mazda CX90
Diese Autos sind zu lange, darum nicht geeignet für Senioren???

Battery on electric vehicles in Cold weather or snow what happens if it goes dead. Bring blankets

Coches muy grandes y caros. Las personas mayores viajan con una o dos personas y necesitan coches modernos pero mas pequeños.

And you’d better get off my lawn
Mazda is the only car in this comparison! The others are crap!
You just called my NX crap? I’m certain it will outlast any Mazda. I like Mazda, by the way. If Lexus nor Toyota didn’t exist, I’d buy Mazda.
C’est lassant de répéter que tous ces véhicules sont plus faciles d’accès que des voitures standard! Ce sont tous des VUS! 😂
Granny?In old age as a driver ?
I'm not your brother.
Makes a lot of assumptions about seniors. Very biased and anti senoior.
I have to agree. No gray hair in the drivers ! At 80 I am on my 4th Forester !
