  • This 15 minute beginner walk is great for lowering your blood sugars. Walk at home while taking control of your diabetes and getting healthier one day at a time. This walk is great for anyone wanting to get in more steps (whether you have diabetes or not). Total step count today is 1530 steps.
    Making exercise a regular part of your life is one of the best things you can do to manage and live well with diabetes. Physical activity is the fastest way to lower blood sugars without medication. Exercise lowers insulin resistance and helps your body convert glucose into energy.     I want to thank you. I have been doing your workouts for about 2 months now. I started with the beginner fun music videos and have worked myself up to 15 sec intervals and now 30 second intervals. I went for a 45 min walk today with a friend and she was completely out of breath and having difficulty talking and walking at the same time and I realized I used to be like that. But today I wasn't short of breath at all. I was so amazed and proud of myself. I have thanks to your help added to the weight loss I started about four months ago and feel energetic and so much healthier. I never miss a day because it makes me feel so good. Who thought this was possible at 63. Thanks again.

    I've heard it's good for blood sugar to walk after your meals, so I've been trying to do that. Since I'm visually impaired and we live on a country road with no shoulders, I don't feel safe walking outside. Videos like this are a perfect solution for me.     This video is so great for a day like today when I started a new job (at age 65), and am feeling overloaded with the onboarding process. I don't have to choose to do a longer workout, but can add what I learned from the Tabata workout and do 20-second spurts in this video. So good for clearing the head. Thank you, Jules.     Great 15 min workouts by you. I do these after meal to help with gestation diabetes and every single time it’s helped bring down numbers , of course I’m on low carb and portion controlled diet.

    My younger sister is diabetic but to look at her nobody would know as she's always been fit and slender.
    I've been tested over the years as it runs in the women of my family and thankfully I'm not diabetic and intend keeping it that way by following your advice and life changing workouts. 💕💕💕

    Loved this easy going workout for today. I have you to thank for helping me to get off my diabetic medication. Your variety of programs help me with strength, flexibility, cardio, stretching, etc. I love your short videos because I am able to do a variety in one day. I have to do 2 workouts for my sciatica and degenerative arthritis on my back every morning to not feel like the Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz, but after that I'm all set for my 5 minute warm up, strength, core, and cardio workouts with you. Thank you for all the choices you give us! 🥰

    I have been tuning in to your channel for a couple weeks now and doing some of the workouts. I love the 60s and 70s music. Today is the first day I was able to complete the full workout! I'm 73 and coming back into health after a medical issue. Your workouts and music are assisting me to reach my goals!       Hi Jade, thanks so much for subscribing recently. I labelled this one as lowering blood sugars but ALL cardio workouts will help to lower your blood sugar. You can pick and choose any cardio workout and it'll help. If you liked this level, you can go under my playlists, and look for the 'gentle level walking workouts' or the 'beginner level walking workouts'. Once you find the ones you like, you can pick and choose any. If those are too easy, you can head to the 'intermediate level' workouts.

      Hi! I never have ads in my workouts unless they are ones using copyrighted music (the popular music). When copyrighted music is used, the music companies earn the income from the videos and they choose to put ads in those ones.

    15, 01 2024 HI Jules, I hope you have completely recovered and your energy is back. After two days in the blues l am happy again. l did this one, l missed the leg exercises, there were very few. l like when it changes quickly 20 seconds is usually enough for me.     I am 70 years old with a part time job as a floral assistant. I was having pain in my upper back due to that job, so I started doing your chair stretchs for seniors about 2 months ago. It has helped so much. I also do your gentle exercise of waking and different moves. I was wondering if you have exercises to improve my balance? Thanks for help. Mary

    Since is this is a low impact workout, I was able to do it in my pool. No moves overhead; I would have had a wet head. You could use webbed gloves, buoys, and wear pool shoes in the pool to protect your feet. Also a pool noodles might work for some of moves. I was in chest height water.

      I'm glad this one worked. I think since you'll have the resistance in the pool, the gentle or beginner workouts will definitely work much better than the intermediate level.

    First time watching great video love the music although didn't know what the song saying but I enjoyed every bit of it I am diabetic so my doctor told me to exercise and I really do enjoy this workout I will make it a point to of my duties to do it keep up the good work.

    Hi Jules. I'm 51 years old and i found your channel about 2 weeks ago. Started this cardio workout this morning. I'm so happy i found you, as i am battling both Ankylosing Spondylitis and Sciatica, for 9 years. I'm in intense pain.       I have the same medical conditions as you, plus I have scoliosis. I do these workouts twice a day, plus tai chi and pilates, and they all help me manage the pain. 💪🏽

    Hi Jules, the video to lower blood suger. I just did it but I drink sleepy time tea and did after the workout. ls this supposd to be done once you are done eating and ready to go to bed? I'm sorry this sound silly. Wow I did a cardio and wieght exercise today and was soooo out of breath but it was great. thanks!!!! Celine

      Hi Celine! Honestly, you can do this workout at any time of the day, but if you have diabetes, it's great to get in exercise 30-90 min after eating. All of my 10-15 min workouts can be done anytime and will still be beneficial. Congrats for working out earlier in the day as well!

      Hi! I do have a few 5 minute warm-up/cool-down videos which I believe are under the beginner workouts. You could use those, or if you feel you still want more than what I offer, another suggestion would be to walk in place until your heart rate comes down more. Lastly, you could also use any of the 'gentle level' workouts as a cool-down (I have quite a few 10 minute walks which would work well).     11, 02 2024 Hi Jules, I want to share with you my joys today. I woke up rigid and in pain with sciatica. I did a 15 minutes standing abs with Andrea a Rumanian UA-cam trainer. Her easiest exercises are usually too tough for me, she moves fast, always, and some moves are not easy although most are, but she does 40 seconds for each and that is too much for me. But today, I could do it mostly, occasionally I stopped or walked instead or let my arms down or alternated, because she does one side 40 sec and then the other 40 sec and that's tough. But it went quite well. I had made a nice pasta with prawn, sweet corn and tartar sauce and it was yummy. I went for a walk beforehand for about 40 minutes and afterwards I saw this one with you and got back to it, after dinner and I have just finished. So, I feel accomplished today as for exercises. And I warmed my back with the electric blanket so my sciatica is gone for now. But can I ask you something? What do you mean checking our blood sugar levels before an after eating? You mean we should prick ourselves 6 times a day like poor diabetics?Have a nice evening!

    Love this! Just combined it with one of the 10 min after dinner walks to get in some gentle exercise before bed and to push myself over 12000 steps for the day.     Rainy day in my neck of the woods. My post lunch blood sugar was 137. I did this routine, and then immediately rechecked my blood sugar. The reading was 89! I am very pleased with that result. I got this! Thank you!!!!!!!
