This is why they have such a good refund policy, not having one was going to cause the Australian government to deny them business rights in Australia (ACCC), and during court proceedings in Australia, Valve realised they should just offer a 2 hour refund policy worldwide.
Australians can refund our games at any time as long as the reason matches up with the state of the game.
I got refunds for Destiny 2 content and other games where Australian servers were removed and we were forced to join China's servers full of cheaters. I won't play in Asia, it's clear their culture permits dishonorability.

@@FraustyyThe difference between Starfield and something like Cyberpunk is that most of Cyberpunk's launch flaws stemmed from the fact that it was forced out unfinished. Which gave them room to, well, finish it. Starfield wasn't unfinished. It was just made by a studio that has lost its touch.

They are NOT issuing refunds. A refund is when you get your money back.
What they're doing is giving you store credit. You can use that store credit to buy something else from them, yes, but at the end of the day you never actually get your money back.
This is important to point out from a sense of being factual, but the end point remains the same that the game was such a failure that people are getting forms of reimbursement from it being so bad. But your clarification is important for sure.

Suicide Squad is a game that I'd gladly give a shot if it was on the Gamepass (which I've had for several years now). But as a stand-alone game it simply doesn't attact me for that full price. What a shame, but my mind hasn't changed: If they'd release it on Gamepass tomorrow I'll gladly spend an sunday afternoon on it to see if it's any fun.

Now what’s funny is that is they are offering fairly hefty discounts for the game now too. On steam it’s going for 40 percent off on both additions and GameStop is offering it for 20 dollars less.
I just hope this doesn't affect Wonder Woman. From the info I have found, it is gonna be a fun game using the Nemesis System (SoM/SoW series) from Monolith.
The main difference is that Cyberpunk could be fixed... and, eventually, it was. This dumpster fire can't. Refunds for Cyberpunk were a gamble on that quite likely, refunds for this are... refunds.
It's rough because this genre has insane potential like we've seen in the past but this sort of performance is just going to stop companies from creating these types of games. It's pretty sad that singleplayer genres are dying because it's hard to microtransaction a game that isn't multiplayer, and they make so much more from microtransactions than game sales

i personally really enjoy the SS: KTJL its a fun addicting game that just needs more content and for the bugs / issues to be fixed
A bit ago there was a sell and they were selling kill the justice league for like 90% off.
Big difference between cyberpunk and suicide squad is that cdproject actually went straight to work on fixing it and didn't bash the fanbase for all the backlash.

i'm playing an MMO from the early 2000's on avg we get about 1k players, peak holiday event 3.6k players.
At least, Cyberpunk came out with an actually good story

I like the game from what ive played in my cousins but in no way shud this ever be £60 hence ill wait till its really cheap or on ps plus.
It has so much potential aswell 😞
I dont even mind it being live service due to the offline patch coming later, its just that its a 6/10 game while it couldve been a 8-10/10 Justice League game.
Game is already on sale on Steam. 40% off.
It will be fun to see how Harry Potter's Quidditch game as a service does.
