Because actual people, who actually go out and socialize when they are in their teens and childhood, extremely rarely turn out like this. It's hard to not see people as, well, people, if you are used to being around all kind of people from a young age. But when mom home schools you and your only interaction with the world is through social media, it's super easy to get just absolutely... disconnected from reality.

People will casually express the most hateful, psychopathic and violent thoughts possible, all because they don't like someone else's opinions. That's the problem with their beliefs. Instead of focusing on individual examples of actual discrimination, they are assuming every *X* person is racist which is pure racism. They take stupid actions in which they berate, insult and threaten normal people and those normal people start feeling uneasy - like they're actually in a conflict with the people attacking them, which then causes them to respond in kind. Racism breeds racism. (Like you can read in comments under this post "I take *THEIR* threats seriously".)
The only way for this vicious circle to stop is to focus on individual blatant lawbreaking examples (beatings, discrimination in hires, threats) and explain why that's wrong without exacerbating the situation.
