What I had to do to get that sensor unplugged from the harness was unmount the main plug from the body of the car, "it's like plastic clips that hold the wire to the body under the wheel well and to the knuckle." Than I got one hand on the plug and turned it so the red clip was facing verticle down towards the ground, I took a very long flat head put it down between the computer and the brake reservoir and pushed the red clip down until I heard a click, than I had to get both my hands in where the air box goes with one arm tied around the dipstick tube for the trans, have a hand on each side of the plug, now between the red piece you push down and the plug there should be a very tiny black tab that became revealed, now you have to push down on that and than you can unplug it.
Hopefully that makes sense and helps. It's hard to describe but it should at least put you in the right direction.

The ballpoint nut is called a castle nut.

Castle nuts look like a castle but instead the Carter pin goes through. The first nut he took off was a locking nut that has nylon ball joints tie rods ect
