Yeah, it’s quite risky because arowanas can be pretty temperamental. Mine has been pretty good so far. He’s very quick and greedy when it’s feeding time though. I just want the viewers to know that I am watching my fish closely

Yeah, that’s funny. I was gonna say in the video that I can’t put the heater in the sump. My heater is a 300 watt heater and it’s almost as tall as the main tank so there’s no way it’s going to fit in the sump tank
My friend love the setup. If I may give you some advice. Why don’t you get a power head of at least 800 to 1200 gph, attach ur siphoning house to it. This will help with water 💦 changes & filling tank backup. Majority of these pumps you can control both return & output to tank. Ask your LFS to get you ☝️👍. Trust me it will make it easier on you. I have pumps to help me and I’ve done it before. It’s just too troublesome to plug in and out. And when I take the pump out of the water, it makes a huge puddle on the floor

Maybe some beneficial sump bacteria may get above the water level but if you have lots of media it could be fine? Just curious, I don't have a sump but would like to set one up in the Future. Thanks. Thank you. Sorry, I didn’t quite understand your question on the sump tank. I Guess I can take and refill from the sump but I prefer doing it from the main tank as I can get the larger pieces of debris out

I would like to eventually set up a sump to try and eliminate heavy lifting, and was wondering if this is how others do it.

My angelfish badly injured when i put them together with arowarna about 1 month later. For the meet, they looks friendly together... But after that, the arowarna keep chasing an angel fish around.. Then died...
Love the Koi Angels, they are stunning. I feel bad for them they keep getting robbed by the asian arowana. @3:35 the Koi Angel looks like it would be saying "Aww that was mine, you bully!".

I succeeded putting angels with my aro…until my arrow got 2 and 1/2 feet and one day…..the angels….look like food….and it started eating and killing the angels….I had 12 huge Koi angels like you
That's an interesting combination indeed.I was expecting catfish but it was angelfish.I've seen angelfish being kept with arowana as well with the arowana being a silver arowana at that.The angelfish that were with them were Manacapuru Angelfish and were huge individuals though.
One fish i really hate arowana fish . horrible things eat every thing in sight .few years down the road and where have my angels gone? arowanas grow fast .

I am amazed at how you have your pump set up so well. I think the Angels and the Arowana are doing fine together, I'd put a discus in with them next.

Buy more if your tank size permits. I have 9 angelfish with my arowana and I think it lowers the chance of conflict.
