    Hey Ryo I really like how the fish room is coming up. Everything is on point, the only pointer I could give you is, on your rack do leave a gap in between the rows of two. Two should always start from both corners of the stand for maximum stability and load distribution. But that’s just me, loved the idea of pomiz stone under the soil. 👍

    Awesome video! One suggestion: try to strap your CO2 cylinders down so they are safe (or at least put them in a bucket so they don’t tip over). If the top ever were to break off, then all that compressed air can send one through the wall of a building. It’s pretty crazy and something fish stores don’t usually tell you lol. I had to learn that from my chemistry professor in college.

    And so the addiction takes hold. Not that this a bad thing. Have been there and had about 30 tanks of varying sizes at one stage. And loved every minute of it. I think those little hedge plants in your garden are a Buxous (apologies for my spelling on that). That are is looking great. It can be hard growing plants in shady areas.

    Hope to see a super ish tank soon

    volcanic mineral (pommes stones) should be used of a substrate (soil) height of 15cm or more. below it is ok to go just for soil, there will flow enough water threw the substrate.

    heat the tip of the hose with hot water to soften, then try fit on the glass pipes it may fit real tight!
    if this don't work then you chose 1 or 2 ; )
    cheers

    • @RyoWatanabee
      @RyoWatanabee  4 роки тому

      Yes, but it’s not supposed to be fit on like that for glass lily pipes. For glass lily pipes, the hoses are made to the exact sizing so that there is no chance of slippage

    Just came back to watching your videos and gotta say im still very impressed by ur aquariums.
    I have a hard time doing water changes on my 10 gal. Aquarium without getting the soil do basically cloud up the whole tank. Any advice on how to do water changes so I can avoid this?? If not what soil would you recommend using that doesnt do this???

      Try taking less than 50% of your water out without disturbing the bottom layer.
      You don't want to take more than half out at a time anyway.
