The 5 Pits Trail : The Ponds in Tibshelf, Derbyshire.

When Tibshelf coal mine closed, Derbyshire County Council transformed this area in the 1980's into a beautiful area for the public to go on walks, there is also a picnic area and fishing.This is now part of the 5 pits trail. The ponds is where Tibshelf coal mine used to be but over the years it flooded. Hence the ponds.
