- We go fishing and end up hooking into a couple of huge fish. Big thanks to everyone who's watched our fishing films the last year it's been an amazing time. We were joined on this fishing trip by @dazgames check out his channel!

When I was a kid, on a family fishing trip, I caught a huge catfish and the camp host took a pic. Two weeks later, I was on the second page of Western Outdoors fishing news paper. That was 1976 I believe, I still have a copy today. Fishing has been my life since I was 5 years old and caught my first bluegill. That was 50 years ago! Damn, how fast it's gone by. cheers from ca.

Yeah all fishing is fun but I'd definitely love to have a go for catfish, I'm guessing we must have some places in England now where some must be up near a 100lb by now, ive never checked UK record but I'm sure some lakes must have big cats these days.
@@mattgosling2657 there is a place next to hull with a membership going on and they’ve added 2 100lbs cats in the lake.
@@BaileyBarwick yeah mate I knew there would be some 100lb ers somewhere, Hull isn't all that far from me so I might try and check that place out sometime, catching a big cat is defo on my to do list. 👍
@@mattgosling2657 I’m only 13 and only caught one catfish but it was 35 lbs, at a place called messingham sands near a place called scunthorpe, definitely try some of these places. At messingham sands the go to about 50 lbs but is definitely a good place to start.
Love waking up and seeing a new video from Carl and Alex. They are the best fishermen on youtube. Love watching. Also would appreciate some tip for fishing in the colder weather. 👍

Thank you both, not only has discovering your video channel reignited my passion for angling that’s not been present for 10 years. But you have also given my 4 & 1/2 year old daughter the fishing bug. Every night before bed she asks to watch one of your videos... she has her favourite sibling to but that would be cruel of me to name drop ;-)

Always wanted to give this place a go. Always very booked up tho 🙁 had a fair few small cats up to 15lb but would love one over 30. Crow green in Brentwood has massive carp and cats and would be great to see you guys do a session there 👌👍

So I stumbled upon this channel maybe a week and a half to two weeks ago and I've gotta say I really enjoy the work you two put into these. It's refreshing to watch videos about genuine friends going out and enjoying the outdoors, some of the other crap I tend to watch like video game walkthroughs or certain product reviews or what have you have gotten rather stale after a while of being locked up due to the virus. Keep it up guys, I look forward to more content

Good video lads. Good to see Daz. A bait for cats my lecturer swears down by to catch on all day is leeches, easy to get apparently and can keep easily too. I think he said he'd fish them off the bottom on a catfish rig (i cannot remember which one sorry, can find out if u want). 👍

Awesome video. Glad to see daz back on the channel. Always looks forward to the vids in a Saturday now. I went and picked a rod up today, ordered a reel and a load of tackle last week. Hoping to wet some line in the coming weeks for the first time in a good few years. Can't wait.
