This episode is called "The Dragon and the Wolf" which can be interpreted in three ways: 1. Daenerys (the Dragon) and Jon (the Wolf) 2. Rhagar (the Dragon) and Lyanna (the Wolf) 3. Jon Snow (the Dragon and the Wolf)
I think the brilliance of it is that it can be interpreted in multiple ways. I still wish we got to hear the talk between Ned and Jon about his mother that he promised in Ep 1 😢
The final reveal about Jon makes you dizzy, doesn’t it? Now, think again about Alliser Thorne, sent to the Wall because he was a huge Targaryen loyalist. He hated Jon and murdered him because he thought he was the bastard son of Ned Stark, the Usurper’s best friend. But Jon was actually his one true king in the making, the actual heir to the throne.
My Lucifer 🤣, I never even thought of that 🤣. I've read the books 3 times and seen the show twice (Skipped season 8 the second time) and I never made that connection. Thanks for this really 🤣. This is why I love reading comments
While that is a very good point you are making, Jon was killed for letting the Wildlings south of the Wall. But thank you for your comment! I have never seen anybody make that observation.
The first time I heard Aegon Targaryan, it didn't really have much impact but having watched House Of The Dragon to date, I now understand the power of that name.
@@AL-fl4jk yeah that was always weird to me I was hoping his name would be Aemon since he’s the maester at castle black and aemon is the dragon knight that Jon liked to pretend to be when training with Robb. Maybe Daemon? He does share similarities with Daemon from house of the dragon at least in the books
@@AL-fl4jk Well for one thing when Jon was born, his half-brother Aegon was already dead actually :p While I'm not in a hurry to excuse the awful writing of the last seasons, this can be easily explained. Rhaegar was dead at the time he was born, so it's not certain that he had picked the name. Lyanna could have picked it. Rhaegar might have been expecting a girl, as he was sure he was following prophecies and how "dragon must have 3 heads". His two elder kids were named Rhaenys and Aegon, so he probably wanted a Visenya to "recreate the Conquerer and his sisters" team. But then Lyanna gave birth to a boy, so she decided to name it after his half-brother. Of course, this requires some mental gymnastics and should have been explained in the show, but the lack of it is far from the worst offense of the final season :/
@@AL-fl4jk When Ned found Lyanna, that was a while after the Sack of King's Landing. Unclear exactly how old Jon was, but she probably hadn't named him yet, she was a little busy dying of a fever. Rhaegar and the other Aegon were both dead by the time she gave her son a name, and she was probably slightly delirious from fever and picked the most Targaryen one.
...And then getting the season 8 that we got. Ugh. They took what would have been the greatest show of all time and relegated it to just a really great show. Overall it's clearly still a masterpiece of television, but it should have been crowned (pun intended) the greatest series of all time. So disappointing. I bet they desperately wish they could do it over. It's comparable to Episodes 8 and 9 of Star Wars. Just a disaster of a season.
@@CoryGasaway season 7 was already even worse than season 8. When Daenerys flew beyond the wall within some hours and Jon turned into a simp, the show became a joke.
I always wondered if Maester Aemon from the nights watch somehow knew that Jon Snow was actually a targaryen aswell. He always was so supportive to Jon. And as he died he screamed "little Aegon" who we now know is Jon Snow. Gave me shivers when I rewatched the other seasons thinking about these hidden links.
That haunting slow rendition of the GoT theme as Jaime leaves King's Landing and you see the cold empty streets and the dragonpit...that's an A1 ambience.
And it makes you think twice about who Robert actually was as a person. He seemed like a lovable character in S1, but he must have realized that Lyanna was uninterested in him and possibly in love with Rhaegar. Still, he pursued her and killed Rhaegar and had all the Targaryens he could find slaughtered. He seized their throne out of spite and hate.
That line is one of the single most idiotic lines in the entire show. Robert's Rebellion wasn't started because Robert wanted Lyanna back, it was started because Aerys had Rickard and Brandon Stark murdererd, then sent word to Jon Arryn who was fostering Ned and Robert and demanded that Jon Arryn deliver them or their heads to King's Landing upon which Jon Arryn started the rebellion by calling his banners, Taking out Targaryen Loyalists in the Vale and allying with the Riverlands by marrying Lysa Tully, while Ned wed Catelyn Tully who had been Betrothed to Brandon Stark.

How many moments in this episode STOPPED your breath?.....HUGE now you know everything...and still to come....surprises....thanks for your reaction...GOLD
In the books it’s rumored that Tyrion is a Targaryen bastard because the mad king liked tywins wife Joanna Lannister and stayed in casterly rock once after a tourney. This would explain him being tolerated by the dragons
In the intro you thanked us for watching this show with you and commenting on each video and so on, but I think that it is us who should be thanking you...for most of us watching I'm sure it's probably because we miss this show and we want to be able to watch it for the first time all over again, and through you we get to experience that! It's kind of amazing actually, because I get nervous when I know something big is going to happen or someone is going to die, based on things you've said in past videos, so then I end up crying when you cry and laugh with you when things are funny, even though I have watched this many many times!! It's pretty great. So thank you, it's been a privilege watching this through your eyes and I'll be sad when it's all over 💜
It's only smart if the living win - If the dead win all the people (& dragons) that died fighting will then join the night king army, which you'd have to assume is likely considering there is way more of them and they are harder to kill. John and Dany plan is to win and survive where as Cersai plan is "we're all gonna die, I'm going to die last"
Bran is like Google only 100x better because he can look into everybody's secret. Any organisation, government, kingdom will kill to have somebody like him on their side
It was funny when the revelation about Jon's real name came when he and Danny were making love. You said, "Get out of here", but it sounded like "Get out of her". 🙂
The second half of this episode is pretty good imo. The scene of Kit telling Alfie "you're a Greyjoy and you're a Stark"...I just can't deal 😢. That line hurts the recesses of my heart. I pretend we went from Spoils of War right before Jaime does that olympic dive into the water straight to the second half of The Dragon and the Wolf lol.
@@pjfsr7024 Not really. If he were Ned’s bastard, she could legitimize him. But as Rhaegar’s trueborn son, he is a Targaryen, and she can’t take that away.
"One day the other moon will kiss the sun too, and then it will crack and the dragons will return.” - Doreah to Daenerys, AGOT. "You should look behind you, Lord Snow. The moon has kissed you and etched your shadow upon the ice twenty feet tall.” - Melisandre to Jon, ADWD A Union of Ice and Fire
Little finger to Varys in season 3 before the whole chaos monologue: "The realm. Do you know what the realm is? It's the thousand blades of Aegon's enemies, a story we agree to tell each other over and over, until we forget that it's a lie." So Roberts Rebellion was just another atempt of conquest given the pretext of kidnapping
Baelish tripped on that final rung of the ladder. And it makes total sense.. his shenanigans worked for 6 seasons, got him multiple lordships, and within one step of the Iron Throne. Why start questioning what's been working so far? Surely the Stark kids will be as easy to play against each other as everyone else was...
Tyrion is not a wartime consigliere. He assumes bullies are stupid and can be managed by his intellect. This is a flaw shared with so many smart kids that learn to eat dirt on the playground. In peacetime he might be the greatest manager, but other than wild fire at Kings Landing which still required Tywin’s army to save the day.
It is kind of an irony of fate that Daenerys' claim to the throne was her birthright, hence the use of ALL of the titles. And yes, she did all of the work and got the ships and army and cavalry. Yet, the 7 kingdoms would give Jon/Aegon the throne over her exactly because of birthright, whether he wanted it or not! Also, Jon is lucky that he didn't have silver hair like many Targaryens. There have been a few without, but it is rare. If he did, I wonder how Ned would have explained it to Robert!
I wonder if after all the different combinations that could be 'the Dragon & the Wolf" if it is actually named that title for this episode because Jon/Aegon himself is actually Dragon & Wolf?
“You may not have my name, but you have my blood. The next time we see each other, we’ll talk about your mother.” - Ned Stark When I first saw that, I found it very weird that Ned was so teary-eyed when he said that. It made me realize that his mother was not some random tavern woman, but rather someone significant. It hit me again when Stannis the mannis said he knew Ned, and he said that cheating was simply not Ned Stark’s way.
I remember back when this show was out everyone was how Cersei is making a good decision. Like how? If the whites took out the north ummm the Night King raises all those dead men so now you have hundreds of thousands attacking King's Landing...
A wall that fell because a dead man was to be brought to Cercei as evidence to join a war. Which she didn't. Dany lost a dragon. Without it, the undead would never have been able to overcome the wall, because, as Uncle Benjin said, the wall is protected by magic that keeps all the undead from doing so. After all, that was the reason why Uncle Benjin could not go back. Brendon has all this information, because he is the three-eyed raven and sees everything as he never tires of telling. He didn't say a word about it and let everything happen. He could have said that the mission is pointless from the beginning, since Cercei does not join the war. The dragon would be alive. The dead could never have passed the wall. Let's go to Kings Landing and defeat Cercei and that's it. Completely idiotic, illogical crap was committed here by the authors. And a useless Bran for the entire series. Who is actually only there to give fans a few short snippets of his visions, but never shares this information with charakters in this show. Except that Snow and Dany are related. Wow.
@@jokester3076 doesn't matter if Martin was out of the loop since season 3. There were 6 books, and the writers tried to stay as close to them as possible during the first 6 seasons. After that, it was all mish-mash, especially after bringing Jon Snow back from the dead...which never happened in the book.
@@jeffburnham6611 They really did not, they cut massive amounts of books 4 and 5 (6th book isn't out and probably never will be), streamlined the plot in the worst way and frankly they made a lot of changes in earlier seasons that completely changed a lot of character arcs for the worse. Like Robb deciding to marry a random Volantine nurse because he was in love with her despite promising to marry a Frey, whereas in the books he gets injured while taking a castle in the Westerlands and the lord's daughter cares for him when he's bed ridden, they end up having sex and rather than leave her dishonored he marries her. It completely changes the dynamic of his entire arc. The showrunners have even admitted that their prime insterest in the show was getting to do the Red Wedding and it really shows how little they cared about the show after that point, going all in for the shock and wow factors rather than telling a good story.
And the girl that always closed her eyes to nudity (yes, Indian Calypso) finally succumbed to Game of Thrones and declared: "that butt is wonderful"... It was amazing the amount of time she had her mouth open on this episode (learning about Jon and watching the wall fall). I think is time to name those 2 rivers coming from Indian Calypso's eyes. great video-reaction as usual
Oh NO! This popped up on my feed, and now I immediately have to go back and watch your reactions to all seven seasons AND loads of other stuff too! How am I supposed to find time for this? XD
That dagger has HISTORY. And Bran saw all of it, every owner going all the way back to Valeryia. People crap on his character a lot because of how he is acting but he is playing the long game of chess now. You have all these examples of power -Cerci talking about gold, the armies, the dragons, the dead but true power is knowledge. The Night King know this its why he so badly wants Bran dead.
You were right about Littlefinger here. The reason he was so obvious was just due to bad writing. Things that the writer never wrote basically and that this character would never do at least not this way. Its the showrunners that did this injustice to Littlefinger and basically they killed his character quite a number of episodes ago, when they ran out of source material. Making him stupid and obvious.
I agree with Cersei's assumption that Daenerys army would be depleted after they defend the North but as long as she has a dragon her army is mostly for aesthetics and distractions really.
I like the way Sam took the credit for something Gilly pointed put to him 😂 You pointed out Tyrion was the only other one to touch the dragons...in the books there's a theory that maybe he is a Targarean as well. Theory anyway...there's a lot that seems to jive with that direction so far. Guess we'll see. Yes, youre right! Melisandra kept talking about the prince that was promised, she just had the wrong guy with Stanis
Jon Snow - Commander of the nights watch - King in the north - Aegon Targaryen ( the insane journey from bastard to king in the seven f**kin kingdoms ) 🔥🔥🔥
Did you listen to the music during the end credits? Quite haunting. My favorite track in the Season 7 album: Army of the Dead. Give that a listen; you may get goosebumps!
Aegon of house Targaryen and Stark, 6th of his name, king of the andals and the first men, lord of the 7 kingdoms ands protecter of the realm, the bastard of winterfell, 998th lord commander of the nights watch, the white wolf, the king in the north, the prince that was promised and the song of ice and fire.
Yes, Littlefinger triggered it with Robin Arryn's poisoning... but if he hadn't killed Robin, Cersei would have because of what he had discovered. It was the blaming of the Lannisters in a secret letter to Ned that triggered the War of the 5 Kings
The ironic thing is that if they hadn't gone north of the wall to capture a wight to prove to Cersei (and Dany) that they exist, the white walkers would never have killed the dragon and revived it, and so would not have been able to breach the wall.
I said it in the comments in an earlier episode but Baelish (along with Tyrion and Varys (the clever characters)) were so poorly handled once the writers ran out of book material. They were just unable to write smart, scheming characters. In the last two seasons, all of them became so stupid (compared to how they'd been portrayed earlier). Such a waste of what were originally such enjoyable characters.
Clever characters are still human, and can make mistakes. They have and were able to write smart characters who are flawed not some perfect mary sues. D&D still pulled off a hit tv show despite lack of source material.
This show crossed all limits of Incest 😂😂 Btw 🖕🖕for those who were saying Rhaegar "Rapist" and laughing and making faces when Ser Barristan Selmy said Rhaegar was the finest man he ever met. And the biggest thing is that In books there is already a boy named "Young Griff" whom Tyrion confirms as Aegon Targaryen(son of Rhaegar and Elia Martell),who is considered to be dead by all but is still alive 😊😊and already marching for westros with an army and Writer GRR Martin confirms that there is going to be Another Dance of Dragon between Brother and Sister
Night king is from the targaryen bloodline since only they could be dragon riders. I mean he is a mind controller technically so it could be that, but i would rather choose the first option since the guy was blonde and as well as the sign that the night king kept leaving (with the dead horse parts and body parts) looks like the Targaryen symbol
I think the reason Baelish ended up getting fucked was because he was absolutely incapable of calculating that Bran would start cosplaying Professor Xavier and being able to give Sansa and Arya the passwords to all his bank accounts lol
Why did Bran not know about Lyanna and Rhaegar? It has nothing to do with wierwoods since he saw baelish hold a knife to neds throat in throneroom of the red keep
Because although Bran can indeed see everything, he has to know when and where to look (this gets mentioned at some point); otherwise he's just wandering randomly through past/present/future. Notice that he didn't witness the wedding until after Sam told him when and where it happened. With Baelish holding the knife to Ned, Bran already knew when and where his father died, so that was an easy find for him. Same with him seeing the details of Sansa's wedding night that he shared with her.
You are right. The real LF would have been smarter than this. This is why when I rewatch S7, I skip the WF drama. Just forced, bad writing. Not to mention, he's killed under guest rights' protection. SMH.
I remember the first time I watched this finale back in 2017. I felt so much joy and satisfaction watching Littlefinger die. Then feeling so much stress and shock when the Wall was brought down and knowing that we then had to wait a year and a half for Season 8. I really hope you enjoy the final season, it’s been wonderful to watch your reactions to the series so far ❤
Cersei isn't that smart: she hasn't figured out that if the Dead win, their numbers will NOT be depleted, they'll be _increased_ by re-animating all the people they kill in the process.
I felt very much the same way about Baelish' death. I was very glad it turned out that the Stark sisters had been working together against Baelish, because the entire thing with them bickering didn't make any sense at all and that frustrated me more than anything... But at the same time, I would have thought taking down Baelish would have been more complicated. I, too, thought he should have become a bit vary when Bran returned his own words to him.
Now that Littlefinger's gone maybe we'll finally get the Jon Sansa wedding aka the real coming together of Ice and Fire next season! But judging by the BOAT scene, that SHIP has sailed 😂. Oh well there's always the sequel #Jonsa
Did you say "HOD" at the end? I just found out you're going to react to the prequel. I was thinking your reaction would be interesting. If so, I'm glad you're joining.
Letting the North & Dany's forces and the Dead battle and deal with what's left isn't an equal proposition... If the army of the dead wins, their numbers won't get smaller due to the battles (as the armies of the north would), they will expand! When the living soldiers fall fighting against them, they would be raised by the night king and become more fighters in the army of the dead. Same for any they encounter on the way to King's Landing. Cersei had best hope that the north finds a way to win, otherwise, there's no force she could muster that could stand against them.
Still waiting on that R+L=J reaction ;) It contains no spoilers, but is a compilation of scenes up to the end of season 6 (before it's revealed here that his parents loved each other) where Jon's parentage is referenced or hinted at. Jon isn't the rightful monarch of the Seven Kingdom because Aerys II disinherited Rhaegar (and his heirs) in favor of Viserys (his second son) and Daenerys is the heiress of Viserys III.
There’s only two Targaryens in the world and the line of succession place male above female = Jon is the heir Who cares about what the MAD king did with his succession his throne was taken long ago
@@sasoriae5225 "who cares" literally everyone. the King's words is the law. if not, there would be a revolution everytime a different king succeeds. king aerys is the father of both Rhaegar and Daenerys. so if his words doesn't matter, why put one of his heirs (Jon) on the throne? be coherent
@@sasoriae5225Did you watch House of the dragon ? Or read Fire and Blood ? Otherwise you would know that King Viserys I named his daughter Princess Rhaenyra as his heir when he had male heirs. Furthermore Daenerys rides a dragon and in House Targaryen it's symbolic for the monarch (and the heir) to rides a dragon . I've been waiting a looooong time for this episode to see your reaction to all the reveals. Welcome to the incredibly complex plot lones from the mind of mind of George R. R. Martin 🤯.
I remember being extremely worried by the very early dick jokes from Tyrion in 8x1, having my fears alleviated a little by 8x2, then being dead inside after watching the catastrophically idiotic 8x3. Had been in denial about how bad the show had become during seasons 6 and 7, but 8x3 really shook me out of that denial. Fuck it was such trash it makes me angry all over again.
Waiting two years? I have today waited 5 years for season 8. I did have fever dreams where I imagined I watched season 8 but so bad so it had to be a dream. It is sad that never made another season.
Yeah he's the Prince who is promised But the show creator in a hurry to end Game of thrones in order to create their next star war project They Just butchered the idea of John being Azora high .... Edit: it's not a spoiler she's already completed S8 in patreon
To all of the show "detractors": Are you here to comment on the show content or comment on her brilliant reaction to the show as it has revealed itself to her? Dan and Dave did what they could to present what they felt was a proper finale to the show based on the constraints placed forth by HBO. If GRRM didn't care for what they were doing, I believe that he would have said so but he was basically silent until the end. Nothing is going to change seasons 7 or 8. Take it for what is was. %This dear lady has dedicated much of her time, energy and emotions to watching GOT. Let her finish in style and give her reactions a big PLUS. Peace and long life to you all.
I actually don’t get upset about Littlefinger’s death for a few reasons: Yes, Baelish is a discreet man, but he makes dumbass moves every now and then. Remember when he confronted Cersei? That was really stupid of him. If he was smart, he would’ve kept his mouth shut. Bran did tell Baelish that “chaos is a ladder”, which is freaky, but putting myself in that position, I would just think that it’s a crazy coincidence and stay clear of Bran (which is what Littlefinger did) cause he’s weird. I wouldn’t automatically be thinking “this boy can see everything!!” Also, Sansa has gotten much smarter; a big part of it is because of Baelish. We can’t expect for Sansa not to be able to sniff out his bullshit whenever she knows all of Littlefinger’s motives. If we took season 7 Sansa and placed her in a scene with Baelish in one of the earlier seasons (season 3, for example), season 7 Sansa wouldn’t be naively listening to Baelish, but rather just brushing him off as much as she can. Last thing is that Winterfell is not King’s Landing and King’s Landing is not Winterfell. Littlefinger and Ned have something in common when it comes to being out of their elements. Ned being in King’s Landing was his downfall because the people of King’s Landing are not the same as the people of Winterfell. Vice versa, Littlefinger being in Winterfell was his downfall as well because he’s used to the schemers of King’s Landing who can be persuaded left and right, and not used to the loyalty of the stubborn North. I wrote too much.
Robert's Rebellion wasn't build on a lie. The rebellion didn't only happen because Lyanna was "kidnapped". It happened because Lord Rickard Stark was told to come ransom his son, only to be captured alongside several of his bannermen who came to ransom their sons, Brandon's companions. It happened because Rickard Stark was offered a trial by combat, only for Aerys to declare fire the champion of House Targaryen and slowly roasting Lord Stark alive. IIt happened because they had Brandon strangle himself trying to save his father, which just proves that this was never even supposed to be a "trial by combat" between Rickard and fire, since interference from others is not allowed in trials to determine guilt. It was all a farce, just a sick spectacle for a mad king, one that made a mockery of what is supposedly a way to let the Gods judge guilt or innocence, right or wrong. If Lyanna and Rhaegar had communicated that they had run away to marry without permission, it would still have been a huge scandal. Robert would never let someone break his betrothal to the woman he supposedly loved (who would let him become a brother-in-law to Ned, "the brother he chose") without taking action. Maybe instead of Brandon, it would have been an angry Robert Baratheon who rode to demand justice, only to be captured. Maybe his dearest friend and foster brother Ned would have joined him in this. Maybe Rickard would have ridden to ransom Ned rather than Brandon, only for the same scene to play out, sparking rebellion. The rebellion happened because of how the Crown responded to it's offended Lord's Paramount demanding justice from the dragon. And it didn't happen in a vacuum, it happened after the pressure of the mad king's misrule had grown to bursting. It was just a matter of time before something like this happened, and the only thing that might have averted a rebellion would be Aerys's removal, one way or another, in time to prevent it.
I watched this with Maisie Williams, I highly suggest....someone finally asked her the right questions. Not just about being Arya Stark. Get your tissues ready.
One thing I'm really pissed about is Viserion dying for nothing. Cersei noticed that too that's probably why she negated from the deal. Also, the wall could have slowed down the army of the dead but whatever 🙄
You brought back the love and excitement I had for GOT & I thank you for that . I have to warn you about Season 8 . It will make you angry and upset , it will disappoint you greatly. All the emotions you poured in this great story will seem for nothing after watching the catastrophic disaster in GOT8 . The writers David Benioff & D.B. Weiss totally ruined the characters and the show bcz they wanted to leave to do Star Wars . But after worldwide backlash and rebuke they couldnt do star wars these bastards raped and destroyed Jon , Dany , Varys and other great characters as well they rushed it and made so many bad mistakes . Thats why when i see a show or movie with these two bastards credited to it I will not watch . Plz be warned Season 8 WAS HORRIBLE bcz of those two mf's
It still bothers me Bran said Jon is heir to the Iron throne. Maybe he is next Targaryen in line.. but The Starks and Baratheons overthrew them, so why would he say that? Shouldn't Gendry have more claim than any Targaryen... according to the Starks?
Well, it's not clear why Jon instead of Daenerys should be heir to the throne. But Gendry is not "legitimate ", he is a bastard. He can NEVER, according to the feudal rules in place, inherit ANYTHING, not even a coin from his father. That is WHAT legitimacy meant.
Bran explained that Robert's rebellion was based on a lie. This makes Robert not more than a traitor. Just like Daenerys is a traitor who betrays her own house.
I always hoped Littlefinger would win. My dream final scene would have been a tight shot of Littlefinger's smirking face, then the camera pulls out to revel he's on the Iron Throne, then the camera pulls back to show all of Queen's Landing is burning around him
My only main problem with this episode is something that is extremely hard to hide. The main thing I just hate compared to everything else is how stupid they made Littlefinger and I feel that they made Littlefinger less smart in order to write off his character easily because maybe they couldn’t write such an intelligent character like Littlefinger off the show. I mean I personally can think of many things Littlefinger could have done to survive that trial they apparently tricked him into. And for the record Littlefinger if he used his brain should have gotten out of there as soon as he noticed Bran knew a bunch of random stuff he had said earlier. Littlefinger could have survived that trial quite easily and that is the one thing that frustrates me with this episode because I love Littlefinger and hate what they did to his character. By what they did I mean him just not thinking and using his brain that’s all. First thing Littlefinger could have done to survive the trial was actually participate in his defense he would easily have won then because they have zero evidence for his crimes and they can’t execute someone without evidence. Here is a video that explains what I mean when it comes to the many ways he could have survived. ua-cam.com/video/8i1k5-cArYI/v-deo.html (it has no spoilers for season 8) Honestly his death isn’t what angers me it’s the way he was killed and how they got to that moment that irritates me.

1. Daenerys (the Dragon) and Jon (the Wolf)
2. Rhagar (the Dragon) and Lyanna (the Wolf)

@@catxborsuq1 untrue, when Jon was born the siege of kings landing was still going/just finishing
This is one of the reasons why it's called A Song of Ice and Fire now just imagine having to wait almost two years for the final season
...And then getting the season 8 that we got.

How would he know? He was talking about his own little brother the king, who is also named Aegon (Egg)
“when the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives.” one of my favorite scenes in the show
The "That butt is... WONDERFUL." in between the shock mode was hilarious.🤣
That haunting slow rendition of the GoT theme as Jaime leaves King's Landing and you see the cold empty streets and the dragonpit...that's an A1 ambience.
Snow falling on the King's landing is my favourite scene, true fantasy melancholy.
"Robert's Rebellion was built on a lie." was such a powerful line. So much death, so much suffering, all for nothing.
@@ccispahan7514 absolutely
well, aerys targaryen was not called the mad king for no reason. so the rebellion was not completely unjustified

In the books it’s rumored that Tyrion is a Targaryen bastard because the mad king liked tywins wife Joanna Lannister and stayed in casterly rock once after a tourney. This would explain him being tolerated by the dragons
If you rewatch the Tower in Dorne again you will see that he and Lyanna was guarded by Kings Guard.
One of them being Arthur Dayne, who was considered the best in his day. Ned even asked why he was there and not protecting Rhaegar.
Omg haha I was like you lucky son of a bitch lmao
The second half of this episode is pretty good imo. The scene of Kit telling Alfie "you're a Greyjoy and you're a Stark"...I just can't deal 😢. That line hurts the recesses of my heart. I pretend we went from Spoils of War right before Jaime does that olympic dive into the water straight to the second half of The Dragon and the Wolf lol.
Jon has the same amount of Stark blood as Sansa, Bran and Arya, it's just from a mother's side and not a father.
Yes, but not the Stark name. He does have a claim to Winterfell though, being Lyanna's trueborn son, it just comes after all of their claims.
@@arielsteinsaltz1956 Sansa can give him the Stark name.

😂 We're with Sam on that: No one knows after the show what that means either, the Three Eyed Raven.
GoT: "Fking Jon Snow is Aegon Targaryon and rightful heir to the iron throne!!"
6:36 Aish: "That butt is wonderful"
😄😄😄 Instant classic!
Little finger to Varys in season 3 before the whole chaos monologue:
"The realm. Do you know what the realm is? It's the thousand blades of Aegon's enemies, a story we agree to tell each other over and over, until we forget that it's a lie."
So Roberts Rebellion was just another atempt of conquest given the pretext of kidnapping
Baelish never considered one thing - that nobody likes him and when somebody decides to cut his throat, there will be no one defending him.
Great reaction to little fingers death! What a episode
“You may not have my name, but you have my blood. The next time we see each other, we’ll talk about your mother.” - Ned Stark
When I first saw that, I found it very weird that Ned was so teary-eyed when he said that. It made me realize that his mother was not some random tavern woman, but rather someone significant. It hit me again when Stannis the mannis said he knew Ned, and he said that cheating was simply not Ned Stark’s way.
I get your shock over Jon & Dani getting busy now that we know who he is. but after all they are Targaryans.
I remember back when this show was out everyone was how Cersei is making a good decision. Like how? If the whites took out the north ummm the Night King raises all those dead men so now you have hundreds of thousands attacking King's Landing...
You have a great sense of style, your outfit and accessories and makeup are always super on point
Wow.
“Showrunners” not “authors”, George RR Martin was completely out of the loop after season 3.
@@jokester3076 so they needed authors to continue writing the series.
@@jeffburnham6611 George RR Martin still to this day hasn’t finished writing book six.

Cercei disproved this Foucauldian nonsense in season 2 with her "power is power " lesson to Littlefinger.
That episode was in 2017. We waited until 2019 for the next season.
I like the way Sam took the credit for something Gilly pointed put to him 😂
You pointed out Tyrion was the only other one to touch the dragons...in the books there's a theory that maybe he is a Targarean as well.
I loved Jon Snow when he was on air, but now I love Lord Petyr Baelish. Women's minds can change.
Did you listen to the music during the end credits? Quite haunting. My favorite track in the Season 7 album: Army of the Dead. Give that a listen; you may get goosebumps!
I've watched multiple reactions to GoT and I have to say you've done the best job of anyone.
One dragon broke like 1/300th of the wall. You have to remember that the wall is 300 miles long
You MUST watch the R+L=J video on Jon’s parentage ASAP
Loving your reactions. Looking forward to your reaction to the History and Lore as it's a really good one.
The ironic thing is that if they hadn't gone north of the wall to capture a wight to prove to Cersei (and Dany) that they exist, the white walkers would never have killed the dragon and revived it, and so would not have been able to breach the wall.
Dany should've let them die instead of bringing dragons north of the wall. everything would've been fine
Ugh, this is making me want to do a rewatch of GOT once House of the Dragon ends!

Baelish like the south , doesn't believe in magic of visions or signs...Ned didn't either and he died.

Omg yessss I've been waiting for this reaction! Great reaction as always.
Just wanted to say! That is not the tower that Bran fell off😆That tower was in Dorne(Where Jon/Aegon was born) Bran fell in Winterfell😆
Cersei isn't that smart: she hasn't figured out that if the Dead win, their numbers will NOT be depleted, they'll be _increased_ by re-animating all the people they kill in the process.
As Tywin said, "You aren't as smart as you think you are."
Blue fire is much hotter than yellow or red.

You need to watch R+L=J. It’s a UA-cam video that shows all the hints given to Jon’s linage throughout the series and it’s mind blowing
yes the pacing is off, and only 7 episodes, but this was all still so epic. season 8 too, epic scenes. just the ending, number of episodes is off.
The reason why many may not support Dany was spoken by Randyl Tarley before he was fried.
10:40 the shape of the undead army from this bird's eye perspective is a wolf. 😉
Still waiting on that R+L=J reaction ;)

BUT if the dead win, THEY will have a bigger army to arch on kings landing
In the books Aerys II the Mad king raped Tywin's Lannister wife. The theory says Tyrion is the third head of the Dragon
I actually don’t get upset about Littlefinger’s death for a few reasons:
Yes, Baelish is a discreet man, but he makes dumbass moves every now and then.
I wouldn’t automatically be thinking “this boy can see everything!!”
Also, Sansa has gotten much smarter; a big part of it is because of Baelish.
Please consider reacting to the House of the Dragon’s teasers and trailer. Of course after finishing the series haha

One thing I'm really pissed about is Viserion dying for nothing. Cersei noticed that too that's probably why she negated from the deal. Also, the wall could have slowed down the army of the dead but whatever 🙄
A lot of people died for nothing in this show. Shit happens in a war. Lots of peole die.

@@stevencolatrella3257 I understand... but when the ruling has is defeated (by Brans own father) that defeated house is heir to nothing.
Bran explained that Robert's rebellion was based on a lie. This makes Robert not more than a traitor. Just like Daenerys is a traitor who betrays her own house.
I always hoped Littlefinger would win. My dream final scene would have been a tight shot of Littlefinger's smirking face, then the camera pulls out to revel he's on the Iron Throne, then the camera pulls back to show all of Queen's Landing is burning around him
It simply means Danny has to wait her turn to rule
Here is a video that explains what I mean when it comes to the many ways he could have survived. ua-cam.com/video/8i1k5-cArYI/v-deo.html (it has no spoilers for season 8)
Honestly his death isn’t what angers me it’s the way he was killed and how they got to that moment that irritates me.
