While I do think that’s the specific moment she was done with Littlefinger’s bullshit, she never really trusted his advice in regards of what to do with Arya in the first place. Fun fact about Tyrion arriving at the meeting. If you look at the Dothraki escorting them. They're all wearing bloodied Lannister clothing under their furs that they took from the men they killed in "Spoils of War" lol badasses 😂😂
When sansa goes thru littlefingers process and the answer is "it makes her the lady of winterfell" she knows arya would hate that... so she realizes its a littlefinger scheme and off screen talks to arya and bran for the trial plan.
Sansa really was the best person to take down Littlefinger, but it definitely could've been executed better. He wouldn't suspect her.. no one would.. & she already had an advantage knowing that Arya never had any interest in being the lady of Winterfell.
I fully believe the animosity we see on screen between Arya and Sansa once Arya comes back to Winterfell is all a show to throw off Littlefinger. There may have been some residual sibling rivalry left over from when they were younger, before their worlds turned upside down when poor old dead Ned lost his head. They’ve both seen & done so much since then that childhood slights wouldn’t really matter. It’s a miracle that they are both alive in Winterfell along with Bran & they’d know it
Bran is like the anti-gaslight God. And that's how Peter ruled, with gaslighting and misinformation. He's basically one big "I got receipts", as long as you believe him lol.
Come on guys. There's no way you're this thick... The Unsullied spent all of last episode, marching across Westeros to Kings Landing. Meanwhile, Jon and Co went beyond the wall, AND traveled back to Kings Landing as well. It's not a time jump. It's a believable passage of time.
4 episodes. They were in episode 3. What's hilarious is that it took Ned & Robert to arrive in King's Landing in just 2 episodes from Winterfell. The distance from Winterfell to King's Landing, is easily 5-10 times the distance then of Casterly Rock to King's Landing. I don't ever remember a George Fanboy complaining about Ned & Robert suddenly taking a bullet train to King's Landing. It took a month for the king to arrive to Winterfell. Sadly, the Boyz bought in to some of the manipulation being planted by some of the haters, who became Monday Morning QBs after they disliked the ending. The only reason why they are reaching. Everyone always needed to piece together what's going on. What's hilarious is the time jumps in HOTD, where the book readers were ok with it, because George wrote it in. Leaving 95% of the other viewers needing plenty of time to figure out what the F is going on between episodes. A far bigger process in HOTD, then realizing here, that simply Grey Worm marched his forces on land (Not by sea, as Euron destroyed their ships) to King's Landing, arriving 4 episodes later. Jon & company used ships, in no way are we to assume that Jon & Grey Worm left to King's Landing simultaneously just because we saw them at King's Landing together. Like assuming that everyone that is at the airport to catch a flight, took an equal distance of a ride to arrive at the airport. One can arrive at the same time but not necessarily taking the same time to get there.
I missed you guys so much! Was starting to get worried you guys might not be able to finish the series, and you know that would've broke my (OUR/your fans' hearts) then you come back in with a music vid beginning.... saddle up boys, let's finish this... TOGETHER. ;)
What I like most about Mike and Aaron is that, most of the time I disagree with them but I LOOOOOOOVEEEE their reactions and discussions! Thanks guys~!
Over the whole season they had Dany falling in love with Jon bec she saw how much his people loved him, how much respect everyone had for him and she got to know what kind of person he is. I didn’t like them being in love either but I saw it coming since their first meeting…I think it was obvious and you guys missed it until last episode but you still didn’t really catch it 😂
Jamie(and maybe Tyrion/Varys separately) explained in a previous episode that Danys army at Casterly Rock would ultimately have to abandon the castle and march back on foot. They probably marched straight to Kings Landing as enough time has passed for Brienne to travel down from Winterfell & Jon etc to travel down from the Wall
Your reactions and discussion points are great about the show. The episode title "The Dragon and the Wolf" basically refers to Jon Snow's parents Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark but can also be said it refers to Jon Snow himself as he is a hybrid of both.
"It's not what I want, it's what honor demands."...Now here is finally a ruler who makes a decision not out of the need to display strength, or out of greed, or fear, or anger, or impulse, or cause they're convinced they're the Chosen One. She does so inspite of herself, because it's the right thing to do. Even when she stands up to say her last words to Baelish, she's got a tear in her eye. Curious detail. Power doesn't corrupt, it reveals. How we exercise it says a lot about us. Everytime the dragon queen executed someone she had that Manson Lamps glowing in her eyes. She was so proud of herself she damn near looks orgasmic watching other people die. That's the difference. The moral of the story has always been the immutable nsture of absolute power and the perils of one-minded pursuit of that power.
but sansa actually likes him back in some weird twisted way, other than that she has no mercy dany is the same with people she cares about you can't compare the two in this situation
I loved Jon and Dany getting together but I was also awarded no spoilers so I just thought he was a stark through all S7. To me they were fire and ice, the 2 strongest names who would be a power house together. I thought he was able to touch Drogon because he's a good guy and Dany got to see that through the dragon scene. You know, all the fantasy perfect fairy tale things that GoT does not do. So I had my guard dropped and was excited then equally grossed the fuck out that they were related, plus all the issues that might come from that. GoT did it to me again! Loved it. Always love how the show could play with my emotions like that. It's the best part.
Yoooooo! Thank you for the music video 😂 they always make my day better My favorite thing about the Hound (at least in this episode) is how much respect he has for Brienne as a fighter even tho she’s a woman. He walks right up to her on the road & speaks with her as he would any other knight/warrior
The Unsullied marched back across Westeros, it's actually mentioned a couple episodes back that it would take them a while to get back because they had to march back.
Sansa the polititian figured it out using Little Finger's Little Game, Sansa went to Bran to confirm it and they went to Arya. It was Sansa's kill, he who passes the sentence must swing the sword - Sansa's word is her sword.
The wights can't go in water. But what you didn't see offscreen was them going fishing for multiple days to catch enough fish and turn them into wightfish, and help bring in larger sea creatures until they can control something in the water than can help them put the chains in place. Or they just have Aquaman powers. I'll go with that one actually.
I think everything lines up for Sansa to be just generally unsure and caution about the whole Arya thing right up until the "lady of winterfell" line. It makes sense the way things played out for Sansa to grow a bit of caution around Arya but once that line sinks in I think she just knows Arya doesn't want that and that gives Sansa a chance to apply LF's "game" back onto him, and him doing what he's doing for sus reasons makes a lot more sense than Arya doing all her sus ish because she wants to be the lady
when arya shows up in winterfell, they're both wary of each other. sansa hasn't seen her sister in six (seven?) years, and both of them have changed so much since then. they're not who they remember. they need time to figure out if they can trust each other. so i do think arya was right to be suspicious at first, like littlefinger is Not a trustworthy figure wtf is he doing in winterfell sansa? but once they figure it out, once they connect again, they're on the same team. and if they're on a team together, you can pretty much count on them crushing their enemies into dust every time.
Yo, your Full House intro had me DYING!! HAHAA!! The biggest thing that bugged me about this episode is seeing Jon and Brienne and everybody that came from the North pretty much in their big ass furs. They must be hot as fuck in that shit down there in King's Landing. There was no need for that, take that shit off. But yeah the time jump thing is jarring. But look at it this way, do you really want to see entire episodes showing the logistics of moving whole armies around Westeros, or even just throwaway lines of expositional dialogue about who is where and where they're all moving to and from? Sometimes ya just gotta show, not tell. Show that Dany clapped up with all her troops, all her power. That was the goal. Who cares how they got there? That probably took months of travel, months that we didn't need to see.
I don't buy for one second that Arya and Sansa faked those arguments when nobody was around to hear them, just to...what? What would be the point? If they knew what Littlefinger had done, that was all the reason they needed to execute him. The people in that room never gave a shit about him trying to wormtongue Sansa. They cared about him betraying Ned and killing Lysa - whch Sansa saw him do, with her own eyes. I can buy that they figured it out AFTER the arguments. It feels like there should be a scene to explain it.
Before the words of truce came out of Cerci’s mouth, she had already determined her betrayal. She’s making selfish decisions like this that could effect everyone inside and outside of her country. She’s like a Honey Badger, “Cerci don’t care; Cerci don’t give a s-t!”
41:50 your reaction just now was EVERYTHING. This is such a top-tier scene. One of the best full circle closure moments, excellent end to an excellent character arch. OH MY GOD YRS SAME WAY AS CAT, I HAD NEVER ONCE THOUGHT ABOUT THAT
Hey guys! Love your videos Just wondering if your patreon videos are similar to your youtube videos in terms of the episode shown along with the reaction? Or do you do a watch along style where you need to watch the episodes with the video?
I like Jon and Danny together. I never caught the fact they were related the first time I watched the series. But it is custom and acceptable for them.
The Game of Thrones and the Game of Faces are both based on lying well, or peeping someone else's lies - the Stark sisters learned (and mastered) the same game within their own skillsets. "She's the smartest person I know." I'm not a Sansa fan, in general, but Arya's not lying here, and she's one of the few who would know it well.
I think the writers did a terrible job of portraying Sansa as the strategist who outmaneuvered Littlefinger. She does a lot of dumb things. Most recently, agreeing to marry Ramsay for absolutely no strategic reason, despite the show pretending her being married is somehow necessary for the Boltons to be defeated. Then she hides information from Jon about the knights of the Vale, nearly allowing Jon and all of the northern soldiers to be killed. Things would have likely gone much better if they just waited 30 minutes to start the battle. The only smart thing she does is get the hell out of King's Landing after Joffrey's death, and she would have been smarter to leave at her first opportunity which she turned down. Sansa isn't stupid enough to blindly agree with whatever Littlefinger says to the point where she'd imprison her own sister for no reason and never wonder "wtf is he talking about, why would my sister be a threat" but not being a complete moron doesn't make her a genius. The writers failed both her character and Littlefinger.
@bobdonda That's fine. I've read all these complaints, and more, before. My comment isn't about D&D's mishandling of Martin's characters though. I was highlighting the parallels between the girls' informal, and life-saving, education, despite their childhood assertions that they're nothing alike. Sansa had to learn that everyone in King's Landing is a better liar than her to achieve her queen dream, and Arya had to learn that "we never stop playing," which is akin to Cersei's "You win or you die." Unfortunately, the honor and honesty virtues their father taught them have a low success rate in their world. It doesn't really matter what the showrunners spoon-fed the audience regarding Sansa's intelligence - their lessons in those games naturally gave them an equal-footing, and an innate understanding of each other, that wasn't there before. The games did that regardless of an outside viewer's perception. In show, considering Arya's path, and level of intuition about others at this point, when she says, "She's the smartest person I know," I believe her - no need to hang a lantern on Sansa's smarts. That's also a path Martin set them on, not D&D. As far as I'm aware, Sansa is not the one married to Ramsey in the books, and Jon is still dead, so it'll be interesting to see how those journeys pan out differently. I'm curious though, if this is your opinion of Sansa, do you think Robb equally as stupid?? He also entered a completely unnecessary, unstrategic, *and* ill-advised wedding, knowingly sent thousands to their death in order to capture one man, and got killed by men less honorable than him.
@@steffurness Robb is definitely stupid, but a different kind of stupid. He never understood the importance of marrying for political alliances, and someone calling himself king needs to know that. He never suspected Walder Frey would betray him even know he screwed over Walder by marrying someone else, and it's not like Walder is known to be kind and forgiving. You can just say Robb is too naive though, anyone might do that. But the really stupid thing was executing the head of the Karstarks - everyone told Robb not to do it and it'll cost him almost half his forces, he did it anyway, they left and he regretted it. WTF did he think, just because he has a crown everyone will go along with whatever he says? Still, I can't compare that to the "I'm just not going to tell Jon reinforcements are coming, for no reason at all" kind of stupid. But I think situations like that weren't intended, I don't think they intended to make Sansa look like a fool, it's just questionable or lazy writing that makes her look that way.
Jeezus why are you so obsessed with the Unsully leaving the rock and meeting up to join forces…they are all in the south already. They didn’t have to travel to a different planet
Of all the things that felt forced in the last couple seasons, the Jon lineage thing I don't think was one of them since they've been dropping hints about it since the beginning , but that's just me. There's plenty of stuff in the last 2 seasons that feel super rushed though.
Pretty sure the showrunners actually intended for Sansa and Arya to genuinely be fooled by Baelish, up until that last convo Sansa had with him, where she apparently went to speak to Bran off screen and onoy then did they come up with the plan to trick him. It's shitty writing.
I agree, Aaron. There are many things that can be explained if you think about it, but the unsullied just randomly being out of Casterly Rock is confusing and not well written. “The witch who murdered my husband” sounds so funny out of context. I love how Sansa says “Lady of Winterfell” and it all clicks to what happens later. That scene between Jon and Theon is absolutely beautiful. I was so excited for you guys to see the Stark kids tear Baelish apart. It works so well and going back on rewatches, you start to see the little moments where Sansa and Arya clock Littlefinger for scummy shit. The fights between them were more real on Sansa’s part, but for Arya it was more about seeing where Sansa’s alliance truly was. And once Arya knew Sansa was okay, things started falling into place. It’s all very subtle, but that’s what I love about it. I love that you guys say that both of the Stark girls are so much like Catelyn in different ways because it’s so true. I’m glad Mike doesn’t like Jon and Daenerys together because I never liked it either. I never felt the chemistry between them. It felt forced. “When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.” Favorite quote of the show. I’ll see you guys in the last season. I can’t believe we’re at the end!
don't forget Bran...... Sansa, Aria AND Bran figured all the Balish stuff out. Bran KNEW what he was and what he did and if he told his sisters just some of it they'd have been able to fill in some blanks of their own and hatch that plan.
The Starks: Cerberus, 3 headed Guard Dog of Underworld. Children of the Fenris Wolf. The Morigu. Priests of Anubis. The Fates, Offspring of the Night, herself. "Nevermore, said The Raven." Littlefinger, “You have been weighed; you have been measured; and you have been found wanting.” By the way, Sansa and Arya went to Bran. That's the conversation we didn't see.
I know Theon saw PTSD. But he still needs a Clock back when you’re on call them out. A Reek-like, “Yara is more Ironborn than you’ll ever be.” Woulda been nice.
the littlefinger execution scene is my favorite scene in all of the show. it just makes me so happy. and the way arya just hit his throat quickly and walked away. didnt even watch. my girl is beastly.

12:33 - it's cool Aaron - all our heads were filled with the same confusing calculus too 😅 welcome to the final episodes of Game Of Thrones 😅❤ you made it
Jon sent Tormund to Eastwatch before he went to Kings Landing. Tormund didn’t go to Kings Landing. I didn’t mind Jon and Dany hooking up.
If you get frustrated by time jumps and incest, it’s more prevalent in House of the Dragon so prepare yourselves..
They needed the dragon to get through the wall - it was put together with ancient spells to keep the dead out - which is why benjen couldn’t cross-
wait but isnt the dragon a part of that group bc hes dead too? im confused now
@@gloomyloomi he’s dead yes but he took the wall down so the spells that kept them from being able to cross were taken down- that’s the explanation I came up with anyway lol
It’s a miracle that they are both alive in Winterfell along with Bran & they’d know it
Great to see you back, season 8 episode 3 is really dark, you will need to brighten the tv.
Only 6 more episode, lets go!
Bran is like the anti-gaslight God. And that's how Peter ruled, with gaslighting and misinformation. He's basically one big "I got receipts", as long as you believe him lol.
The white walkers have a blue eyes white dragon
Night King: Screw the rules I have money.
The Wall is also over 300 miles long, so "The Wall," still stands. Just a nice, horde sized hole punched through.
Been waiting WEEKS for this upload. Love you guys!
The Boys are back! About time, I was starting to think that one of you had snapped and buried the other in the woods somewhere.😂. 😅
I missed you guys so much! Was starting to get worried you guys might not be able to finish the series, and you know that would've broke my (OUR/your fans' hearts) then you come back in with a music vid beginning.... saddle up boys, let's finish this... TOGETHER. ;)
Yay...my boys are back...been missing you guys!!!! 😊💚
glad you guys are starting to see the flaws in these later seasons
47:54 - "I have a bad feeling, man. Something really bad is about to happen". Yeah, season 8.
Your reactions and discussion points are great about the show. The episode title "The Dragon and the Wolf" basically refers to Jon Snow's parents Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark but can also be said it refers to Jon Snow himself as he is a hybrid of both.
If you feel like you're missing an episode now... hahaha
Great line: ‘Power doesn’t corrupt, it reveals.’ Maybe that is why the ones who keep it hidden escape accountability but still leverage its potential.
but sansa actually likes him back in some weird twisted way, other than that she has no mercy
dany is the same with people she cares about
you can't compare the two in this situation
Yoooooo! Thank you for the music video 😂 they always make my day better
My favorite thing about the Hound (at least in this episode) is how much respect he has for Brienne as a fighter even tho she’s a woman. He walks right up to her on the road & speaks with her as he would any other knight/warrior
LMAO. I’m listening while cleaning: ‘TF, did I add a Full House video to this playlist?’
The Unsullied marched back across Westeros, it's actually mentioned a couple episodes back that it would take them a while to get back because they had to march back.
Arya needs to take Jamie’s face and go after Cerci
Sansa the polititian figured it out using Little Finger's Little Game, Sansa went to Bran to confirm it and they went to Arya. It was Sansa's kill, he who passes the sentence must swing the sword - Sansa's word is her sword.
My only question here is, where did the walkers get those chains annnnnd I thought they couldn't go in water🤔
That... was a very... uhm... nice intro, your Grace.
This is my favorite episode, mostly because of the Baelish scene.
when arya shows up in winterfell, they're both wary of each other. sansa hasn't seen her sister in six (seven?) years, and both of them have changed so much since then. they're not who they remember. they need time to figure out if they can trust each other. so i do think arya was right to be suspicious at first, like littlefinger is Not a trustworthy figure wtf is he doing in winterfell sansa? but once they figure it out, once they connect again, they're on the same team. and if they're on a team together, you can pretty much count on them crushing their enemies into dust every time.
Que bom que voltaram, pensei que não iria mais ter react
21:40 Qyburn's in love. ❤
Five words clear up that Arya-Sansa riff. “Yo Bran, what went down?”😅
I don't buy for one second that Arya and Sansa faked those arguments when nobody was around to hear them, just to...what? What would be the point? If they knew what Littlefinger had done, that was all the reason they needed to execute him. The people in that room never gave a shit about him trying to wormtongue Sansa. They cared about him betraying Ned and killing Lysa - whch Sansa saw him do, with her own eyes. I can buy that they figured it out AFTER the arguments. It feels like there should be a scene to explain it.
bRUHH Greayjoy was way out in thw water, and Worm was on top of a cliff, they simply look back and run lol
"Starks. Slow minds, quick tempers"
Before the words of truce came out of Cerci’s mouth, she had already determined her betrayal. She’s making selfish decisions like this that could effect everyone inside and outside of her country. She’s like a Honey Badger, “Cerci don’t care; Cerci don’t give a s-t!”
What in the world?? That intro...😂 👍.
"Sha-boing boing" is my new favorite word🤣
Call him Ae-jon. 😂
Casterly Rock and Kings Landing are on the same peninsula, there is a direct road. As is HIgh Garden, so all forces could have merged.
Look at Jon and look at Dani, they together.
Great intro as always 🤣🤣 welcome back guys
Oh shit I forgot about these guys
41:50 your reaction just now was EVERYTHING. This is such a top-tier scene. One of the best full circle closure moments, excellent end to an excellent character arch.
OH MY GOD YRS SAME WAY AS CAT, I HAD NEVER ONCE THOUGHT ABOUT THAT
Hey guys! Love your videos
Just wondering if your patreon videos are similar to your youtube videos in terms of the episode shown along with the reaction? Or do you do a watch along style where you need to watch the episodes with the video?
Imagine watching this finale live…..then having to wait 20 months for season 8 episode 1.
I had no problem with Jon and Dany. Targaryens are gonna Targaryen......
💯💯
As a book reader when i see euron i was like "look how they massacred my boy"
How is it that you dont recognize the Unsullied music theme already?
Baelish's setup and death is one of my favorites. The fox gets outfoxed. I love it.
Pretty sure the showrunners actually intended for Sansa and Arya to genuinely be fooled by Baelish, up until that last convo Sansa had with him, where she apparently went to speak to Bran off screen and onoy then did they come up with the plan to trick him.
It's shitty writing.
Euron in the books is like a ganondorf character. His plans coming to fruition probably in the next book. In the show he's just an filthy edgy pirate
"Nevermore, said The Raven." Littlefinger, “You have been weighed; you have been measured; and you have been found wanting.”
By the way, Sansa and Arya went to Bran. That's the conversation we didn't see.
White walkers and the undead would not have been able the wall due to magic on its foundations. So the wall had to be destroyed
I KNOW RIGHT????
🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
Love Grandma Debbie
Any sound: is that the Rains (Reynes) of Castmere?
I know Theon saw PTSD. But he still needs a Clock back when you’re on call them out. A Reek-like, “Yara is more Ironborn than you’ll ever be.” Woulda been nice.
the littlefinger execution scene is my favorite scene in all of the show. it just makes me so happy. and the way arya just hit his throat quickly and walked away. didnt even watch. my girl is beastly.
More like one of the worst scenes in the entire show
bro i just love to see this guy cryin over family matters, U a good one
Yo Bust! Love your channel.....FYI Dario gave Dani the 2nd Sons, way back when he cut off the heads of the captains and offered her his sword 🗡️...
Yes! This upload has made my Sunday ❤
littlefingers death is like a scooby doo plot. its so bad,
Not cousins. Dani is Jon's aunt
What is " only the ladder will fall"? Am I missing something or are you referring to the CHAOS IS A LADDER speech from LF from way back that goes " only the ladder is real"? Love y'all's reaction vids keep up the great content 🙌
