I’m Nigerian American. In 2017 I visited Nigeria after living in the USA for about 20 years. I spent 3 weeks overseas, outside the USA, eating lots of food and drinking water drawn from the ground. I noticed every time I drank water I felt like I just ate something. I had the best sleep of my life, my mind, my brain was very alert and sharp, I was eating everything food but was losing pounds of weight, the food was so flavorful and real. I felt so healthy, all pains, including constant migraines were gone. It took me a while to realize that wait, this is all happening cos I’m not eating and drinking food and water in America. Got back to the US and all the crap and unhealthiness came right back. I love this country. Let’s vote for better health. America goes, the world goes.

That's interesting to hear. I have a few friends in Nigeria, Abuja and Lagos and currently they have food scarcity and insecurity. In fact they appreciate every little bit of money I send and some begging to Jappa to America or UK. They drink water from plastic bags probably imported from China. However, they are not of the upper class who probably can afford the best of everything. Even the Nigerian nobles fly to US for medical and education.

Fun Fact: “Fluoride is an enzyme poison which inhibits important enzymes. It's toxicity meant it was widely used as rat poison. Some fluoride is excreted via the kidneys but older people have decreased excretion rates. We went crazy when my children are small because they kept prescribing fluoride for my children.
The cavities kept coming and worse and worse every six months
Fast-forward 12 years and I now have a young son
Went to the dentist and she prescribed extra fluoride
I was so frustrated, but didn’t know what to do so I started using the mouthwash with him and started using the extra fluoride toothpaste and giving him the treatments for one year at the dentist
We went back and he had five cavities
I threw my hands up, read about fluoride and decided to change our regimen
He is now cavity free, two years later, and we never use fluoride
Even the spots that they were saying look like they needed to be watched in case they turn in to cavities have begun to remineralize
Fluoride is garbage and a lie
    Don’t use it
Fortunately, we live off of our own well
It has many problems and we have to do a lot of filtration, but there is no fluoride
Never mind the arsenic from the farmers, springing around our area that has now gotten into the water table 😏

The cavities were (and always are) 100% caused by improper hygiene. The fluoride can only do so much to mitigate the harmful effects of high-sugar diet and/or poor hygiene your children had. But it does help, for sure. This has both a theoretical basis and has been proven by studies.

Thanks for this eye-opening discussion on fluoride. The revelation about its origins and the suppressed findings of its neurotoxic effects are concerning. This video underscores the importance of understanding what we put into our bodies. Filtering water isn't just about taste; it's about safeguarding our health from cumulative toxins. The emphasis on cumulative toxicity is crucial; it's not just about single exposures but the long-term impact on our well-being. Investing in water filtration systems, particularly reverse osmosis, seems prudent given the difficulty in removing fluoride. It's a proactive step towards protecting ourselves and our families. This conversation challenges us to reevaluate our approach to water consumption and prioritize health over convenience.

I wish when people talked about drinking tap water, they would distinguish between drinking tap water in a town or city, from a town water supply/water treatment plant and tap water drank, usually out in the country, from a well. It seems misleading to people that might not recognize the difference. I've drank "tap water" my entire life, from a well, with no chemicals added. I'm so glad you covered this topic that's been controversial for decades and it's hard to get any real science supporting fluoridation. In the UK I flicked to the channel showing televised government sessions and they were talking about the crisis in dental care in the NHS as it's becoming more difficult to get a dentist in our country. As I started viewing someone suggested the fluoridatiion of the water would be helpful. The `expert' said the evidence was very positive in this regard and had been around a long time and they would start doing this in the North of the country. They always seem to experiment on the North first as the majority of the wealth and power is down south! The only study he referred to was one which involved splitting a county and fluoridating half of it and that half was shown to have better outcomes and they all agreed that this was the way forward. It was shockingly unprofessional for a debate. Tony Robbins looked at this issue and said they'd contrived statistics like this before and the reason why one area had better outcomes was nothing to do with fluoride but that the difference in wealth and dentist availability in one area over the other. I am sure there is corruption and financial interest involved in this and a desire to dumb down people's IQ would also suit powerful interests as we're more exploitable that way. Avoiding fluoride is tough though as nerve numbing toothepastes like Sensodyne have it in and the non-fluoride toothpastes don't numb tooth nerve pain.

Conclusions were bad as it was a neurotoxin and reduced iq in some studies. My personal belief though is that fluoride is good for your teeth but I don’t know how effective it is. I too just started Dr. Ellie’s tooth care method almost 2 months ago with noticeable results, but questioned the fluoride aspect of use, and that’s what drew me to this video while scrolling . Now I need to do more research because she did say that fluoride is only toxic when it’s ingested by swallowing it, and that the fluoride in tooth products is sodium fluoride and only 0.2% so it’s different. My teeth do feel and look much whiter following her routine than they ever have after getting a professional cleaning. I have to say the only thing that’s been hard is the listerine rinse!! Talk about “ feel the burn!” 😬

I had a tooth pulled last year after not having been to the dentist in 15 years. I've been on Dr. Phillips teeth care program for 6 months now. The big issue is not snacking and sipping all day. Mineral rich salvia during the day helps your teeth repair so we shouldn't be interrupting that process with the snacking and sipping (even water) all dang day.
