You shouldn't expect or ask goverment to protect you. By doing that you give up your liberty in exchange for security. Rather, protect your family and friends yourself by informing them. Here (Western Europe) the EU and the states have way too much power over the people.
@@benoitm2810 I agree the governments and institutions have too much power. But not allowing toxic chemicals in food is kinda a governments job. They are poisoning people. They used to use tallow for frying until the lawyers got involved suing them because it was claimed to be unhealthy. Oreo filling used to be lard and powdered sugar.
You may appreciate this: For decades I drove for a living. behind the wheel of taxis, big rigs and as a tour guide. I filled up to 250 lbs at 5' 9". I had two strokes. As welll as four heart attacks with open heart surgery. All were caused by blocked arteries. My bypass showed 100% of my left side coronory arteries were blocked. In my recovery time I leaned about good, healthy eating. I did a cleanse and detox for 21 days, which took off 20 lbs. Then I kept up the healthy eating. I failed a few times, fast food was a big part of my life. But I kept practicing eating good, nutrisional food. All organic, pastured raised eggs, organic chicken and organic grass fed meats. I am now 90 lbs lighter. I am in a better shape since the 70s. I am a 50% disabled veteran. I cannot workout. All I do is take walks around my area. I used to have constant inflamation. Now I walk relativele pain free. I am now at 160 ~ 170, High days are when I eat crap food. Then take a week or so to go back down.
@anitaharris9095 I started canning my own food out of my gardens. Salsa, jams, pickles. I lost 25lbs. Feel great. I never eat McDonald's. But cutting out prepackaged foods helped. I wanted to get healthier for my immune system.
A hero? Bit strong haha. Nobody cares. If they did they wouldn’t eat there. Loads of horror stories. People still eat there. If it’s edible people will eat it. I don’t give a shit what’s innit. It’s a five minute feed that’s fine. The price has got a bit gay though for what it is.
I stopped taking my kids to mcdonalds 3-4 years ago. Its crazy that people actually have laughed at me and mocked me for it. I might add its mostly people with health issues. Thank you for putting this information out there! 🙏
I walk a lot during my work day, and when I do I go full "mall walker" mode - where you swing your arms higher to get your heart rate up. The fat people make fun of me by doing the same. They make it about 10 feet before they're all bent over and breathing heavy. 😂 _"I guess it DOES work!"_ Do they join me, after? Never.
LMAO!!!!!!! Thanks for all this very informative information about the food at McDonalds. I have not eaten at that place since I was a teenager (early 1960's) and I am now 76 years old. Their hamburgers back then were very thin and had no idea what the ingredients were. The only thing about McDonalds back then was the cheap prices. I tried them for a little while and then did not like them and had a bad cooked hamburger one time. Never went back to McDonalds. I get a kick out of driving by McDonalds today, and tons of cars backed up in the drive up lines. Then you wonder why people have health problems eating this food over long term periods.
When I lived in the USA I used to eat Mcdonalds all the time. Had nothing but stomach issues. After leaving I stopped eating it and 98% of my issues resolved. True story.
It's the American way eating fast food and guzzling soda pop everyday, or other drinks with added sugars. I drink spring water everyday and I love Coconut water too it's just pricey. Twinnings peppermint tea decaffeinated is good hot or cold too

I worked at McDonald's throughout the 90's and recall how good everything tasted. At some point their food became unpalatable, which is why I haven't eaten there in 8 years. Feeding a kid McDonald's is the REAL child abuse 🤮
Child abuse. Are cars driven in your area? Where do the carbon monoxide emissions go? Do you breathe? Pesticides, chemicals, radiation, are being pumped into the air, sea and earth every second but McDonald's is child abuse? Lol
I used to run around with a guy who's dad was a chemist with McDonald's. He shared a couple ingredients with me & I immediately stopped eating their food
And the alternative is… a parent who stays home to cook food and care for the children and educate the children as a stay at home parent? (Because fast food is poison but convenient and “cheap” on its face, daycare involves the neglect of children and damage of separation from parents and aggression of those children raised in that environment, and schools fundamentally cannot spend the time a child needs to learn best because there are many children, not to mention changes on education programs.) So where do you make the space to actually make the change? To have someone with a little hobby subsistence farm. Who has the time? Who has the money for that? If you can halve the workforce, get parents back into the home, the children might be better adjusted and the wages might be higher (because the supply of workers touches on the wages). What do you think?

I stopped eating McDonalds 16 years ago when my classmate had a Cheeseburger in a container for 3 years and it didnt rot. He did it for an experiment for college.
Yeah... It for the reasons you think buddy boy..... The reason a McDonald's burger doesn't rot has nothing to do with chemicals, lack of nutrition, or anything else you should be scared of. It all comes down to water activity. See, a McDonald's hamburger is small and thin, giving it a very high ratio of surface area to volume. Without any moisture, that burger doesn't so much spoil as it does dry out. It's like finding mold on the inside of a waterlogged house - the mold feeds and thrives in moist environments. A McDonald's meal can spoil, but it has to be under certain conditions.1 Oct 2022

I don't eat fast food very often for the very reasons you point out. When I was a child back in the '70's these foods were a treat you had very rarely. It's so sad that this has become so popular in our diet. It's literally killing us.
Correct. Take away was a once a week or less often food not part of the daily diet as nowadays. People were also far more active then as well. Now, walking a mile to a park before football training etc is a forgotten experience. Most parents drive their children to the park/oval etc to begin training. We are lazier than ever eating fattier foods than ever and wondering why we have problems. As the computer geeks say GIGO = Garbage in Garbage out. We put Garbage into our mouths that requires several trips a day to the toilet rather than 1 trip a day for a number 2. If you do more than 1 number 2 a day change your diet and see the difference and if your number ones are not relatively clear with a little yellow tinge you are also drinking too much soda, coffee etc. Try drinking water only for a week and see how clear your number 1's become. Your body tells you if you are eating/drinking too much garbage.
but see that's the key what you said you don't eat fast food very often, so many people today eat it all the time and frankly it's not even cheap anymore so I don't know how they can afford it
@@ianerdman5013 And the quality of it encourages me to eat it less. I can prepare the same foods myself for 25% of the cost they ask for and I know what into my food exactly, know it tastes good and is fresh. Why pay much more for inferior quality and tasting foods? Convenience does not justify the cost both to my wallet or the damage they do to my body. To each their own but I look for value for money nowadays. I do not have money to waste.
In the 50s and 60s my family ate McDonald's maybe 6 times a year. The fries cooked in tallow were delish. When they switched to serd oils in the 90s I took one taste of them and nearly puked. What a major error they made there.
When my kids were in elementary school, there were ‘hamburger day’ fundraisers raisers. They were crooked at 11:00 am, wrapped and put in camping coolers to keep them warm. They were delivered to the school around 12:00 and then sorted and taken to the classrooms. Our kids participated…once. Around that time, we stopped (for convenience) at a McD’s and, when I bit into my burger, got a mouthful of grease. Since then, only a couple of times for nuggets. I don’t think we’ve even driven through a McD’s parking lot in 20 years. The food speaks for itself. And no, we don’t visit the other one’s except when we’re in a pinch when we’re traveling.

Yeah, the fries were actually decent many years ago when they had fresh potatoes to make fries in store and fried in beef tallow. Much healthier and tastier than today’s version.
Just a note, as a high school kid and college student, I worked as a short order cook in several restaurants, some name brand. This was the 1960s just so you know. All of fried foods were cooked in either beef tallow, or lard. Somehow the health freaks decided this was bad for us, so the switch was on to use crisco. Not only was there a loss in flavor, but the health issues were often debated even back then. But, alas, now generations of consumers are addicted to special sauces and sweet dipping sauces. That is a great way to hide the poor quality of the base product! That's the way of the world, and corporate giants tease our puppet strings to this sad result!!!
It was the way that in the 60s and especially 70s that the US corn growers (with a HUGE overproduction) could make use of their product. It was drummed in to all that "Fat makes you Fat" which has now been proved false. When I used to work at McDonald’s, putting the smaller patties straight on the grill was like hearing the sound of playing table air hockey with a dozen pucks 🏒 And he’s right, the 1/4lbs patties are 100% beef, and never frozen at the location I was at. However, McDonald’s only redeeming qualities, the beef, is still highly questionable on whether or not they’re actually taking it from cows that may also have preservatives and/or unethical diets. The first day I worked at McDonald’s was the last time I ate their food. A cursory glance over the boxes in the walk-in’s told me that 1: McDonalds lied in their adverts when they told the population that all their chicken was 100% British free range, it certainly was not. The chicken was from either Thailand or Brazil - neither of which were free range. And 2: that the sheer amount of highly processed ingredients in ALL their products explained the physicality and behaviours of the people I was serving. And when I asked my manager to go part time as I was starting college, they said “no, it’s McDonalds OR school.” My reply was “you’ve just made this decision the easiest one I’ve ever made.”
I worked at McDonalds from 15 to 16. I had college exams and they refused to give me the weekend off to revise. I stopped turning up. Took them 4 months to send me a letter saying I was fired.

Because of junk food people have lost taste of real food, I cook most of my food and find fast food not so good taste. Take a tomato in grocery it has no taste, but if you take a garden tomato it taste like a real fruit.
I don`t go to stores anymore. I have an ever-expanding simple vegetable garden, lots of berries, and a whole lot of fruit trees. I plant various beans around my fruit trees and share them with the wild bunnies but since they make vines I still get a harvest and the bunnies are happy and stay out of my lettuce and other things. In cooler weather I grow tubers around the fruit trees...carrots, beets, turnips, radish...and some lettuce and mustard greens etc. I order canned fish, rice, salt, coconut/olive oils and animal fats to add to meals and powdered butter & milk for hot cereal in winter.

The reason McDonald's in Thailand tasted amazing compared to ours is that the ingredients used in America are outright banned 😳 The ingredients in McDonald's here are prohibited in other countries. I never tasted a Number 1 so enjoyable and full of flavor while on holiday in Thailand. The so-called fast food here I'm convinced is designed to keep us in the ER.
I am from the States. Born in 1955 in Southern California, so I grew up eating McDonald’s. But somewhere in my 30s or 40s I stopped eating there. In 2013 I moved to Poland. There have been a few times when I had no choice but to eat at a McDonald’s here. The first time I did I was shocked at the quality of the food. It was so much better here than in the US.
@SandraHof Amen to that. I was beyond perplexed. I wanted to eat McDonald's even more coming back because of the taste but once I did a Google search I fully understood America will move the goalposts in the name of profits. No thanks
Burger King is like this, too. I had Burger King during a work trip to Singapore and it tasted amazing compared to the US version. They have completely different locally sourced French Fries there. They are not even cut the same way. I don't think any fast food place anywhere in the world still uses tallow, though. I think part of the problem is that there is just not enough tallow produced for it to be at a price point where the major fast food chains could afford it and use it. Especially in the USA, the beef herds have not kept up with the population growth.

I ate at McDonalds once in my life, I am now 82, stopped all soft drinks years ago, wont eat anything that has the Farmers touted high fructose corn syrup or use the corn ethanol crap in my car. Watch what you eat. There is some “real food” out there. You are what you eat.
Yup. As someone who used to be called "the microwave queen" by family and friends, by my 40th birthday, I was very ill and on over 30 different meds per day with an army of different medical specialists. I hated cooking and would only eat fast food and anything that I could nuke for less than a couple of minutes. I was morbidly obese and had an alcohol addiction even after getting bariatric surgery. By 2017, I had finally hit rock bottom; devastated by the fact that I had drank on Easter, which as a Christian I had vowed to never do. My last drink was on April 30th; "white-knuckling it" until I could get to the National Day of Prayer event mine and two other area churches would be holding on the evening of May 4th. Making it to the event, I was supernaturally healed the moment I prayed out loud against the spirit of alcohol, hence the beginning of my whole health journey. I was able to completely detox myself from all of the toxic chemicals that I had once depended on and taught myself how to stop using the microwave altogether and cooking whole foods on the stove, in the oven or toaster oven, and in a slow cooker. I'll be 60 years old next year and I'm the healthiest I've ever been, and much more than I was 20 years ago ☺️ I get my beef, chicken, and pork from a local butcher shop here in Idaho that sources their products from local farms and ranches that are dedicated to humane butchering practices; better for the animals and better for us humans, as there aren't any stress hormones in the meats or poultry. GPPrimeMeats.com; they have been in business since the 1950s and they SHIP too ☺️ And no, they didn't pay me to share this; I'm just a forever customer who appreciates their dedication to their ethical standards and the best service to their customers ☺️ Oh, and I've also completely ditched the use of aluminum foil for parchment paper in my baking, and I invested in a good set of stainless steel pots and pans so I could stop using the aluminum and Teflon pans my mom always swore by along with using aluminum foil. She died from complications of a stroke less than a month after her 55th birthday, unfortunately, and my father predeceased her the year before at 50 years old from alcoholism 🥺 So yeah, I have a lot of reasons for being grateful for finally getting on a much healthier path. ✌️💖🖖
It's amazing the damage over time, a simple thought "I hate cooking" can cause, when it becomes a belief, a foundation to your life. Well done on the reformation of your life, all glory to God!
Rochelle- I heard why Teflon is bad and it may even kill your parakeet or canary. I avoid teflon because I have COPD. (from 40 years of smoking) What's this about aluminum foil? I use it to line oven pans to keep them neat when cooking. I also use it to cover food when baking in the oven and cover food that I put in the fridge. I could always cover with saran wrap, but they say that's dangerous too. (BPA) Mike
I remember trying a Big Mac in the 70s and I thought it was the greatest thing ever. I lived in a rural area and went a long time without having my second one. Then I tried it again in the 90s and thought.. is this the same recipe?’ Growing up in an Italian family with a Mediterranean diet was probably the best upbringing I could have had. Thanks Grandma!
I changed my food habits 10 years ago and since then I literally prepare all processed ingredients myself ... without the junk. They maintain not 6 years, but about 30 days unsterilized, and about 1 year sterilized. The most important point however is, they are healthy, less expensive and fun to make. Self-made ketchup for example is an adventure every time, and I have discovered so many variations, I can't count. Also, certain sauces are prepared in minutes and are incredibly tasty, compared to industry food. Mayonnaise is ready in 3 minutes and contains just simple ingredients: full eggs, lemon juice, salt, good olive oil, eventually mustard. I have had guests who remained "glued" at the bowl and would not let go until emptied 😅 With this Mayonnaise you may make a memorable Russian Salad. And the best of all: you don't even need to be a good cook. It doesn't mean, you won't get fat, but at least, you won't get sick from chemicals! Do it yourself!
@@jogordon1530 It's much less, I pay about 1/10 for the ingredients. There is of course an investment of time and in order to waste as little as possible I make certain ingredients in batches. Certain ingredients I just make in the quantity I need so there is no occasion to throw away valueable food. This is particularly true for all kinds of sauces and salads. The largest expense are spices.
@Y2ksw1, You get me going in the direction of DIY. 😊 You're absolutely right, I could put a little more effort on making things myself. We're eating healthy, but things like mayonnaise might be good to make. Looking in to it! Thank you. 🙏🌹

My wife and I switched over to a Keto diet several years ago. We lost a LOT of weight and our health improved substantially. Lately (over the last 3 months), we're moving more towards a ketovore/carnivore diet. I've started losing even more weight and have gotten even healthier. The only thing I will buy at fast food joints now are burger patties if I'm out running around and get too hungry to wait until I get home. And the alternative is… a parent who stays home to cook food and care for the children and educate the children as a stay at home parent? So where do you make the space to actually make the change? To have someone with a little hobby subsistence farm. Who has the time? Who has the money for that?
If you can halve the workforce, get parents back into the home, the children might be better adjusted and the wages might be higher (because the supply of workers touches on the wages).

Thank you. I showed my two boys who are long time McDonald’s fans your video. We have not eaten at McDonald’s now for months and they don’t ever want to eat there again. I finally broke the cycle. My boys are eating more fish and I got my little one to like eggs and we are staying away from the excessive sweets. I have noticed a change in attitude and energy level.
I don't eat fast food very often for the very reasons you point out. When I was a child back in the '70's these foods were a treat you had very rarely. It's so sad that this has become so popular in our diet. It's literally killing us.
At least they were using beef towel back in the '70s and '80s when I frequented Mickey D's
I would be lucky to eat any fast food in a month as I even prefer to prepare snacks to take and eat on trips as most fast food is too expensive for me as a self funded retiree. Portions today are much smaller today than 50 years ago, taste different(much worse) and cost far more than they used to.
Most of my friends have diabetes, I'm in my 60's and stopped eating MCD's 15 years ago cause I thought it was garbage. I don't have it , thank God! Thanks doctor for reinforcing my thoughts, Best decision I made

@@Squirreltail581one of their breakfast sandwiches come on a biscuit
Why are they so popular?!
(YAY) I haven't eaten at a fastfood 'place' for about 20 years, and have a lovely deep pan and basket with lots of lard in it for my very occasional forays into fried food.
How do you cook/fry with lard? Can you use the fat that drips off of meat when you cook it? And does the fat go bad? Isn’t fat super flammable?
It doesn’t take much to tempt a lazy person
It was probably not the health freaks that thought beef Tallow is bad there was an agenda in place a long time now... to start destroying our bodies and our immune system from within without our knowledge. But they have to Virtue signal as if they care about our health lol
@@silversilk8438 You use lard as you would oil. Pan fry or deep fry. Yes, use the fat that drips off meat in cooking, it's tasty. And he’s right, the 1/4lbs patties are 100% beef, and never frozen at the location I was at.

I came back from Thailand this past April having culture shock while eating at McDonald's. Returned home and immediately started researching it.

And no, they didn't pay me to share this; I'm just a forever customer who appreciates their dedication to their ethical standards and the best service to their customers ☺️

I have had guests who remained "glued" at the bowl and would not let go until emptied 😅
With this Mayonnaise you may make a memorable Russian Salad. And the best of all: you don't even need to be a good cook.
It doesn't mean, you won't get fat, but at least, you won't get sick from chemicals!
Do it yourself!
I hate to think what your grocery bill is just so you can “do it yourself”!
Thank you. 🙏🌹
When you make mayo how do you go about it (thinking about salmonella poisoning) that is my only worry about making it myself.
@@daniel_dipo Always wash the eggs thoroughly before using the raw eggs: Salmonella is on the outside, on the eggshells. My sister makes her own mayonaise for years already, never a single problem. 😊
However, I'm also practicing fasting so that I _can_ wait until I get home, no matter how long it's been since my last meal. Humans survived and thrived on a fast/feast lifestyle for hundreds of thousands of years. Our lifestyle of constant food intake is actually killing us.
Just don't do a keto diet if you are diabetic or an alcoholic, talk to a doctor first to get bloodwork done to make sure you are safe from insulin issues or diabetic ketoacidocis developing.

I stopped eating Maccas about 15 years ago which was a good decision & I've never looked back. In the last few months I've discovered that I'm dairy, wheat and gluten intolerant & this has made me reassess my life. I now eat a lot healthier & feel much better & my body has been thanking me for this big change. I live in Western Australia.😊 🇦🇺
Figured it was Australia when you said Maccas!
@@danestevens1 ME TOO! 🤣
how did u discover your intolerance? i fear i may have some similar but no idea how to find out
@originalSiiiN It's really quite easy for me as wheat & gluten give me the instant shits & dairy does the same thing. Plus, my migraines have significantly improved!!!! Thanks for listening.
Hi Doc.
Wow, I can't understand how this product can be sold legally. Thankyou for your professional care. Keep up your good work.
Because $$$$$$$$

I have coeliac which has prevented me from eating garbage like this my entire life. I feel it’s a blessing in disguise.

Grew up eating lots of corn syrup products, we didn't know. Gave that up when I learned about it. Now, if I have that rare soda or something with corn syrup, I get so tired, I have to sleep immediately.
I just found your channel and I love it. I watched that movie Fat Sick & Nearly Dead and I stopped eating McDonalds and felt sick to my stomach because I had been feeding it to my children. Since I have stopped eating fast food, plain flour, sugar and dairy I have lost weight and gained my life back.

I use certifyed WAGYU beef tallow for frying. I remember back in the mid to late 1960s that McDonalds used fresh, washed potatoes. The employee put them into a machine that took the skins off and rinsed them. The potatoes were deep fried and they were superb. I would pay the higher cost if they would make them this way again! By the way, I'm 74 years old and I certainly remember McD's was more wholesome long ago....😊
Half the kids are prediabetic. 44% are obese. 75% are overweight. 1/33 kids has autism when it used to be one out of 10,000. A lot of it is what we're eating. RFK speaks with great detail about this.

He's wrong about others , like guns and a couple other things. I don't care about a person, I care about the truths they tell. And they're opinions are their own. Just like yours. Just like mine.
