Flat earthers have not produced one single geocentric model that actually works to scale, yet you can simply put the world on a globe and you get a perfect scale model.
because if even if what you're suggesting was possible, not a single flat earther exists that has the capability to come up with one.

I love how humble the scientists were trying to be and how they made such an effort not to condescend but it’s practically impossible when dealing with these types of people.
Yeah, it spoke absolute volumes about their maturity when during the question about the other side being uneducated, none of them stepped forward whereas all of the flat earth andys did
and they keep cutting them off when they are trying to prove a point and it must be super annoying for the scientists. they just dont listen 😪
You can't convince an idiot that they're wrong
It's like that saying; "arguing with a idiot is like playing chess against a pigeon, it doesn't matter if you win because the pigeon will knock off the pieces and shit on the board thinking it won".
This is a big problem and a big mistake. Me, as a medical doctor, do my best to belittle and insult the conspiracy theorists to make them feel bad and embarrassed, especially the antivaxxers I deal with on a daily basis. It's far more effective than having discussions with them. There's NOTHING TO DISCUSS with these people, they are objectively 100% wrong and too uneducated and unintelligent to be able to realize it. Reasoning doesn't work with them, presenting them with facts doesn't work either because they don't understand those facts. Insulting them and making them feel bad is the only way to make them realize they're wrong. Having these respectful one to one discussions pretending we're on the same level are what boosts their confidence and makes them feel like they're capable of having arguments with far more educated people.
Flat earthers: “I wish they’d hear our side of the story”

It's not "side" per se. It's "face", a sphere has one face. If we really talking about sides, spheres have infinite sides. Nice joke btw

In a vacuum, they would hit the ground at the same time. The reason why they don't normally is because of air resistance. (btw I ain't no scientist so I might be wrong, correct me if I am)
The most charitable interpretation of this statement I can think of is "show me the graviton particle." Cuz they were talking about assumptions in science, gravity is one of the four fundamental forces. The three other forces' particles have been discovered. The "assumption" she might be talking about is the existence of this graviton particle. The idea could be that, because scientists have found the other particles that mostly align with these force, the "assumption" is that the graviton particle MUST exist. But idk, I highly doubt she's gone that deep into understanding physics.

that's why the scientists should spend more time getting the flat earthers to talk more about their "model" if only from their amusement. simple things like where the sun goes at night, and why you can call someone in Japan and they will tell you it is night during your day.
@@eniszita7353 they have explanations for all of that. of course there explanations make no actual sense and is based on cherry picking scientific theory to back there idea lol. the funny part is they accept any scientific theory as factual only when it backs there belief but disregard and use the theory as a negative on anything that proves them completely wrong.
16:00 actually there 17 Apollo missions, 7 of them were meant to land on the moon (Apollo 11 - Apollo 17) but because of the Apollo 13 incident only 6 landings were made. This is to clarify some info :)
Sunset.
Fun fact: Earth isn't a sphere, it's an oblate spheroid. Meaning it flattens at the poles and widens out at the equator. This is because of the centrifugal force of earth's rotation
aCtUaLlY 🤓
Earth is a sphere but not a perfect sphere I forgot to mention
5Head🍷 Knew it
5Head I already knew this when I was born
Called it Ellipsoid
We can call someone on the other side of the world and ask if its light out, yet here we are
This dude fuckin works on string theory, one of the coolest fuckin ideas of how our universe works and he’s having to explain that the earth is round
I feel like the lady's husband's death played a role in reshaping her views. She talked about how his doubts about the moon landing were crazy to her at first, and only after his death did she go down that rabbit hole. This may be her way of coping or grieving her husband.
I don't understand why flat earthers still exist when this dude "Ferdinand Magellan (1480-1521) circumnavigated the world"
when she said "mine husband was killed" someone in chat said "oh so thats why she went crazy" LMAAAAO
That woman who wanted to go the moon was so optimistic 5hen duddenly said "but then my husband was killed" in the most calm way possible
I'd like to add to 6:10 that many (ancient) flat-earthers believed that the sky was actually a black dome or canvas, with heaven behind it. According to them, the stars were just holes in the dome. This is also where the mythological idea of "the sky falling down" comes from.
Correction: not all religious scriptures refer to the Earth as a "circle" or something that is flat. In fact, the Quran talks about the orbit of the planets and how they're spheres (such as 39:5, 21:33, etc..). This woman is absolutely absurd.
Do you really expect her to do any research or reading? She just says whatever bullshit she comes up with.
The bible told me to isolate gravity feelsdankman
@@concent1738 I have a question, what does isolating gravity really means?????
The fact that the Bible even tried to claim the earth was flat, when the Greeks not only figured out it was round, but were able to calculate the size of the planet over 200 years before Jesus was even born is ridiculous in of itself.
Bruh
If I did my own research on the subject and came to the conclusion that the world was flat I would know for sure that I am a moron.
The ending of this video had me roflmao 🤣🤣
Isolating gravity....when you get off your stool and you don't float the fuck away. Bam, nailed it.
I love how America made one of the greatest moments of all history by setting foot on the moon and yet its still a chat stereotype that Americans think it's all fake.
Because the first people to start the conspiracy that it was fake were Americans and most of the people who openly put themselves as flat earthers are Americans
The american education system produces very smart and also very dumb people. If smart people think out-of-the-box it leads to moonlanding, if dump people do it they call the smart people liars.
The crap they showed us is. They could have gone to the moon later but that doesn't dismiss the fact that the stupid video they showed everyone was fake.
I'm gonna save this and watch it when I'm struggling to get sleep. I already know this video is gonna knock me tf out 2 minutes in. Thanks X
flat earthers even comprehending a professionals mindset is far fetched...
"Dont trust internet because of disinformation" --- Also flats --- "Have you seen this video in youtube that proves that earth is flat?"
