I WATCH YOUR CARS HERE IN POLAND IN EUROPE AND I AM IMPRESSED BY OLD AMERICAN MOTORING. THANKS AND GREETINGS
Just want to say hi. Do you have A Mazda RX7.
Was wanting to know if you would be interested in a trade for a 1973 Chevy Laguna, 2 door as motor and transmission. Motor non running locked up. Wondering if the mazda has the motor in it
amazing how you give the yard life and personality in these videos, Silas. You are one hard-working guy.
My dad and I shared the love of old trucks,we farmed row crops, and milked cows … our grain truck fleet consisted of a 1944 1.1/2,a 1950 Ford F-7 twin screw, converted from over the road tractor to a bed and hoist 400 bushel grain/silo truck, dad pulled the 85hp flat head, replaced it with a 332cid truck motor. I started driving that truck off road filling silo when I was about 12 years old . I still have both of these trucks sitting in the barn yard! Why ? I don’t know? Anyway we also had a 1953 Chevy,a 1949 kb-6 International,1958 bc-180 IHC. All I can do look at them now as I have ALS ! I guess that’s why I love watching your adventures! So thank you!
Me and my Dad would go to my uncle's salvage almost every weekend. I remember him and I counting cars many times. He passed many years ago. I know he would love your channel and be excited to see what you found the same as me.
Watching all the vehicles I was struck that each was its owner’s pride and joy at one time. That presence is strong. I believe Silas also feels that so he preserves as much of that as he can. Excellent video as always.
I really appreciate your content. It’s a great escape from the negativity in the world. I like the longer videos, and just the realness of your day-to-day adventures. Please don’t change a thing! I’m headed to your merch page. I know all of your business work (including the paid promotions) are how you support your family.
13:02. Oh boy, the Fairmont wagon got Sleeperdude's name written all over it! Also see a ton of Puddin's Fab Shop/Junkyard Digs/WatchJRGo/VGG/Restored(Turnin Rust)/Tom's Refurb material here too!
I personally like the Toyota pickup you were gonna scrap, but there may be some good parts to remove & sell!
Silas hope u got Clint Eastwood instinct s while napping in yard cheers 🥂 😊
I was talking with my new neighbor this morning. I knew he grew up in Kansas and I was telling him about your channel. Turns out his family is from Lyons and he once lived in Hutchinson. He knows of your place. Small world, Silas.
What could make this day better, waking up at 4:00am, having a cup of coffee and watching Silas do what he’s great at!!
I'm watching you since day one but now it's getting boring it seems like you're doing commercials for people instead of working in the junkyard
No that's too early in the morning
4am nah thanks
What a superb way of looking at it. If you're behind with your work you are winning. I am WAY WAY WAY behind so now I feel great! ❤👍
I WATCH YOUR CARS HERE IN POLAND IN EUROPE AND I AM IMPRESSED BY OLD AMERICAN MOTORING. THANKS AND GREETINGS
This was very interesting to see the whole yard and all the cars and know more about hove work, i like that .
You have earned your wings! Great job with the drone.
Ended the video with the 60/61 hammerhead Chevy... Nice!👌
I wish I was closer to you. I'm way up in Buffalo, NY I saw quite a few cars I would buy and all the parts to restore them. Thanks for all your videos, I really try to watch them all.
That black cutlass seems to have some good panels on it. Those have come up a lot on value.
Clam shell loader buckets make great tree pullers.
I like the music you added for the video!
❤Locust best heating and cooking firewood around for outdoor and indoor! Burns very hot and clean!
AWESOME!
Idea for a 3rd channel: "One of These Days" - only content from cleaning out semi's bought at auctions, taking out trees, crushing mobile homes, tearing apart RV's, etc. 😁
Thank you Silas I appreciate the video I hope you and your Family.
had a blessed Thanksgiving.
Sunday mornings with Silas!
Hey, Silas: Greetings from B.C...thanks for this great video.I really appreciate this tour of your yard. It's like being in a giant playpen for all us old car and truck fanatics! By the way, I'm a Packard man, as well as Studebakers and Hudsons, so, the more the merrier.Keep up the collecting, man!
Always enjoy your posts doesn’t matter how long
I like naps too!!
Hey Silas, Make a walk thru video of your motorcycles. It would be cool to see them all.
Glad to see you got the new drone up and running, What a great video.
Nice Video , you have a few that are workable but most are ready for the crusher . You are a busy man , Take care , get some rest , Stuart in Canada .
have you ever considered fixing a small old tractor up and using it to cut some of the grass and small trees, and just use it as all around small nimble work machine with bucket as well for trash when you tear apart campers or busses and or just to pull stuff around?
I like watching you tear vehicles up with your machines.
Keep napping, it does your body good but pull out a locus tree or two while you’re explaining your to do list, we all know that you’re never lazy 👍🔧
Thanks for putting out the early video. I just hadn't been able to sleep. Gave me something good to watch.
I wished I lived close to you I love messing around with old junk
Silas those eye covers would sell like crazy if it cut out more than light. Example-wife, kids, neighbors and any other annoyance.
They sell audio ones as well to block out sound!
Good video Silas
I would like to see a video of you cleaning and taking out the trees
hope you have a great day
I enjoy what you’re doing keep it up
Good Morning There My Good Big Bro Silas Of Adventures Made From Scratch
have a nap good idea good video
At 4:50 you talk about crushing that 1980 Black Oldsmobile. Saying it has a good frame. The body looks good too. I'm in Wisconsin and people here would love vehicles bodies that look that rust free. You should try selling the whole car. JMHO. You're one lucky man.
Silas you sure get up early!
Brilliant Inventory - Nice View of Your Property from the Drone ! That "Sleeper" Chair looks Inviting for sure ! Great Video and many Cheers from Australia !!!!
Ur going right direction older complet vehicles getting harder to come by excellent silas 😊
i appreciate what you give us thankyou GodBlees
Great video. I'd love to walk around your yard and check out everything. Is your dad still selling his cars? I'd love to see his yard again.
Yard by me has a big metal box that fits into the forks on the loader that is filled with concrete they strap onto the forks and use that the collapse the roof pillars and flatten them down to make them stackable very easily. Might be worth building before paying to bring crusher in all the time.
The truck at 6:47, maybe you could cut the clip diagonally, with the cut ending right behind the drivers headlight, and mid fender on the passenger side. It could be a corner piece then, and most of the rot would be cut away.
So many COOL cars.😊
them gravity chairs are amazing I slept in one for 6 months with no issues
Never seen the row of Tuk-Tuks before (20:15 drone footage) - interested to hear the story behind them. I can't imagine they are a common sight in the US? Another great video, Silas. Have a great week!
I made a video about those when I got them. It’s one of my top 10 or so videos actually. They’re westcoasters
@@AdventuresMadeFromScratch Ah, thanks Silas - I'll check it out!
The locust tree make a pretty fast growing hedge fence, as kids in the fall we would take the beans and rub them on the sidewalk this would create warmth and would heat up ones hands kind of take the bite out of the cold for a bit
whoa , that Mercury looked real cool , at about 5 minute mark , can you say more on it please Silas , if possible
thanks . Just love your style of operating ,sits to long crush it way to go .
Haven’t watched a video this early in a while
Much enjoyed this inventory video Silas, I belive this is the first I've seen it all in one video.
17:17 I'll assume this is the same Mercury wagon I seen in the first video you posted after I subscribed, I remember you made mention of it's unique air conditioner outlets.
Nice drone video too, is it the same drone Mr. Goodpliers traded you for? If so its been good to you.
Stayin tuned! 🤠👍
Supplement:
Just viewed your last vid, it's pretty damn cool someone gifted you a new drone.
Thank you whoever you are, we'll all enjoy it!
Thank you! Actually this is a different drone now. I still have the other one, but I like this one a little better.
Yes that is cool Peace out
I don’t know how you keep track of it all! My need for organizing wouldn’t be a good fit for a salvage operation, but I really enjoy seeing all your cool cars and trucks. You are for sure a busy man, so thanks for sharing your time and adventures. Peace
Hey silas thought I seen 64 rancharo how are those tail light assemblies & front bumper ? Could. Use if decent 😊
Take the locust trees out with roots attached replant around your boundary make a good hedge
Always enjoy your video
I enjoy all ur vids keep up the good work
I'm with ya Silas I need it blacked out to sleep plus a fan blowing on me. Thanks for the update I'd love to walk around there some day look for something to buy
Hello of France !
Nice vidéo ! What a beautiful car wreck 😍
It would be cool to make a video on European wrecks... , Peugeot, Mercedes citroen Jaguar bmw...😉
OMG!! Silas!! NO you are NOT lazy.
The junk yard is looking more organized than last year! Thanks Silas I really appreciate the extra effort you go to do youtube, hopefully you can find someone to edit or at least part edit your videos and take some of the workload off of you.
In the videos the 20-30s vehicles seem to get past up, would like to see them covered. I know most are rough but I'm always trying to get a glimpse of them.
One day I’ll buy a Silas car or truck. Kansas is a long trek from NC.
I like the long videos. Wish I had the money I Would Deal You out of that postal Jeep. I always wanted one of them.
Silas I have no idea how you can keep track of you inventory especially with everything being spread out so much. It's not like counting items in shelves in a warehouse which I used to do besides loading and unloading trucks. But, I am sure you have a system that works for you.
So many cars Silas 👍👍🇦🇺
I'd love to have them 3 wheeled cushmans
Kool stuff 😎
The G-body drag racers should be all over that Cutlass.
Couple of nice Pontiacs and I always fancied a 69/70 Lincoln continental Mk3
I am witness to the fact that Silas is NOT a lazy man !
527 cars and trucks in the not sold ready-to scrap inventory.
Covered in about EIGHT inches of snow today!
Glad I’m out of town today 😆 I picked the perfect weekend to go on a trip down south.
57 Ford Ranchero???? Wow!!!
Keep up good job 😊
Did you ever make a video of the small crusher that appears at 14:56?
I could get behind a video of trashing the mobile homes you have on site. I don't know if you are using them for storage. But, I do know. The only good scrap from them is the plumbing and the frame. Plus, I really got a kick out of you tossing cars through the old house you had next door. That was hilarious.
Yes! There will definitely be some mobile home trashing on the 2nd channel this winter!
Silas do you have any Perimmons trees in your scrap yard?
Question - It looks like you have enough space, so why don't you clear an area and burn the scrap wood and fiberglass from the campers, box beds, boats, etc? Or do you have anti burning regulations?
Use the excavator and dig a pit 6'-8' deep put the burn material in bottom to control any spread.
The OEM rally wheels on the Cutlass are worth keeping.
Yes, they clean-up nice and can be powder coated and put in new chrome inserts. They are an attractive wheel design that looks good also on earlier model GM vehicles.
Living in SOUTH AUSTRALIA can only dream of them cars
Well done Silas, you are a great guy to follow and I really enjoy your videos here in the uk, you have some great stuff in your yards keep up the hard work my friend, you have a great life working and doing what you do with auctions etc, and you come across like a true Gentleman, would love to visit you some day and maybe ship a car or truck back to the uk.
There's a Moggy at 05:42 - quite popular in the UK.
Wassup
An AMFS this early? Crazy!
An accident that may cost me a boatload of views unfortunately 😞
@@AdventuresMadeFromScratch That’s a blooper...
* Better be careful Silas. The women think your kinda cute. You go sleeping in that chair with blinders on the trafficer's will steal ya ! Lol ! 🤭👍

Do you have any chrome grills and front bumpers for 60-66 GMC's?🖖
You need a few employees, and with those extra buildings you can set up a Ebay area with a nice picture lighting booth!
He has stated in the past that good help is hard to find.
@@urbanurchin5930 Well aware of that, but that dosen't mean you stop trying to find someone, not every worker is going to be a slug ;-)
20:17 does anyone know what sorta hatch back this is? my uncle used to have one. i loved that car. i think it was a buick... but i cant remember.
Most and myself don't like it gettin dark early.
Some earlybirds like gettin the worm when it's light early.
You'd think those earlybirds could be smart enough to gather some of those worms together and buy a flashlight for the dark months to find said worms.
😉👍
THE END
Nice show Bro. Silas. i see that you are up early too. Did you ever get anything done on you 4 door Dodge truck project?
Are you in the Christmas Tree business. 🎄 😊
