BUCK AT 18 YARDS! | Central Florida Archery Season | Public Land | Week 1
Вставка
- Опубліковано 12 лис 2020
- In this episode I hunt the archery season here in Central Florida on a section of public land. I see some deer and at last light have a buck work his way in to under 20 yards!
I did not want to upload this video because of how depressing it is, but I was forced to by Camerawoman Meg.
Hope you enjoy!
Well done Vlog
Those skeeters are intense!
One of the less enjoyable parts of FL!!!!
We remember the ones we miss most of all. Great video. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
Sucks to miss. Been there, done that. Keep at it. Good video.
Thanks!
Great video footage. Thank Meg for having you upload the video. Happens to all of us. Just keep at it.
Thanks! Tough to blow an opportunity like that, they don't come very often here in FL.
It’s fine, rest assured that you didn’t shoot him in the guts. Practice everyday helps but it’s hard to practice in that high stress mindset. Only way to get better is to keep trying, don’t quit. Join a group of respectable bowhunters near you to lean on in times like this. You share with each other what had worked and what hasn’t and collectively you put it all together. Good luck!
Thanks for the advice I’m slowly getting better with each hunt. Best of luck to you this season!
Heartbreaking! Thanks for sharing
Man this looks a lot like a place I hunt. APBR?
No, I have never gotten out to Avon. Do you have much success there?
Maybe one day I'll draw that hunt. Really enjoyed that video.
Thanks. Would have been better with a dead deer.
As a lifelong Florida public land hunter, I feel your pain! Opportunities like that are rare. As bad as missing is, gut-shooting and losing a buck is even worse, so try not to feel too bad. By the way, you made a big mistake with that first pig. That grunt you made was a perfect imitation of a sow's alarm call. I've heard that sound many times and she never has to do it twice before a general hog stampede is in full swing.
Thanks. I didn't realize that was an alarm call. I need to figure out a better way of stopping pigs so I can get a shot.
@@alexnicely8059 Anything but that grunt! I've seen UA-cam videos of guys stopping pigs by merely saying "Hey Pig!" The hog freezes, waiting for another sign of danger, and the guy lines up an easy shot.
The little oinkers!! 🐷
