Amen!! I had another guy this weekend do the same thing. People don’t care. However, the only people ALOUD to drive ANY vehicle is someone with disabilities. It’s pretty clear. I am seriously thinking of putting a PETITION together for Florida WMAs. Might seem like a wild shot. But if they charge an admission for entry, maybe even to camp. It could pay for staff to check people at the gate for all their permits. It would keep people out who don’t want to play by the rules. A lot more hunters hunting there ever. Time to start really managing them WMAs
@@Floridaoutdoorschannel The problem with that is only Law enforcement has the authority to check your permits and license. If the volunteers or even if paid employees at a check station stop and detain you to ask for your information they can be subject to lawsuits and false imprisonment.
@@garynichols6415 That’s correct. Paid staff would have to have the legal right away. Basically what I’m saying is the honor system is not so honoring. People can come and go as they please. WMAs will continue to suffer
I can live with another hunter 300-400 yards from me. I was hunting Croom muzzleloader quota and the afternoon hunt on the first day, I had another hunter walk by me at 60yds. I got his attention and he walked on. I heard him coming back through some oaks and he walked and stopped next to me at 35yds, waved and walked another 28yds and climbed at tree. He was only 62yds from me. I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to get into any kind of shooting war tied to a tree. You never know what people will do and it’s not worth my life or his over a hunting spot. That place is really crowded with approximately 600 hunters in the area.
300-400 yards if you have cover is plenty for archery. But come muzzleloader/general gun in open palmetto flats. Not a good idea. I don’t know why people can’t just completely back out if they see another hunter.
@@Floridaoutdoorschannel I agree, but it wasn’t worth a confrontation with a armed person that could be just plain evil if you know what I mean. Good luck with the buck you’re after. Also, never pass on the first day what you’re willing to take on the last day.
Yes no confrontation with another armed hunter, I agree. Thank you. I appreciate it. Hopefully he’s still around. Good luck on your hunting adventures 🦌 as well
What a beautiful view. We don't see that in South Florida but still great flooded and hot! Thank you for sharing your videos.
